Hashasheen Posted March 25, 2011 Posted March 25, 2011 I'm talking about the C-verse, of course. Rick Law, Jack Bruce, Joey Minnesota, etc... Who could have a Hulkamania moment and been such a huge super-face in their country? Or in another direction, who do you think could have been the Flair? The super-heel hated all. And Rip Chord, Micky Starr and Sam Strong are out of this equation.
Big Roguey Posted March 25, 2011 Posted March 25, 2011 Modern day, I kinda think Faith would be the C-Verse embodiment of Hogan.
TakerNGN74 Posted March 25, 2011 Posted March 25, 2011 He is the only one that I can think of as well. Not sure who the flair would be maybe Jack Bruce if you turned him heel which is normally what I do when I play as SWF. I turn Jack Bruce heel and have him feud with Christian Faith and that my friend equals money (I don't do that feud right away though because you have to build up to it.)
Big Roguey Posted March 25, 2011 Posted March 25, 2011 Maybe Joe Sexy. I see him as 3/5 Rick Rude, 2/5 Ric Flair.
Teh_Showtime Posted March 25, 2011 Posted March 25, 2011 Magnum Kobe as far as Japan is concerned. He has insane mic skills that dont really get used as much as they would on the Western Hemisphere. He is an UBER heel to perfection. Ive always thought about Bruceamania too, should he turn heel that would be interesting but I see more 2005-6 Cena than 80s-90s Hogan
Hashasheen Posted March 26, 2011 Author Posted March 26, 2011 Only Christian Faith and Jack Bruce in North America? No Rick Law, no DeColts or Stones, no Captain USA, no Jim Force, no Plague, etc...? Come on, dudes. I know you've got a bit more creativity in you.
OctoberRaven Posted March 26, 2011 Posted March 26, 2011 Wait, Tommy Cornell isn't the Ric Flair of the C-Verse?
Teh_Showtime Posted March 26, 2011 Posted March 26, 2011 Wait, Tommy Cornell isn't the Ric Flair of the C-Verse? always seen him as more of a Roddy Piper type of heel.
KingEric Posted March 26, 2011 Posted March 26, 2011 My current 1977 game going, I am trying to make Micky Starr the Hogan of the time, Richie Pangrazzio Jr is my Flair, and Angus McCloud my Roddy Piper
Eidenhoek Posted March 26, 2011 Posted March 26, 2011 Well, Sam Strong canonically is pretty much Hulkamania, I think. And given his popularity still even retired, that's obvious. Jack Bruce is the other guy that starts with ridiculous popularity. It's...too easy to get him to 100 across America, then you just send him out for twenty minutes, stand in the ring, and people start rioting for his body or something. Other than that...I dunno. Sure, anyone can get that popular, but...
Guest codey Posted March 26, 2011 Posted March 26, 2011 I think it will be Ant-Man This. The Ant-Man cometh...to the Supreme Challenge!
Self Posted March 26, 2011 Posted March 26, 2011 Edd Stone is the voice of a new generation. He is the Lindsay Lohan of wrestling. No Red, White & Blue hero is going to capture the hearts and minds of the world any more. Edd Stone is the edgy, bad-ass, brand name that will spread to every corner of the globe.

LoganRodzen Posted March 27, 2011 Posted March 27, 2011 I decided to look at the workers in my WCW 2022 game and see who matches the criteria I was looking for (80+ charisma and star quality): USA - Roger Cage Canada - Alex DeColt Mexico - Champagne Lover Japan - Magnum Kobe UK - Tommy Cornell Europe - Louis Figo Manico Australia - Swoop McCarthy All of these guys could have been (at one time or another) the top babyface in their home country due to their excellent charisma and star quality.
Teh_Showtime Posted March 27, 2011 Posted March 27, 2011 Magnum KOBE is going to be the greatest junior wrestler ever if he ever cracks the big time. Sorry Elementals, Optimus, and Sensational Dragon
Comradebot Posted March 27, 2011 Posted March 27, 2011 I decided to look at the workers in my WCW 2022 game and see who matches the criteria I was looking for (80+ charisma and star quality): USA - Roger Cage Canada - Alex DeColt Mexico - Champagne Lover Japan - Magnum Kobe UK - Tommy Cornell Europe - Louis Figo Manico Australia - Swoop McCarthy All of these guys could have been (at one time or another) the top babyface in their home country due to their excellent charisma and star quality. Louis.... Figo... MAAAAANNIIIIIIIICCCOOOOOOOOO!!!!!! Bah, I need to load my EWA game back up. Wish I was able to say the same about a diary with them. And McCarthy always struck me as Australia's version of The Rock. He's just so charismatic, and rocks the ****y gimmicks. It's how I always book him, at least. Captain Wrestling II usually ends up as the "Hulkster" around RAW, as he too is pretty charismatic... but rather boring in ring. Only difference: Hulk Hogan's super-patriotism isn't applied to CWII, as that's "Mr. Australia" Kerry Wayne's big deal. Ahhhh, EWA and RAW... so glad we're so blessed with such amazing companies on opposite ends of the world. One day, EWA, USPW, RAW, CGC, and MPWF (WLW is welcome to come, too... and maybe even WEXXV) will unite and destroy the likes of NOTBPW, PGHW, UEW, TCW, and the other "soulless" companies. A million voices will cry out, as Giant Redwood pins Tommy Cornell... and will be suddenly silenced. No more will the "smart marks" ruin the true glory of wrestling.
