dtrot021
The WWE has reportedly promoted Stephanie McMahon to replace her mother as WWE's CEO. Vince McMahon will take more of a backseat role to his daughter, but he still will remain WWE's owner and chairman. Stephanie took herself out of the Head Booker role. It was thought she would give the position to her husband Paul "Triple H" Levesque, but that turned out to be untrue. Stephanie hired critically acclaimed writer Shawn Hayashi for the job. Hayashi has been on the creative teams of WCW in 1996-1998, WWF in 1999-2001, TNA in 2004-2007, and ROH in 2008-2009. Hayashi took a short hiatus for 2010 before being signed back to WWE on January 1, 2011. Mr. Hayashi is already making big changes within World Wrestling Entertainment. He made a deal with the USA Network and SyFy to bring WWE back to TV-14 on the day of his hiring. He cancelled the Season 4 of NXT and sent the rookies back down to FCW. He uplifted most of the bans of violence, and is looking to make more of a wrestling-orientated approach in WWE's product. The first show under Hayashi's wing will be the January 3, 2011 edition of Monday Night RAW. Tune in to see what happens!
