Munster
Tried to buy the game at 7:15 a.m. EST Saturday. It downloaded and I went through the reg process, but upon clicking the "Purchase" button, was dialogued that a connection could not be established with the license server. Numerous attempts failed. What to do?
Tim Plum
sounds like either your server or elicense crapped out. I would try again shortly.
Munster
Everything appears to be fine on my mind, Tim. I've done other downloading elsewhere this AM, no proxy issues, I've purchased from GDS before, etc. , etc. I will try again -- but how do I get the purchase dialogue back w/o re-downloading? Tim Plum
The server issue is on GDS/elicense end as I figured. If you have already put in your credit card info. I would go directly to elicense website. Server is down on GDS side-I'm trying to get hold of someone now. No promises.
Munster
OK, Tim -- but repeating my question: How do I get to that dialogue w/o re-downloading the game? The dialogue only pops up at the end of the copy-file process.
Munster
Well, I see now that the purchase dialogue pops up when I try to open the game. Little did I know that I cannot continue my demo season either now that this has happened! So...still no luck purchasing; just waiting for you guys to get your license server back on line. Azamien
I've had that happen on other games. Just go to https://www.elicense.com/greydogsoftware/store/index.asp and order it manually there.

tdog
I know this might not be any help , but I downloaded it this morning and didn't have any problems. I know, no help, just thought I'd pass this info on.
Munster
Thanks guys, but no good. Taking Azamien's advice, I was able to go there and actually purchase the game and get a license #. However, when trying to obtain the license, I continue to get messages that a connection cannot be established with the license server. And since this has disenabled my demo, my big plans for a nice Sat. morning settling in with the game are screwed. Tim...someone...help!

Munster
This appears to be a firewall issue. I turned off the firewall and it appears I'm OK now. Just mentioning this in case anyone else has the same problem (I use NIS). Thanks for everyone's help and advice.
