ThexEffect Posted March 27, 2011 Posted March 27, 2011 Not sure if this is possible. But is it possible to buy tew2010 with one of those reloabable credit cards you can buy at walgreens, walmart.. etc? I did some research and found out that some can be used to buy items online.

I did some research and found out that some can be used to buy items online. Probably. Here's the thing: The name and address you give the website need to match what's on the card. A few years ago, my workplace gave out cards (through Bank of America) for $250. You went to the website and entered in your name, address, etc and the card would work online. A little bit after that, someone gave me an American Express card (which won't let you enter your name/address/etc) and it was rejected on every website I tried for information not matching. So, just make sure it goes into your name with your address and you should have no problem at all using it online.
PoisonedSuperman Posted March 28, 2011 Posted March 28, 2011 I used one of those ones that you don't have to register on amazon.com. For the name I just put gift card or something stupid like that.
smartman Posted March 28, 2011 Posted March 28, 2011 Just make sure that the card you get doesn't say that it can't be used online. There are plenty of pre-paid cards that say NOT FOR ONLINE USE on the back of the packaging. That sounds like what happened with that American Express card dormannu as a lot of the Amex cards I've seen are like that. Beyond that, Adam or Arlie would need to chime in on if that would work, or you could ask E-License directly as they're the ones that have the final say.

As an addendum to what you suggested, get ones that expressly state for ONLINE use, and then follow the instructions to register the card online, if there are any.
