majesty95 Posted April 4, 2011 Posted April 4, 2011 I'm starting a collective to be turned into a website at some point. What I want to do is highlight the best fighters in different people's games (and possibly the best promotions). I will compile a list and then rank them on the site for all of the world to see. I will need screenshots (no word of mouth) of the fighter's profile, achievements and fight history. I would prefer retired fighters or fighters at the end of their career. Also, I think we shold have a minimum fight requirement, say 15. Once compiled and listed, I will feature them on the site with your name and which mod (if apllicable) you used. I want to do this to help add to the replay value of the game, to give you guys a chance to highlight your fighters, give props to the mod makers and some pub to Adam and Grey Dog. Who's first? (This is different from the "Profile your fighter" thread as that thread can be any fighter and includes bios and wiki style reports. Those fighters also also aren't ranked. You can, however, list your fighter both places if you like.)
majesty95 Posted April 5, 2011 Author Posted April 5, 2011 Hmm...thought this would generate more interest...
majesty95 Posted April 5, 2011 Author Posted April 5, 2011 To recap, the site will rank the best fighters from your games. I'm thinking I will do at least a Top 25 when we have enough, but we can expand. This could get expanded to top users, top promotions, top mods, etc. Nobody else like the idea?
Acidburned Posted April 6, 2011 Posted April 6, 2011 I think it's a good idea but I am playing the real world 1993 game and my only good regen has lost loads of fights lately. So although he was the best in the world 10 years a go he is a shadow of his former self.

So although he was the best in the world 10 years a go he is a shadow of his former self. Ken Shamrock, Royce Gracie, Sakuraba...they all turned into a shadow of their former selves. I'm not opposed to including real world fighters. We could possibly split them into two groups, a Cornell list and a real world list...
