At one time Cliff Anderson lead a group of investors to purchase CZCW, which it can not be denied saved the small company from an early demise. Under Mr. Anderson leadership CZCW became an underground cult favorite with wrestling tape traders and diehard wrestling fans, however over time some of these unnamed investors grew disillusioned with the lack of growth of the company. These men ended their business relationship on good terms with a handshake and the buying out from CZCW of the unnamed investors to Mr. Anderson. This is the story of the unnamed investors return to the wrestling business with the formation of his own wrestling company.

GEN NXT Head of the Board of Directors Makes Announcement

 

First would like to welcome all to the Next Generation of Pro Wrestling. This is not my first party though it has been almost two years since my last dynasty. Most went by the wayside quickly, though all had love and time put into them so links of said previous works by the masked propagandist as well as an earlier previous persona will be posted at the bottom of the roster page. The roster page will continue to have updates, roster inclusions, roster depletions, Championship listings current and previous, as well as continuous other alterations so I invite you to visit it randomly and at your leisure. The focus on this unlike previous works will be for a continuous flow in game play as well as simple updates. Hopefully, this will prevent burnouts, laziness and lack of interest. It is my hope this simple constancy will not take away from overall depth. Its purpose is for you to share the story I began telling to myself a short ago. This match had little heat and action that seemed to be just going through the motions; good ringside work but Remmy seemed off his game.

POST SHOW: Nothing more could have been asked for the first show of the Next Generation. It was exactly as it should have been and as good as I knew it could be. There are no complaints (but when there are then this is where I will put them), however; after the show a large note was placed on all the locker room doors and a replication of this note was repeated via e-mail to all participants. First we here at GEN NXT would like to thank you for your hard work tonight and your shared vision of tomorrow. If we all see things clearly as they are, GEN NXT is the future as it should be and one that we will build together. These are not just empty words and to prove this we at GEN NXT will be holding an inaugural “draft” to bolster our roster in number from the eight elite greats we have currently. The difference in this draft compared to others in the history of this business is the chosen will be so by you not by an owner, not a hand picked GM or some bureaucratic commissioner, but by the man in the foxhole next to him. The first tag team tournament will be held during the last week of this month so keep this information in the front of your minds as you choose the future.

The news out of GEN NXT on how the rest of the roster would be filled was a shock to all, a challenge to some, an inconvenience to others. Some took it as an opportunity to bring in backup and/or friends. All took it as a way to be included in bringing in the best talent possible for the future of GEN NXT. We will look at each inclusion by the man who chose his entry with his given reason why. REASON: Well the reason is obvious as they are current tag partners elsewhere and are simply bringing their collective talents to GEN NXT. Here however they have added a little twist as when competing in single contests they will be using their GEN NXT monikers Dragon Warrior & Gen Dragon, but in a united battle they will take off the face paint and mask and put on the green gi’s and fake dragon neck tattoo’s of the Cali Dragons you know and love.

Chaos Theory - Pandemonium & Zero

REASON: The man who took Acid to his limit in the finals of the GEN NXT Global Tournament chose for similar reasons but much different agenda. Bringing back an American talent that had been making his home and name in Mexico and doing the same with an American student from Japan. Putting then together in red face paint and black hoods he has brought two American greats back home and into GEN NXT relevance as well as two disciples in whatever hellish plans he has yet to conjure.

REASON: Here both Sienna and Remmy chose an individual for different reasons. Ms. Deville brought in her current boy toy in one James Mainstream as Remmy brought in a tag partner which not only shocked the wrestling community, but puts him in place for yet another shiny gold belt to constantly contend. When asked what name they were called they said “society always wants to label us so you want a name? We give you NAME“. So, together they call themselves NAME (they pronounce it ‘Enemy’ N-a-ME though).

REASON: Given an opportunity to make her mark in GEN NXT Sara Silver has made the most of it. Not only doing an extraordinary job on color she has brought in the most experienced tag team into GEN NXT. From the orient she has brought in the golden samoans and shown them that with her in the corner and some cool silver rimmed sunglasses they can take over America. She calls her duo The Silverbacks.

REASON: Steve Smith is a student of the game. He knows the up and comers around the globe and it was with a thought of the future when he made his decision. He knew he wanted to take a European or someone over in Europe and break them in America. Not gonna lie we were this close on signing Joss Thompson as Smith had suggested when a breaking down in contract negotiations put a stop to that plan. Mr. Smith then informed us of a young man getting tryouts in all the European promotions and quite a few of the smaller American and Canadian ones as well. A Belgian from my home town and I agreed completely with Mr. Smith that the Dread Pirate had GEN NXT written all over him.

REASON: Our head ref Eugene Williams decided that GEN NXT was not the Next Generation if the past wasn’t inherit in our superstars. I think others thought the same, as we have the prodigies of many greats of the past now among us. Here was no exception as Mr. Williams brought in as a team for the first time, the children of one of greats in this business. They now call themselves Double Gauge choosing to earn their merits on their own and not float on the surname of their father.

REASON: Well our head ref chose with class and appreciation for the business. Our younger ref just grabbed two extremely green and young high flying rookies from Canada and put them in crazy hoods and outfits. Calling one Ultra Flea and the Other Ultra Tick together they are the Ultraoids. Sounds like a heart burn medication to me, but it is what it is.

It was what was expected, as the heat was nil with this squash first round matchup. The Dragons dominated and the little bug guys looked cute in there neon tights.

A solid first round contest with the new blondies holding their own against the more established and more over team.

And we were back to some lackluster heat for a contest that seemed one sided as the little had offense by Hollywood & Phoenix seemed unbelievable. I guess the Revelation is that these two need time to mesh.

Finally a contest worthy of the GEN NXT label. A solid bout with great highflying action and honest realism in the cries of anguish and on the pained faces (if they were visible)

The last match of the first round took place between a couple of blood relations. It was obviously a match between talented wresters just no one seemed to care about them… yet. The twin sons of Sam Keith were able to get the tres, though they argued for a second on who would make the three count.

Finally a match that surprised me with its flawlessness even if the casual fan didn’t appreciate it. Not that they didn’t, most were really into the contest which unless your on vacation to Portland Oregon from San Juan haven’t seen it before.

With Chaos Theory first round victory being on the pre-show they took this opportunity to impress as they gave Frankie & Mikey all they could handle. I see great things in store for the mayhem methods of the red faced painted. Alas, it was not meant to be.

I expected more from all four men to be honest and Naro mistimed a spot which looked foolish. It was a lackluster contest held in the middle of an card with few shining moments. Maybe I expect too much though. After the pinfall Gregory visibly blamed Matthew for not being there to break it up.

This was better though again expecting to much still, think the four can squeeze little more out of any rematches which I am sure there will be. Anyway, a good contest from four men who wear the label GEN NXT proudly.

Now this match was better than I expect! The two had pretty good chemistry and the character hatred from the front rows for Memphis added into a solid contest with good heat.

Patriot was overtly angered at his poor showing against Acid in the first round of the GEN NXT Global Tournament and was determined to impress here. And impress he did! Unfortunately his best efforts were not good enough. After his loss in a very unpatriotic way picked up a chair and went after Acid before thinking better of it and throwing it down in frustration with his actions.

Acid defeated American Patriot in 18:43 to retain the GEN NXT Global Championship with an Acid Rain Bomb.

POST SHOW: Well the main event saved what some might consider a neutral maybe even lackluster show. Though the anger shown out of the Patriot at the end was interesting and amusing. The guy always holds himself all high and mighty and for the good of us all has a dark side. That’s cool. The show will go down in history and won’t be brought up much. It was a bunch of strangers now having to shower together. A lot of new faces as to be expected since we are new. They will start to mesh and gain some practice in competition with one another and in the end we will be tearing down arenas holding tens of tens of thousands… that’s my prediction. You with me? We have decided to start slow and build a solid base. What I mean though we are a touring promotion and plan to branch out soon and quickly, we are taking the first couple months to build up steam. We are building a legacy in each championship belt we unveil that we hope will last through history. That left two down, For the third outing of the Next Generation GEN NXT is proud to bring to you….
