juggaloninjalee Posted March 25, 2011 Posted March 25, 2011 I spoke with Genadi and asked him if I could use his mod as a base and he approved. If he hadn't approved this would not be possible. I put in a few hours last night and still have many more hours to put into this. I want to thank Genadi for allowing me to use his work as a start to my own. Here is my idea... The main setting will take place in 2005. I also want to do a 1997-1998 version if this goes well, and possibly a 2000 version. The history going back to 1995 will be altered in many ways. Some small things and some huge things will be different. Some of the changes that would happen are... *WCW 1) The nWo never had became over bloated. Bischoff never joined. Ted DiBiase was the leading force behind it financially. No fake Sting but the nWo teased that Sting was in the group so we still got crow Sting and the Starrcade 1997 main event. That main event ended with Sting winning cleanly and no Bret Hart fixing of a screw job in WCW. Instead the WCW roster comes out to offer congrats but Sting walks right by them blowing them off. Bret Hart then walks out on the stage and faces off with Sting for a moment before the show goes off air. 2) WCW used Bret Hart effectively. From his debut foreshadowing a future match with Bret Hart that didn't take place until Starrcade 98. During this year Bret Hart worked his way up by beating many people and eventually winning the US Title at 1 point. 3) Ric Flair never was fired and continued to be at or near the main event. His 4 Horseman of Malenko, Benoit, himself, and Curt Hennig was arguably the best set of 4 in the 4 Horseman ever. 4) David Arquette was never champion! Russo never came to WCW. Donald Trump had purchased WCW in 1997 after the (early) Time Warner merger. The celebrity main events of Malone, Rodman, Leno, and Greene never happened. Kiss debut the Demon but not live on Nitro. The agreement was that Kiss and other artists at different times went on tour with WCW and did a pre wrestling show in close by venues. A segment aired with Kiss unveiling their own wrestler who never really mounted to much. 5) Goldberg came into WCW and became over quickly. The streak did happen almost exactly the same. He didn't win the World title while still undefeated. Bret Hart eventually beat him during his heel run thanks to cheating somehow (haven't put a lot of thought into this yet). 6) The Road Warriors came to WCW instead of WWF in the mid to late 90s. 7) Donald Trump kept Bischoff from ruining relations with NJPW. NJPW did run their own nWo with Chono as the leader. WCW finally began allowing their real stars to go over for a couple shows occasionally. Chono even came to the USA and had some matches with Sting for the WCW Heavyweight Title. This NJPW and WCW relationship still exists today and benefits both involved. *ECW 1) Paul Heyman ran ECW almost exactly the same way. He tried to allow the roster to invest in the product but they refused to because of their bouncing checks. Gabe Sapolski tried to buy ECW from Heyman. Heyman refused it and eventually agreed to sell to the WWF instead. Then he even signed on with them. *WWF 1) The Steve Austin vs McMahon angles and such still pushed them to #1 with the other good booking they had going on. Austin became the most over wrestler in America. His rivalry with the Rock was considered one of the best in the history of wrestling. 2) DX was a main event comedy act. Their whole purpose was to push the boundaries of what was acceptable and not. HBK still broke his back and had to walk away leaving HHH to take over the reigns of leader in DX. The 1-2-3 Kid came back to the WWF after being fired in WCW after showing up drunk (not fired just to prove a point like in the real world). Waltman was a fresh act and brought a lot of edge to DX. He also was praised as being a breakout star once he returned. WCW pushed Waltman as a rival to the nWo. He was an underdog babyface that Hall hated for humiliating him in the past. 3) The WWF finally agreed to work with AJPW to counter WCW's agreement with NJPW. The WWF didn't use it as well since when they brought in a guy from AJPW they buried him to their own stars. 4) When the Giant jumped ship the WWF sent him into developement right away to help get him in shape. He also was very green in the ring. 5) The Rock became the biggest star in Wrestling next to Steve Austin from their feuds. He even accepted movie roles and became a mainstream superstar on all fronts. 6) The WWF ran an ECW invasion angle in 2001 that was surprisingly successful. The Heyman led stable with help from Shane and Stephanie McMahon made them a force. The WWF eventually won when the Rock defeated Steve Austin to end the ECW Invasion angle. Many ECW guys were jobbed in the feud. The ECW World Title and TV title were merged with the WWF Hardcore belt. The tag titles were merged with the WWF Tag Team belts. *Other promotions 1) NWA:TNA opened in 2001 (early because Jeff Jarrett and Jerry weren't happy with how Jeff wasn't pushed in WCW. Dan Severn, Jeff Jarrett, Ken Shamrock, Nathan Jones, and others are part of the initial roster. NWA:TNA get a working agreement with NOAH, and AAA. 2) ROH opens and offers a new style of wrestling to US wrestling. 3) XWF is opened by Jimmy Hart and Hulk Hogan in an attempt to keep Hogan at the top of the wrestling world. They did ok with old school fans and stay in business for awhile without a tv deal. Still trying to come up with more to flesh this out but I think this would be fun. So while I using Genadi's 2001 mod to help me out I will change most everything about it. He gets full credit as this wouldn't be possible without him.
juggaloninjalee Posted March 25, 2011 Author Posted March 25, 2011 Reserved for 1995 (Still in progress) WWF Brian Pillman joined the WWF and made an impact right away. He debuted by attacking Shawn Michaels backstage. He then came down to the ring and proceeded to cut a promo calling himself the loose cannon Brian Pillman. He vowed to become the best in the WWF. Pillman beat Deisel in a non-title match and Razor Ramon in a non-title match as well in 95. He was one of the hottest rising superstars in the WWF.
juggaloninjalee Posted March 25, 2011 Author Posted March 25, 2011 Reserved for 1996 (Still in progress) WCW The nWo 3 was formed at Bash at the Beach 1996 with many questions still being asked. How did they get access to entering the buildings? How could they afford to air their commercials on WCW television? These questions were answered early on in the nWo's history. Hollywood Hogan went on to beat the Giant for the title thanks to a distraction from one of WCW's board of directors Ted DiBiase. Ted DiBiase was funding the group and was one of the directors of WCW. DiBiase called out Bischoff and waged war on WCW the Nitro after Giant had lost the belt. Bischoff set up a match at War Games that put WCW's best against the nWo's 3 men. Luger, Sting, and Randy Savage represented WCW. DiBiase promised to unveil a new member "soon" that would solidify the nWo's hold on WCW. During War Games the nWo and WCW were going back and forth when the Giant came out. It appeared as though he was there to make sure nobody ran in to help the nWo as he was with Bischoff. DiBiase came out by himself and got in Eric's face. Then the Giant grabbed Bischoff and choke slammed him. The Giant then proceeded to break into the cage and chokeslam Luger while the Outsiders took care of Sting and Savage. Hogan hit a leg drop on Luger and made the pin to secure the victory for the new World order. Giant was handed a microphone and simply said "If you can't beat them join them." The nWo was this group of 5 for a bit. Sean Waltman debuted and tried to talk Hall and Nash into stopping what they were doing. The Giant went on to feud with the lightweight to wrap up the year. The final Nitro of the year saw Luger laid out backstage and a black bat laying next to him. It was the same bat that Sting had the previous week when he ran the nWo off from attacking Savage, Waltman, and Luger in the ring. Tony Schiavone said "This had to be the work of the nWo but how did they get that bat?"
juggaloninjalee Posted March 25, 2011 Author Posted March 25, 2011 Reserved for 1997 (still in progress) WWF Steve Austin won the royal rumble when he was thrown out but the referees didn't see it. He won when he tossed Bret Hart over the top rope. Bret Hart went on to beat Steve Austin at In Your House for the vacant WWF World Title thanks to interference by Brian Pillman. At Wrestlemania Bret Hart beat Steve Austin when Shamrock stopped the match for too much blood loss even though it was a submission match. Austin went on to avenge this loss though at In Your House the following month. Also at Wrestlemania the Undertaker beat Sid and Vader for the WWF World Title. The Undertaker went on to defend his title against Mankind, and Vader in the same night at In Your House: Revenge of Undertaker. Ahmed Johnson was on fire as he forced Farrooq to fire a member of the NOD after running thru a gauntlet match in which he beat Crush, Savio Vega, and then Farrooq. Farrooq fired Crush. Crush then found himself losing to Goldust at KotR. HHH went on to win the King of the Ring after beating Mankind in the final. Taker continued to be a dominant champion as he beat Vader at In Your House Calgary Stampede. Mankind went to hit Taker with a chair but hit Vader instead laying him out. Brian Pillman's star fell some but he did manage to beat Goldust at Summerslam with the stipulation being that the loser had to wear a dress. Goldust proceeded to use the dress as a way to get under Pillman's skin some more. Davey Boy Smith was dominant with the European Championship. He beat Ken Shamrock at Summerslam convincingly. At Summerslam Steve Austin broke his neck in a match against Owen Hart when he was piledriven head first into the mat. Owen Hart was awarded the title because Austin couldn't continue. Bret Hart beat the Undertaker for the WWF Title in the main event at Summerslam. The following month Hart beat HBK and Undertaker in a 3-way to retain the title. In October at In Your House: Bad Blood HBK beat Undertaker in HIAC when Kane came out and chokeslammed Taker. Survivor Series saw HBK win the belt off Bret Hart in the Montreal Screw Job. Austin went over Owen Hart to win the IC belt. The Hart Foundation was left furious at the end of the night. Taka Michinoku debuted the night after Survivor Series on Raw. By this time DX was running wild in WWF. They came out and did some commentary during some lightweight title tournament matches. Making fun of the "midgets of the WWF." They also insulted Canadians and Bret Hart after bringing out a midget in a Bret Hart mask. Ken Shamrock went on to beat HBK by DQ at the final PPV of the year. Taka won the lightweight title and was the 1st holder of the title. Jesse James and Billy Gunn won the tag titles from Savio Vega and Chainz. The show went down as a big success to close the year. WCW Down South WCW were the kings of wrestling. At their 1st PPV Masahiro Chono destroyed Alex Wright. Dean Malenko won the Cruiserweight Title. Eddie Guerrero retained the US Title against Scott Norton, and Lex Luger beat Scott Hall in the main event. Jeff Jarrett made the jump to WCW in 1997 after a fall out with the WWF. He debuted by beating Michael Wall Street. Buff Bagwell joined the nWo by turning on Scotty Riggs. Scott Norton turned down the nWo and faced Bagwell at Souled Out where he won by DQ. Also at Souled Out Hollywood Hogan beat DDP to retain the Heavyweight Title. Chono beat Jericho thanks to help from the nWo. Giant beat Eddie Guerrero by count out so Eddie kept the US Title. The feud between the Steiner Brother and the Outsiders heated up when the Steiners beat them at their own PPV nWo Souled Out. At Superbrawl Sean Waltman went on to win the Cruiserweight Title from Dean Malenko. Eddie Guerrero beat Jericho to keep the US Title at Superbrawl as well. Hollywood Hogan beat Roddy Piper to retain the Heavyweight Title thanks to DiBiase distracting Piper. Uncensored was a PPV that went down as one of the best of 1997. Malenko won the US Title from Eddie Guerrero. Buff Bagwell beat Scott Riggs again only this time in a strap match. Prince Iaukea somehow beat Mysterio Jr. Team NWO (Hogan, Hall, Nash & Giant) beat Team WCW (Savage, Luger, The Steiners), & Team Piper (Piper, Jarrett, Benoit, & Savage) in a really well done match. At the height of Spring WCW held Spring Stampede. Malenko retained his title against fellow Horseman Chris Benoit. The build up to this match almost broke the group up. Iaukea retained the TV belt against the Gentleman Steven Regal. Nash and Hall beat Jarrett and McMichael when Jarrett left Mongo after weeks of in fighting within the 4 Horseman. Ric Flair approved of Jarretts leaving Mongo. McMichael was kicked out of the 4 Horseman this night. Not much happened over the following couple of months as the Heavyweight Title wasn't defended. Kevin Greene did come into WCW only to face Mongo 1 month and beat some lower card guys like Steven Regal at the time. Hogan returned at Bash at the Beach to defend his Heavyweight Title against the Giant and Lex Luger in a 3 way title match. Hogan won thanks to the Giants help. Also at Bash at the Beach Masa Chono and Great Muta lost to the Steiner Brothers. Jeff Jarrett beat Mongo McMichael to keep the US Title. In Sturgis at Road Wild the buzz was in the air as Hogan would take on WCW's savior Lex Luger for the Heavyweight Title. Hogan won the title though and rode off on a custom bike for him. At Road Wild the Steiners would again beat the Outsiders but by DQ. Randy Savage would go on to beat the Giant in a No DQ match after about nine chair shots. Things heated up over the next few months as Sting stalked Hogan up until Starrcade. A man named Goldberg was tearing thru the roster. Nobody could stop the man. Bret Hart debuted and was set to be the guest referee in a match between DiBiase and Bischoff at Starrcade. If DiBiase lost the nWo would have to disband. He won though with the Million Dollar Sleeper. With the win the nWo was able to choose the main event of the first Nitro of 2008. Sting went on to beat Hollywood Hogan in a slow paced match. Sting was destroying Hogan most of the match and then Hogan did an eye poke. DiBiase even managed to distract Sting a few times. Hogan hit a leg drop but Sting kicked out to a thunderous ovation. Hogan would then tap to a Scorpion Death lock. The locker room came out clapping with Lex Luger getting on the microphone offering congrats. Sting walked right by him shaking his head. He got to the ramp and Bret Hart came out. Bret stepped aside and allowed Sting to pass after giving him a pat on the back.
juggaloninjalee Posted March 25, 2011 Author Posted March 25, 2011 Reserved for 1998 (Still in progress) WWF The Rock started to really get over with the crowd in 1998. At the Royal Rumble he came across as dominant. He beat Ken Shamrock even though D'Lo Brown helped distract Shamrock the Rock did well. Then in the Royal Rumble he was the final elimination at Steve Austin tossed him over the top rope. The WWF had a deal with the NWA and was using their Champion Dan Severn, and some of their other talent. However the NWA titles never were put over much on RAW or on the PPV's. The NWA was really dissappointed that this partnership didn't amount to more. At Wrestlemania Mike Tyson was the special enforcer for HBK vs Steve Austin. Austin went on to win the title in a match that seemed to take a lot out of both men. Austin would then go on to feud with Vince McMahon week in and week out. Little did the WWF know but this would make them the #1 promotion in America. The Nation of Domination continued to feud with DX. HHH and the New Age Outlaws would come out dressed as the NOD and mock them. The fans loved things like this. X-Pac and Chyna were used as more of support for DX. The Rock went over Ken Shamrock at the King of the Ring in 1998. Rock told Jerry Lawler to take that crown shine it up real shiney and stick it straight up his candy ass! Undertaker would throw Mankind off the top of the cage at KOTR and even throw him on top of the cage which broke and he nailed the mat of the ring knocking a tooth out. This got Mick Foley over huge with the crowd in his future. Kane beat Steve Austin for the belt and held it for awhile. At Summerslam Kane beat the Undertaker to keep the belt. At Breakdown In Your House both Kane and Taker pinned Austin and Kane was still the champion. The following month at Judgement Day Kane and Taker both pinned each other due to the actions of Steve Austin. As a result the title was vacated. At Survivor Series the Rock went on to beat Mankind in order to win the World Title! At Rock Bottom In Your House Mankind knocked out Rock with the mandible claw but Rock never submitted so the title didn't change hands. Meanwhile Steve Austin went on to bury the Undertaker alive in the co-main event. In on air interviews later on Steve Austin went on to say that was one of his toughest matches to date. WCW The nWo had complete control over the 1st Nitro of 1998. They put Zbysko in a match with Scott Hall in which Hall won thanks to DiBiase causing a referee distraction. Bret Hart came out to confront the nWo but Ric Flair came out to do the same thing. Both men wanted Hollywood Hogan in the ring. DiBiase suggested that they face each other at Souled Out with the winner facing Hogan at Super Brawl 8. Bret Hart went on to win at Souled Out. The nWo said the following night on Nitro that Hogan wouldn't be ready to fight at Super Brawl 8. Ric Flair asked for a rematch at Super Brawl 8 and it was granted. Flair won this time using some dirty tactics. Sting took on the Giant at Super Brawl 8 and won the vacant WCW Title. Scott Hall who had won World War 3 and was the #1 contender lost to Sting at Uncensored. Hogan went on to beat Randy Savage in the co-main event to be the #1 contender again. Bret Hart continued to feud with the 4 Horseman. Curt Hennig stepped up to face Bret Hart at Uncensored and lost by DQ when Ric Flair interfered. At Spring Stampede Bret Hart beat Ric Flair for the 2nd time in 3 matches. After the match they shook hands. Randy Savage went on to beat Sting at Spring Stampede for the WCW Title. Savage would later lose it to Hulk Hogan who lost it to Goldberg. At Bash at the Beach Hogan beat DDP when Dennis Rodman got involved. Karl Malone pulled Rodman off the apron and hit a diamond cutter which got the crowd to pop huge! DDP was distracted though and it was exactly what Hogan needed. He hit the big boot and leg drop to pick up the win. Jay Leno showed up to Road Wild but was just a guest of Eric Bischoff. DDP went on to beat Hogan. Goldberg continued to dominate by beating Mongo McMichael. Jericho proceeded to face fake Goldbergs every week on Nitro. Halloween Havoc from MGM Grand Hotel was a good show. Goldberg ran Chris Jericho off when he showed up instead of a fake Goldberg. Then he went on to later beat DDP in the main event to retain the WCW Title. Kevin Nash went on to win at World War 3 from the Palace of Auburn Hills. He got on the microphone and told his hometown fans of Detroit that just like the Red Wings he would be bringing a title home to Michigan. Goldberg at Starrcade was the heavy favorite. Scott Hall told Goldberg that there was no way he would walk out with the title this night. Goldberg laughed in his face. In the match Scott Hall came out to help Nash but Goldberg speared him. Then he turned around and got a big boot and Jack knife power bomb! Nash made the pin 1...... 2.......... and kick out! Goldberg kicked out. Nash had a look of shock on his face. He went for another jack knife but Goldberg flipped him over. Then he nailed a spear and followed up with a Jackhammer for the win! 1998 had ended on a high note with the fans very happy with the outcome.
juggaloninjalee Posted March 25, 2011 Author Posted March 25, 2011 Reserved for 1999 (still in progress...) WWF The year of the Rock and the end of Vince Russo writing for the WWF. The Rock would lose the title to Steve Austin at Wrestlemania after a run in by Vince McMahon. At Over the Edge Owen Hart beat the Godfather for the IC Title. Owen Hart cut a promo stating that he would never put on the Blue Blazer outfit. The crowd cheered him even though he was trying to cut a heel promo. He went on to wrestle the rest of the year with the IC belt. Also at Over the Edge the Undertaker beat Stone Cold Steve Austin for the WWF World Title. He would go on to defend it successfully at the King of the Ring against the Rock. Austin won the title back at Fully Loaded only to lose it the following month to Mankind in a 3 way that involved HHH as well. At Unforgiven HHH would win the belt in a 6 pack challenge that featured Davey Boy Smith, Mankind, HHH, Brian Pillman, Kane, and Big Show. Vince Russo and Ed Ferrara left the WWF. Both tried to get a job with WCW. Russo was hired but worked for Bischoff. After a few months he was fired once they realized he didn't have the best ideas. Big Show went on to win the title at Survivor Series. He also beat the Big Bossman at Armageddon to retain the belt. During this year HHH would marry Stephanie McMahon and Vince would try to get the marriage annulled. D'Lo Brown and Droz began a feud that got both men some exposure. Vic Grimes was serving as a friend of Droz and Albert. Vic quickly was released from his contract though before the new year. Brian Pillman feuded with the Godfather for some time this year. WCW Goldberg went on to lose his title to Hollywood Hogan in a 4 way. Kevin Nash and Scott Hall were also in the match at Souled Out. Goldberg almost retained and the fans still backed him. The 4 Horseman of Ric Flair, Arn Anderson, Dean Malenko, Chris Benoit, and Curt Hennig showed signs of being the elite wrestling faction in WCW. Flair wrestled occasionally but was usually the mouth piece of the group. Arn didn't wrestle but did serve as an enforcer helping members pick up wins occasionally. Hogan wouldn't let Goldberg get another shot. When Goldberg did get a shot a couple of months later at Spring Stampede Hogan got himself counted out. The crowd began throwing things as the were really mad that Hogan was still champion. The nWo became just another stable this year until Scott Steiner began his reign of terror. Really nobody felt that they would take over WCW like in the past but Big Poppa Pump was changing the perception. At Fall Brawl Sting won the World Title back from Hollywood Hogan. At Mayhem he would lose the belt to Bret Hart in a 3 way which involving Chris Benoit. Randy Savage was using more of a power game at this point in his career. He had destroyed Eddie Guerrero in a short 2 month feud they had. Diamond Dallas Page was quickly becoming one of the top babyfaces in WCW. Vampiro and the Insane Clown Posse were standing between him and a title shot at the end of the year. At Starrcade Bret Hart beat an injured Goldberg after using a crowbar to take out Goldbergs knee the previous week. Goldberg couldn't get out of the Sharpshooter and eventually passed out from blood loss and pain. The ref called for the bell and paramedics rushed to the ring.
juggaloninjalee Posted March 25, 2011 Author Posted March 25, 2011 Reserved for 2000 (still in progress...) WWF Taz debuted in the WWF by beating Kurt Angle at the Royal Rumble with a Tazzmission Choke. The Rock went on to win the Royal Rumble match. The final elimination was Big Show. The Big Show had dominated the last 10 minutes of the match. The Radicalz debuted in the WWF by sitting in the front row late in January. They consisted of Eddie Guerrero, and Chris Benoit. WWF fans knew them as some guys from WCW. Many wondered why the came to the WWF and they didn't have to wait long to find out. They attacked Kurt Angle, and Chris Jericho during their match leaving them down and out. They went on to lose to Too Cool, and Rikishi thanks to Angle and Jericho both interfering in the match. At No Way Out Cactus Jack lost to HHH and was forced to retire per the stipulation. Hunter began calling himself the career killer after this match. Owen Hart went on to beat HHH on Raw in a non-title match showing that he deserved a title shot. A 4-way match was made for the title at Wrestlemania between Rock, HHH, Owen Hart, and Big Show with Mick Foley as guest referee. Benoit of the Radicalz went on to win the IC Title at Wrestlemania while Chyna and Eddie Guerrero began to feud. Around Backlash Droz and D'Lo Brown's feud was about to wrap up. Droz ended up getting beat cleanly by D'Lo Brown. D'Lo went on to contend for the European Title. Kurt Angle would go on to win the KOTR. He had to go and beat D'Lo Brown, Rikishi, and Val Venis in the final. Summerslam had arguably the best match of the year. Rock beat HHH, Kurt Angle, and Owen Hart in an elimination match for the Title with HHH being the final pinfall. At No Mercy Kurt Angle went on to beat the Rock for the Title. In the final PPV of 2000 Armageddon there was a Hell in a Cell Match for WWF Title. Champ Kurt Angle beat The Rock, Steve Austin , Triple H, Owen Hart, & The Undertaker. Brian Pillman passed away on December 26th the day after Christmas from an unknown heart condition. Originally many thought he had died of a drug overdose but doctors said no drugs were in his system. He had quit drinking and changed his life earlier in the year. WCW The WCW Champ was feeling like he was on top of the world going into 2000. He had beaten Goldberg and possibly put him out of action for a short time. He cut a promo saying that his technical prowess was unmatched in WCW. Then Chris Benoit came out shortly after and challenged Hart to a submission match. Hart said that he would accept on 1 condition. Lose leaves WCW! Benoit accepted after some hesitation. Bret Hart and Benoit had an amazing technical match that many in the industry praised. Souled Out wasn't a great show but this match made it worth purchasing. Hart went on to win with the Sharpshooter but only because Benoit was out cold from a belt shot. The 4 Horseman Ric Flair, Curt Hennig, and Dean Malenko come out and thank Chris Benoit for his past dedication to them. The next night on Nitro Ric Flair decided to bring Jeff Jarrett into the 4 Horseman vowing to be the best set of 4 Horseman ever! The nWo was still battling in a WCW vs The nWo storyline. Hogan beat Luger at Superbrawl to become the #1 contender. Nash and Hall beat Randy Savage and Sting that had no real stipulation. It was just on the show. Bret Hart faced Ric Flair at Superbrawl for the title and retained the big gold belt. Hart was really becoming the face of the company in this time. At Uncensored the card looked strong. Sid Vicious would take on Ric Flair over the fact that Sid thought when he was a 4 Horseman that was the best version of the group. Jarrett was in Flairs corner and Barry Windham was in Sid's. Flair would win after a guitar shot to Sids head. Luger and Sting would face the Outsiders once again to be #1 contenders for the tag titles. Scott Steiner got involved and helped the nWo get the win. Bret Hart took on Hollywood Hogan and thanks to DiBiase Hart had a very hard time. DiBiase was sent to the back after getting on the apron. The ref stopped the match just before Hogan tried a roll up with the distraction. Hogan probably would have won if the match wasn't stopped. When the ref restarted the match Bret managed to get Hogan in a Sharpshooter getting him to tap out. Hart retained in his toughest match to date. Spring Stampede was a good show. Bret Hart would face Jeff Jarrett in the main event. Jeff Jarrett went on to win with a figure 4 after Flair used brass knucks to lay out Hart. Goldberg returned only to run Flair off to the back but it was too late. JJ was the new champion. Lance Storm debuted in June and after Spring Stampede he offered his services to watch Bret Hart's back. Hart told him he didn't want Lance to get involved. Storm didn't take too well to this. He started Team Canada in hopes of getting to the top of WCW. At Slamboree Hogan beat DDP really bad after some DiBiase interference. Hogan was appearing to rely on Ted too much lately it seemed. Sting and Vampiro were now feuding. Vampiro even had the Great Muta help in his efforts as he put Sting away. Masahiro Chono returned to WCW to face Goldberg and lost on Nitro the night after Slamboree in which Goldberg beat Ric Flair. Bret Hart would beat Scott Steiner for the World Title to retain. Hart was becoming one of the hottest names in all of wrestling rivaling Goldberg, Rock, and Steve Austin. Hulk Hogan went on to feud with Billy Kidman after Kidman told DiBiase and Hogan they were washed up cowards backstage at Nitro. Hogan ended up beating Kidman and earned a #1 contender shot on Nitro. Jeff Jarrett challenged Bret Hart again but came up short even after a guitar shot. Sid ran in and chokeslammed Jarrett allowing Hart to retain at the Great American Bash. In the #1 contenders match Booker T, Jeff Jarrett, Ric Flair, Hollywood Hogan, Sid Vicious, and Scott Steiner squared off. Booker T went on to win. The weeks leading up to his match with Hart were tense. Booker T was attacked by a mystery attacker and was replaced by Sid Vicious on the Thunder before Bash at the Beach. At Bash at the Beach Goldberg was to face Lance Storm with the winner being the new #1 contender. Goldberg won after Storm tried the same strategy Hart had used leading up to Starrcade the previous year and failed. Sid Vicious went on to beat Bret Hart and win the title after Sting distracted Hart as a spotlight located him. The ending of the show left many scratching their heads. The new World order was revealed to have been the guy who took out Booker T. On Nitro Sting came down and called out Bret Hart. Sting accused Hart of putting the nWo up to hurting Booker T. Booker T came out and sided with Sting. The nWo came out and they along with Bret beat down the 2 men. Hart then revealed he was in the nWo and the day Hollywood Hogan decides to step away Hart would then be the new leader. They spray painted a yellow streak down Booker T and Stings backs before leaving. At New Blood Rising Sting and Booker T were set to face Bret Hart and Hollywood Hogan. Vampiro would cost Sting and Booker the match. Sid would defend his belt against Randy Savage and DDP. Randy Savage was the guy who was pinned by DDP making Page the new champion. At Fall Brawl things were starting to take shape for Starrcade. DDP was the champ and had a big target on his back. Goldberg, Hogan, Hart, Sting, Booker T, Sid, and Savage were all possible contenders. Bischoff came out and made a 4 way match for the belt with DDP, Goldberg, Booker T, and Bret Hart the main event of Fall Brawl. Hogan would face Sting in a match and Sid would face Savage in a match. The winners of those matches would face each other at Halloween Havoc for a title shot at Starrcade. In the title match at Fall Brawl saw Goldberg winning over Booker T in the 4 way. Hogan beat Sting and Randy Savage beat Sid. Hogan would take on Randy Savage at Mayhem with the stipulation being the winner would face the Champion at Starrcade. Randy Savage looked to be in tip top shape. Bret Hart derailed him though by taking out Savages ankle with a chair while DiBiase distracted the ref. Goldberg came down though and took out Bret Hart. Savage would recover and win with a flying elbow on Hogan. Goldberg took on Diamond Dallas Page for the title at Mayhem and won after 2 spears and a jackhammer finally put Page away. Hollywood Hogan went on to beat Goldberg on Nitro for the title thanks to help from Bret hart leading up to Starrcade. The Starrcade show was shaping up to be one of the best of all time. Vampiro was set to face Sting in a cage match. Goldberg vs Sid vs Jeff Jarrett vs Bret Hart was set. Booker T vs Scott Steiner to be the #1 contender. Hollywood Hogan vs Macho Man Randy Savage for the title. Vampiro beat Sting after Muta blinded Sting thru the cage. Goldberg won the 4 way. Scott Steiner beat Booker T with Bagwells help. Randy Savage once again beat Hollywood Hogan and he was carried off on the shoulders of Lex Luger, DDP, Kidman, and other WCW guys.

juggaloninjalee Posted March 27, 2011 Author Posted March 27, 2011 I'll definitely check it out when you finish it. Did Owen still die? You will have to wait and see.
Tempest Kane Posted March 27, 2011 Posted March 27, 2011 Im hyped for this. Sounds like alot of fun. Im interested to find out if Hogan still had Warrior make a comeback in order to get his win back (In XWF this time of course), did he manage to get Savage to jump? Will XWF become the USPW of RL? With WCW still alive i wonder if the cruiserweight division is still intact with TNA alive and kicking, im almost shocked you had TNA exist at all because i think Jeff would of been pushed in WCW eventualy regardless of Russo to be honest. Maybe TNA took a diffrent focus because it didnt have access to the wealth of cruiserweights found on the open market in the post-WCW world we live in, perhaps they decided to be more Tits and Arse than Total Nonestop Action with a kick ass risque female division at the top end of the company and a nostalgia/cast off heavyweight division to boot. Ill assume with Benoit staying in WCW his incident never happens because of all the success he's having with the Horsemen, Maybe Nancy never leaves Kevin in the first place. I hope Owen made it... jumped ship to TNA to be with his buddy Jeff, had a wonderful career and retired early to spend time with his family. I hope Jake Roberts got sober and became one of the best bookers XWF or TNA ever had. Going back to WCW i hope Vampiro was put over properly by Sting and was able to become a big player, i hope Booker T still had his monster push to the top and became one of the better workers in the industry at that time, i hope that Scott Steiner became the biggest badest heel in WCW before jumping ship to the WWE long enough to hold their newly formed Smackdown brandsplit title, piss off just about everyone and return to WCW with the 'real worlds title' that he refused to send back to WWE and held in WCW for atleast a year before unificating it with the big gold belt after loseing to Ric Flair in his final run. I hope that DDP got his dream to go with the WWE and had a great run vs The Rock, peoples champ vs peoples champ. Id like to see Randy Orton be picked up by WCW instead of WWE, they can still have Cena and have both companys build their futures around their respective blue chipper. I hope JBL still got his run. It would be awesome if somehow by 2005 Beer Money had debuted in WCW under Ric Flairs managment as part of a new Horsemen with Benoit pushed as the focal world champion of the group, Flair in a speaking role only. I hope AJ Styles still ends up in TNA along with Frankie Kazarian. I hope Lance Storm is seen in the same light as Bret Hart after succesfuly debuting in WCW and winning ALL the titles (not just stopping short of the world title as he did inrl), going on to have some amazing matches with just about everyone and becoming a real Canadian Hero, now in the final years of his career leading a faction of canadian's with Edge & Christian over in the WWE. I hope Jericho had an amazing run in the WWE before having some bitter bust up with his wife Stephanie who cheated on him with Triple H ... Jericho dosnt want to go back to WCW, XWF and TNA are too small for him and is now spending his time putting on amazing matchs in Japan becoming a real legend, he should be coming close to been a free agent when the game starts. Kurt Angle should still have the great run he had in WWE right up untill he was fired/let go, id like to see him have taken a hiatus from the industry at the point and is now running WWE's developmental system as its head trainer. I hope Shane Douglas was suprise hit in the WWE this time around and is now a mainstay main eventer in the twilight of his career. Samoa Joe should be in Japan some place been a badass. Rey and Eddie and the rest of the mexican mainstays of WCW i hope decided after all the crap they had to put up with they would return to Mexico and take over CMLL, its now a big time promotion. Batista signed with Hogan's XWF via its reality tv series charting Hogans training camp for aspireing XWF wrestlers. I hope Big show is with him also... I hope Raven becomes the biggest star TNA have. I dont expect any of this stuff to make it into the mod, just some ideas off the top of my head, nothing too crazy.
juggaloninjalee Posted March 28, 2011 Author Posted March 28, 2011 Im hyped for this. Sounds like alot of fun. I'm not wanting to ruin anything yet but some of those are very interesting ideas.
juggaloninjalee Posted March 29, 2011 Author Posted March 29, 2011 I think I am only going to post backstory for WWF, WCW, ECW, and NWA:TNA. Only a little bit of NJPW, AJPW, CMLL, and AAA. Other than that you guys can mold our own backstories for the most part. How much detail would you guys want me to go into for the backstory?
juggaloninjalee Posted March 29, 2011 Author Posted March 29, 2011 So no nWo Sting? Nope the nWo Sting didn't happen in my alt reality as of now. I hated how the fake Sting was used. It was obviously not him but Luger, the other wrestlers, and announcers thought it was him. It bothered me.
Jaysin Posted March 29, 2011 Posted March 29, 2011 Do you have an estimated launch date? Not trying to rush you or anything, just askin
juggaloninjalee Posted March 30, 2011 Author Posted March 30, 2011 Do you have an estimated launch date? Not trying to rush you or anything, just askin No not yet. The 1st one I release will be the 2005 version. I think the title history and going into everyones bio will take the longest part of this.
juggaloninjalee Posted March 31, 2011 Author Posted March 31, 2011 I posted most of the 1997 history for both WWF and WCW in the alternate reality. Much more to come and even a little more in the years 95,96, and 97 to be added.
UnlikelyStory Posted March 31, 2011 Posted March 31, 2011 Got to say, this mod, given the proper time (no point in a rushed release), could be something really special. There has been a real lack of alternative history and alternative real life mods this incarnation (hench my lack of activity for 3 or so years on the boards), but this does look like it could rival great alternative mods of the past. Keep up the good work, and I look forward to reading more and hopefully playing sometime in the future.

The nWo still is the Outsiders, Hogan, DiBiase, and Bagwell. I hope you like what I have posted. I will go back and post more on the previous years. Still have to post the NJPW WCW stuff and AJPW WWF stuff. Also the ECW stuff as well. Monday April 2nd more will be posted. I will also mention how much progress I have made with the data.
