DOTT: World Class: What should have been!

Recommended Posts

World Class Championship Wrestling. Its where Wrestling is at. Its what the forefront of Wrestling is. Its what every wrestler should dream of working one day. With its innovative style and its unique flavor World Class Championship Wrestling was one of the top promotions in the 1980s. Sadly though it fell hard. but perhaps there is another route... one that will give World Class the true justice it deserves. One that will show everyone why World Class is the best there was, the best there is and the best there ever will be. World Class has a lot to accomplish but if anyone can do it its World Class. World Class has just now began to associate itself with international feds. World Class is in talks with the NJPW and Stampede about using there talent and vice versa. But before we get ahead of ourselves heres the story. My name is Neal Montgomery. I am a plain old North Texas boy. Me and my Grandpa use to go watch Fritz Von Erich in Wichita Falls when I was 8 years old. I have watched World Class throughout High School live and on TV. I have been talking to Kevin's old discuss throwing coach (Kevin or Kerry threw the Discuss in high school) and he gave me a way to get ahold of Kevin. Me and Kevin started talking and he asked me if I would like to join World Class as a curtain jerker and maybe help out creative wise because of my degree in Marketing. So now I will present to you Diary a recollectoin of my weekly struggles in World Class as Neal Montgomery worker and Neal Montgomery Booker.

The wrestler that I am playing with in my wrestling spirit dynasty used to be in World Class. He joined parttime in the summer of '84 and was wearing a mask. He was known as "Texas Red". He went back after WCCW merged with CWA and formed USWA. He wore a mask then and was known as "Master of Pain". He won the Texas Heavyweight championship and lost it to one of the Von Erichs. He is currently in WWE as "The Undertaker".

I'm currently playing a game as World Class, so this diary will be interesting to read. Keep an eye out for the next DOTT update. I included about 5 storylines specifically for that promotion; The Battle of the Valets and the beginnings of the Freebirds v Von Erichs being the most relevant. Word of advice... hire Paul Boesch straight out of the chute. The man really should be running his own promotion, but Houston Championship got cut at the last second. He's entirely worth every penny you have to spend to get him. All the degenerates on your roster will need someone to come in and take the bull by the horns straight off the bat. I allowed them to be run by the default road agents and I had mass anarchy on my hands within two months, heh. It didn't help that I brought in Gino Hernandez as my lone signing. ;) Good luck! Should be fun to read.

Neal Montgomery Notes: I make my Pro Debut this week! It will be against Johnny Mantell. Me and Johnny are hoping to have a decent undercard match. Me and Kevin and Kerry were talking backstage today and it has been agreed that at the TV Taping David and Kerry will team up against the Freebirds in a Non Title Match. Chris Adams and Iceman Parsons will also be in action against Kamala and Buddy Roberts. Well the World Class tapings are tommorow and I will have the results and notes. Until then Happy Holidays.
