Jeff-Davis Posted April 9, 2011 Posted April 9, 2011 Now that Bobinc isnt working is their a site the has the different mods and pic packs?
TakerNGN74 Posted April 9, 2011 Posted April 9, 2011 There isnt one currently but I am sure that someone will do something.
joehelmer Posted April 9, 2011 Posted April 9, 2011 Is down. Wow, that was quick. I was on it yesterday.
TakerNGN74 Posted April 9, 2011 Posted April 9, 2011 Yeah before I made my post earlier in this thread I checked to see if TEW Central was still up and when it wasn't that is why I said what I said in my origional post.
Clp605 Posted April 9, 2011 Posted April 9, 2011 Well.... crap I was just going to go there and get the Know Your Role mod since I was wanting a break from the C-Verse. Isn't their another site too? I thought one was up with TEW Central at about the same time.
LoganRodzen Posted April 9, 2011 Posted April 9, 2011 Having a nice fancy looking site is great and all, but what GDS really needs is just one thread (that's pinned or bumped daily) that includes every single mod ever made (uploaded to third party sites). Genadi's thread "Mission Statement" is a perfect example of this, but only for RW mods. I ran TEW-ONLINE when TEW2004 originally came out and it was used A LOT by members of the community. I had every single mod, pic pack, skin pack, etc. (heck, even the INSTALL file) uploaded to my own personal server that I paid for and had (what felt like) unlimited space. This allowed people to DL extremely fast, but it also cost me an arm and a leg to keep up with... plus the actual time it takes to do maintenance. I hope Warrior of Truth continues his goal of creating a TEW web site because his ideas are pretty cool. I just hope he's able to implement them the way he wants to.

I agree with this 100% if there was a thread we could go to with all of the Mods and stuff in it then there wouldn't be a reason to have a site up that has the exact same stuff on it.
