EdgeHeaD
I've had a game that's been running for 3 years of game time, and I've had a dojo for pretty much the enitre time with Samoa Joe starting as the trainer, then Mick Foley and it's had not one graduate? Does my company need to be a specific size? Or does it just take time?
tommyb
<p>Dojo graduates won't start to appear unless one of two conditions is satisfied.</p><p> </p><p> 1. The Dojo is in the database with graduates set in the 'Dojo Graduates' section.</p><p> </p><p> 2. The date at which new workers are to begin to be generated has passed.</p><p> </p><p> I guess you created the dojo yourself, so it has not set graduates in the database, and also you left the date at which new workers should start to appear at the default setting which is January 2022 I think.</p><p> </p><p> Therefore you won't get any graduates until that date.</p>

Your "New Worker Generation" setting in your save, the higher the better AND the date set for new workers to be generated at database level (must be on). Workers from this are only generated at most 1 per game area (USA, Canada, Europe etc) every 2 months.</p><p> 2. With only 1 potential worker every 2 months coming from each area, the chances of your dojo producing a worker are reduced for every competing dojo. The more dojos, the smaller chance yours will be the one to produce the worker.</p><p> 3. Regenerated workers won't come through dojos, due to a potential clash in a dojo closing before a regen actually debuts.</p><p> </p><p> In the Cornellverse you'll be lucky to get a graduate from your own American dojo... though any Mexican, European and Australian dojos tend to do quite well for making people.</p><p> </p><p> I'm really hoping this gets tweaked for future games, though there needs to be corresponding work done on worker retirements to avoid cluttering up a database with low level workers who do nothing for their entire careers. It's a tricky one.</p>
EdgeHeaD
That explains it. I have the new worker generation date set to when I started the game, but I'm guessing my dojo isn't in the database since I created it myself and there are a lot already in the game. Thanks for clearing it up guys <img alt="" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/smile.png.142cfa0a1cd2925c0463c1d00f499df2.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" />
