Guest corybluefire Posted March 27, 2011 Posted March 27, 2011 I'm trying to combine the Know Your Role 2.5 with the Cornell Verse. I thought it would be pretty interesting, I already added all the Cornell Verse workers to the database, but can't import the other things. How would I go about doing this?

Sadly, there is no "easy" way. You'd have to manually import everything you wanted from one database into another, and then use the editor to add back in all the stuff that doesn't import like movesets, contracts, relationships, ect.
Guest corybluefire Posted March 27, 2011 Posted March 27, 2011 how long would that take do you think? I was going to play the Know Your Role mod but no new workers are set to debut.
Anggur Merah Posted March 28, 2011 Posted March 28, 2011 Sadly, there is no "easy" way. Aye, aye... Sadly it's true. For my personal mod, I'm in the middle of the attempt to merge the data of Genadi's mod, KYR, and McD's. It's tiring and you have to do multiple review on what you've import and such to eliminate the chances of mistake or double characters. Not to mention re-arranging worker relationship. Phew... In another personal mod, I'm importing some of real-world data into Cornellverse. Same things happened. Of course, I could just import them and play as is. But the degree of realism and game balance just won't do. No other way than taking the hard way to individually supervise the data you're importing. One thing: don't forget to regularly make a backup of your database-on-working. It's vital. Very frustating when the data goes error and your database is rendered useless after that.
