Workers return post-leaving wrestling business?

Do the workers ever return (aside from potentially owning companies they can inherit)? Or am I best off going into the data and changing them to "on-hiatus"? Please help.... Thank you!

Workers set to have "left the business" will never return actively to the business. Workers set to "on hiatus" might return at some point. So as you've already said, if you want someone to potentially return you'd be best changing them to be on hiatus otherwise they'll never come back.
