~Pre-Show~

Erik Watts defeats Squire Dave Taylor

The Armstrongs defeat Bunkhouse Buck and “Dirty” Dick Slater

~Main Show~

Sting promo (100!)

The show opens with Sting standing in the center of the ring holding a microphone. The WCW World Title is slung over his shoulder and a look of intense anger is on his face.

Sting: Ric! When are you going to learn? If you want another shot at MY world championship all you have to do is ask. I mean really Ric, the Stinger doesn’t back away from a fight so why do you feel the need stoop to pathetic mind games Ric? Mind games I can see right through I might add…I mean come on Ric, the Black Scorpion…as if that idea was a winner the first time you tried it.

I’ll tell you what Ric. After I beat your “chosen wrestler” *cough* Arn Anderson *cough* then I’ll give you a butt kicking twice as bad on Saturday Slam! And if any of the other members of your little Saddle Club want a piece of me, well I know a few guys in the back who definitely have the Stinger’s back.

Vader defeated JYD (71)

4 Horsemen Promo (92)

Ric lets the world know he isn’t the Black Scopion but he will be glad to face Sting one more time. Arn chimes in to say he isn’t Sting’s opponent tonight but on Saturday Slam he would be glad to join Ric and Paul in meeting Sting and his “friends” in the ring. Dean tells Sting he is lucky that on Slam he has a match with Dustin Rhodes because even Sting would tap to a Texas Cloverleaf. Paul tells Dean that if he is eager to fight then he can have his spot against The Varsity Club because he has other business to attend to.

Eddy Guerrero defeat Chris Benoit (83)

Harlem Heat Promo (71)

Harlem Heat come out and say that they demand an explanation from The Road Warriors. They say that the Road Warriors didn’t just turn their backs on them but on all the fans who ever cheered them on and if they won’t give them an explanation willingly then they will beat one out of Hawk and Animal.

Dean Malenko and Arn Anderson defeat The Varsity Club (79)

Backstage Paul Wight attacks Paul Orndorff (96)

Wight grabs Orndorff by the throat and slams him on the concrete floor in the hallway area. Before walking off, Wight tells Orndorff to stay the heck out of his life!

Harlem Heat defeated Big and Bad after The Road Warriors attacked Harlem Heat (64)

Ron Simmons challenges Paul Wight (91)

Ron comes out and tells Paul he needs to respect the guys who paved the way for punks like him. He says what Wight did to Orndorff was not only uncalled for but showed a complete lack of respect…something Ron would be glad to beat into Wight tonight!

Ron Simmons defeats Paul Wight by DQ after Wight used a steel chair on Ron (82)

Ric Flair defeats Jim Duggan (81)

Sting defeats “The Scorpion Warrior” by DQ after The Black Scorpion attacked him during the match (83)

The Black Scorpion gloats (95)

The Black Scorpion tells Sting that he can attack him at any time he wants. He also says that he will not rest until Sting is put out of wrestling just like Sting did to him!

Final Grade: 84 with a 8.17 tv rating

Pro Wrestling Insider Report

Missing Wrestler: Christopher Daniels

After making a huge impact on both Monday Nitro and Saturday Slam with wins over then Drive Champion Lord Steven Regal, Christopher Daniels was absent from both Clash of the Champions XXXII and the following nights Monday Nitro. What appeared to be the start of a huge push for Christopher appears to be fizzling out. Some insiders are claiming a refusal to adopt a less ariel style is the reason behind the sudden dissapearence.

Terry Gerin defeats Brad Armstrong! (54)

Terry was already in the ring as the show started. Brad came out and ignored Terry, instead waving to the crowd of Ten Thousand WCW fans. As the bell rang, Brad turned around and Terry ran through him with a huge spear. Terry got back up and began thumping his chest before helping Brad to his feet. When both men were vertical Terry lifted Brad up on his left shoulder before quickly dropping him down into a seated pile driver. Terry made the cover and got the three count for the win.

Bobby Heenan is impressed by Terry Gerin (62)

Bobby Heenan rushes down to the ring to the shock of both Mike Tenay and Tony Schiavone. Heenan grabs a mic near ringside and walks over to Terry Gerin who was about to make his way out of the ring.

Bobby Heenan: Don’t be in such a rush buddy. I think I got an offer you won’t be able to refuse. First off, let me just say what I witnessed here I have never seen before in my entire life. Not since Andre the Giant has a man possessed the presence that you have my friend. I mean look at you…it’s like you’re the Ninth Wonder of the World. Now then let me tell you this, when I signed my contract to become an announcer for WCW I had a clause put into it. The clause states that at anytime I see a wrestling worth my time I can choose to have my announcer contract ended and become a manager once again. For two years I sat next to those two insipid morons thinking I would never see anyone worth the time of The Brain but it appears I was wrong. So what I am saying is this…your raw potential tempered plus my years of managerial experience…What do you say?

Terry Gerin doesn’t open his mouth, instead he looks Heenan over before extending his hand in acceptance of Heenan’s offer. Heenan raises both their hands before walking Terry to the back and rejoining his collegues to finish his last broadcast for WCW.

Harlem Heat defeat The Midnight Express by DQ! (68)

Booker T and Stan Lane started things off with some quick back and forth action culminating with Stan giving Booker a dropkick that sent Booker over the top rope and to the outside. Outside the ring Bobby Eaton worked over Booker as the ref held Stevie Ray back and Stan make several mocking gestures. Eaton tossed Booker back in and Stan worked him over in the corner as Eaton landed a few cheap shots. Booker looked to be on his last leg when he was able to slip out of a body slam and nail Stan Lane with a atomic drop. As Booker inched his way to Stevie Ray The Road Warriors hit the ring and attacked both members of Harlem Heat causing the DQ.

The Road Warriors reveal the reason behind the “change” in attitude! (68)

Hawk and Animal grab mics from nearby as medical staff rush to check on Harlem Heat.

Hawk: Why? Why? Why? That is all we have heard for the past week and a half. Why did you and Animal attack Harlem Heat? Why did you and Animal turn your backs on the fans? Why did you and Animal become bad guys?

Animal: The answers to those questions are real simple and they all come from the same place. However, Hawk and I are not going to answer those or any other questions…so if you really want answers then I suggest you talk to the brains behind the muscle…our new, ahem, old manager…Paul Ellering!

From out of the back walks “Prescious” Paul Ellering. He is holding a mic in one hand and a cane in the other. Paul walks up the rings steps and stands in front of the Road Warriors.

http://i172.photobucket.com/albums/w15/TheWho87EWR/Wrestlers/P_Images/Paul_Ellering.jpg

Paul: You people make us sick! Behind me stand two forces of nature who answer to no one and you dare ask of them why. Did you people complain when they man handled every team back in the old Jim Crockett Promotions? Did you people complain when they ran over anyone the suits in New York placed across the ring from them? What they did to Harlem Heat they have done hundreds of times before…The Road Warriors haven’t turned on you…You turned on them! So go ahead and boo these two, but as history has shown, Nothing can stop the Road Warriors!

Eddy Guerrero defeats Disco Inferno! (76)

As we come back from commercial break Eddy and Disco are in the ring circling one another waiting for the bell to ring. The bell rings and Disco and Eddy trade arm drags before Eddy nails Disco with a picture perfect standing drop kick. Eddy plays things up for the cheering crowd and Disco attacks him from behind. Disco keeps Eddy off balance with some cheap tactics until Eddy is able to reverse a suplex into one of his own. Eddy keeps the move held in and rolls his hips getting them both back up and landing another suplex. Eddy rolls his way up and hits a third suplex with Bobby Heenan quipping it was Eddy’s Three Amigos. Eddy then climbs up to the top turnbuckle and lands a huge Frog Splash for the pin.

Sting is assaulted by the Scorpion Warrior! (98)

Sting is making his way to the ring when the lights go out. The lights come back on and the Black Scorpion is standing inside the ring. Sting drops his title and runs over to the ring but as he nears it the Scorpion Warrior comes out from under the ring and attacks Sting with a chair. Sting lays unconscious as the Black Scorpion walks out of the ring and picks up Sting’s title before he and The Scorpion Warrior walk to the back.

Dean Malenko with Kimberly defeats Dustin Rhodes to retain the U. S. Championship! (80)

Dustin shows up to the match without his father Dusty Rhodes and the announcers note that Dustin was accusing his father of costing him the U. S. Title. Dustin and Dean went back and forth briefly before Dean took control of the match. Dean used his superior technical knowledge to keep Dustin on the defensive and it wasn’t long before Dustin was once again tapping out to the Texas Clover Leaf.

The Scorpion Warrior defeated Paul Orndorff! (70)

The Scorpion Warrior took the fight right to Paul Orndorff. During the match the Scorpion Warrior used a similar offense to Sting, including utilizing several Stinger Splashes in the corner. The match ended when the Scorpion Warrior hooked Orndorff in a Scorpion Death Lock and Paul tapped out.

The Road Warriors with Paul Ellering defeat the American Males! (62)

In a complete squash affair the Road Warriors ran right through the American Males. The match ended with a Doomsday Device on Scotty Riggs as Marcus Bagwell looked on from outside the ring.

The Road Warriors demand a challenge! (72)

Paul Ellering enters the ring with a mic in his hand.

Paul: I told you nothing can stop these two behemoths! Now, since my boys didn’t get a proper work out why don’t you send out two more victims for them to tear apart?

The Road Warriors with Paul Ellering defeat the Animal Alliance! (71)

When we get back from commercial break, Koko and JYD answer the challenge to a huge pop. Koko and JYD put up a better fight than the American Males but not by much. Koko is manhandled by Hawk on the outside as Animal beats JYD down in the ring. JYD eventually gets hit with a power slam from Animal before getting pinned.

http://i172.photobucket.com/albums/w15/TheWho87EWR/Wrestlers/KyKy/S%20Images/Sting66.jpghttp://i40.photobucket.com/albums/e209/uwfsteele2k6/Wrestling/steelesimmons2.jpghttp://i172.photobucket.com/albums/w15/TheWho87EWR/Wrestlers/KyKy/J%20Images/Jim_Duggan.jpg

Sting, Ron Simmons, and Jim Duggan can’t wait for the main event! (83)

We cut to the back were we see Sting, Ron Simmons, and Jim Duggan standing around in their locker room. Sting is holding his back as Duggan waves the flag and Ron looks menacing.

Sting: Nice one Ric! You caught me by surprise out there. Not only that but you took my title…good for you Ric. Now, you can continue this charade as the Black Scorpion all you want but I’ll be damned if you’re getting another title shot out of it. In fact Ric…I refuse to face you one on one for my WCW World Championship until you admit you’re the Black Scorpion and end this garbage. I told you on Nitro I had friends who had my back…and as you can see, I wasn’t telling stories. Tonight the three of us are going to kick your little saddle club’s collective butt and then I will drag your body to your locker room and show the entire world that you have my title and you are the Black Scorpion!

Jim Duggan, Sting, and Ron Simmons defeat the 4 Horsemen! (78)

Sting and Arn start things off with Sting whipping Arn into his corner and nailing a Stinger Splash. Sting then gives a “Stinger Woo” to the crowd when the Turner Tron lights up with the face of the Black Scorpion. Sting sees it and walks over to the near ropes as Arn tags in Paul Wight. Paul nails Sting in the back and then puts Sting into his own corner. Ron makes a blind tag and takes the fight to Paul. Sting gets out of the ring and we see The Scorpion Warrior on the entrance ramp with the World Title. Sting looks at the ring where Ron is getting beat up by Paul and then back at the Scorpion Warrior. Sting takes off after the Scorpion Warrior leaving Jim and Ron to fend for themselves. We see the Scorpion Warrior go back behind the curtain followed by Sting, meanwhile Jim gets the tag and is clearing house with wild hay maker punches. Ron takes Paul Wight and Power Slams him outside on the concrete as Ric slides in behind Duggan and nails him with a low blow. Ron slides into the ring and nails Ric with a DDT as Armn makes a pin but only gets a two count. Arn gets Duggan up and goes for a Spine Buster but Duggan gets out of the move and nails Arn with a forearm that causes Arn to stumble back. Duggan then lands a 3 Point Lariat before pinning Arn for the win!

Sting is laid out…again! (100!)

We see a shot of the parking lot area where Sting is laying on the floor out cold. The camera pans back and we see Vader standing over Sting holding a metal pipe with an evil look on his face.

Pro Wrestling Insider Interview: WCW President Bill Watts

Recently I got a chance to sit down and talk one on one with WCW’s reclusive President of Operations Bill Watts. We discussed the current state of WCW, WWF, and wrestling in general. We also covered his son Erik Watts and the fan backlash to his position in WCW. Bill also gave us some insight into his plans for the near future. It was both eye opening and refreshingly honest to say the least.

PWI: First off, let me say thank you for agreeing to do this interview with us Mr. Watts. I am sure you are a very busy man and both myself and the fans appreciate this more than you could ever know.

Bill Watts: Ha, ha. You flatter me boy. Truth is, ever since I took the reins of WCW I been meaning to sit down with one of you boys from PWI and let a few things off my chest.

PWI: If we could start off with a touchy subject…What are your thoughts on the backlash your son Erik Watts has received from the wrestling fans around the country.

Bill Watts: Wow…I was expecting you to get to that but not so soon. First off let’s go ahead and call a spade a spade. I am the president of WCW so it goes without saying that I have some pull. Now, did I do for my son what any promoter on this planet would do for his children…yes. I gave my son an opportunity that he would not have had if I were a plumber or a teacher or something other than what I am but for the fans to have so much hate and venom for him…it’s plain uncalled for. I mean it goes beyond heat and into pure hate. I find it so funny that over in Canada Stu’s boys {ed. Note: the Stu in question is Stu Hart} are headlining his promotion and not a single person cares that they are only there because Stu runs the place. Back in World Class, the Von Erich clan were who they were because Fritz ran the damn company. I’ll admit Erik is a little more green than some of those boys, but if the fans would look past the fact he is my son they might find out he’s a pretty decent wrestler and a heck of a nice guy. Fact is, being my son gave Erik an opportunity not a guarantee.

PWI: Fair enough. If we could discuss WCW as a whole, some fans are saying WCW has gone backward in terms of the style of wrestling you’re presenting.

Bill Watts: I would have to agree to that, but with a but…You see we have gone back to our roots but if you ask me it is a style of wrestling that is truer to what this sport was built on than anything out there right now. If you take a look at some of the smaller companies, they seem to be doing all these stunts and acrobatic moves that no one would believe you could pull off in a real life situation. Did you ever see someone get into a fight and stand there waiting as another guy leapt at them from off a twenty foot ladder? Or have you seen one guy run back and forth before dropping a weak looking elbow on a guy?

PWI: No, I haven’t. To be fair though, you employ several Lucha Libre and cruiserweight style wrestlers in WCW.

Bill Watts: Actually…we don’t. Take a quick look at a WCW match featuring what you would say are cruiserweight or Lucha Libre guys and take a look at another companies…you’ll see that in WCW our guys don’t use some of the more flamboyant moves willy nilly and instead build up to those moves like any other wrestler employed by us would. When was the last time you saw Eddy Guerrero perform eight head scissors in a row followed by six planchas? If it was a WCW match the answer is never.

PWI: What about the fact that your main competitor, WWF, is moving into a direction some are calling “sports entertainment?”

Bill Watts: Frankly I don’t think much of it. If Vince and his boys in New York want to stop being wrestlers and start becoming sports entertainers why should I care? All it is doing is letting the fans know that if they want to see actual wrestling, then WCW is the only place to see it. That’s all I’m going to say about that.

PWI: Speaking of “real wrestling” I have heard somewhere that you do not like the Paul Heyman run ECW one bit.

Bill Watts: ECW in my opinion is a joke. Now, I watched a few tapes and even went to a live show once to scout talent and believe me there are some great wrestlers in that company, but the overall focus seems to be on violence for the sake of violence and sexual innuendo. The current ECW Champion Konnan, gives promos where he tells other men to “toss his salad and peel his potatoes.” Who does that appeal to? Now, if ECW was a fringe group then I wouldn’t even bother mentioning them, but because there is talk of ECW making it a Big 3 instead of a Big 2…well, I feel the need to set things straight. ECW is like a R Rated movie, sure they are enjoyable but I’ll be damned if I’m taking my kids to see them. However, unlike movies where people can make the distinction between R Rated and PG, and G in wrestling we all get lumped together. If ECW is violent and sexually perverse…then we all must be and that is why I don’t like ECW.

PWI: You mentioned ECW had a few “great wrestlers” would you care to mention some names?

Bill Watts: Sure, but forgive if any of these guys have moved on since last time I saw an ECW tape. First off, there is Cactus Jack. He’s a great speaker, a heck of a worker, and he got that “IT” factor that you don’t see in many people. Now, it’s true when he worked for WCW him and I couldn’t agree on some issues, particularly the idea that Cactus wanted to up the level of violence in his attacks, but I still think he’s one heck of a wrestler. Another talent they have is Rob Van Damn, who unfortunately chose to be in ECW rather than work for us. No hard feelings though, that is his choice. Two more guys who I feel could be big are Rey Misterio Jr. and Juventud Guerrera. Both guys are young, fast, and hard workers.

PWI: What about the WWF? Is there anyone in the WWF right now that you feel would be a great fit in WCW?

Bill Watts: One guy I would to love to get in WCW is “Nature Boy” Buddy Landell. I remember when Landell wrestled Flair and it broke Elvis’ attendance record for the Dorten Arena. Other than him though, no one stands out right now.

PWI: Is there any future plans for WCW that you can share with us?

Bill Watts: Well, I was going to save it for Nitro but I guess I can go ahead and get it out right now. Starting this very moment, I vow to put back the emphasis on wrestling in the wrestling business. What that means is this, you’re no longer going to order a 3 Hour Long PPV for $29.95 and see 1 Hour of wrestling. From this point forward, every WCW PPV, Super Card, Mega Event, or what have you will be at least…90% wrestling! I figure we can put all those interviews, hype videos, and promos on our Free televised shows and let you get a real, old fashion, Wrestling experience whenever you have to pay for it.

PWI: WOW! Thanks for this opportunity Bill and I for one am looking forward to your next WCW PPV and all the wrestling action you’re promising.

<strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;">The 4 Horsemen demand to know who are Sting’s partners!</span></strong> (100!)</p></div><p></p><p></p><p>

<em>As the show opens up we see all four members of the 4 Horsemen inside the ring alongside Kimberly. Each man has a mic in hand and they all look slightly pissed.</em></p><p> </p><p>

<strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;">Ric</span></strong>: You hear that crowd Sting? Richmond Virgin is definitely…Ric Flair Country…Woo! Now before I get to tonight’s main event, let me just say this Sting…I told ya so! Iiiiiiiii told you that the Nature Boy Ric Flair was not the Black Scorpion and by gum, last week when he showed up on the big screen during our match I think he proved my point for me. Now I don’t expect you to apologize Sting but, I do expect you to drop this issue and move on to defending the WCW World Championship against Ric Flair…woo!</p><p> </p><p>

Now…as far as tonight’s concerned…I doesn’t matter who you choose to partner up with because the 4 Horsemen can take them. We can beat any four wrestlers in the back at any time! You see Sting, we are the Elite…the upper echelon of the wrestling world, and you my friend…are not. I will say this though, just out of sheer curiosity…why don’t you come out here and tell me what three losers you actually managed to convince to tag with you…come on Sting.</p><p> </p><p>

<strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;">Arn</span></strong>: I hate to interrupt ya Ric, but ol double A has a few things he needs to get off his chest. Last week I told you I wasn’t the Scorpion Warrior. I told you Ric wasn’t the Black Scorpion. Did you listen to me Sting? …No! Because the one thing you never do is listen. You run your mouth, flex your biceps, smile at the camera, but you sure as heck don’t ever listen. Right now though Sting…what you need to do is just that, because I want you to know something. We might not be in cahoots with the Black Scorpion but we still aren’t your buddies. We are the 4 Horsemen and that means we do what we want, when we want, to who we want. Now you might not think so, but the fact of the matter is this…it’s only a matter of time before that title of yours is around one of our waist.</p><p> </p><p>

<strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;">Paul</span></strong>: Sting…I hope you went out and got the biggest, baddest, meanest bastard you could find because that way when I whoop him from one end of the ring to the other I might actually break a sweat. You see, what you have here is the largest athlete in the world, and I know you don’t have a single friend that is up to the challenge of taking this giant off his beanstalk!</p><p> </p><p>

<strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;">Dean</span></strong>: Sting…unlike my compatriots I’m not a man of many words. I don’t bother talking up myself, because my unmatched skill in the ring does that well enough for me. If you step into the ring with me, you will feel the same thing all my opponents feel…the bitter sting of defeat.</p><p> </p><p>

<em>The 4 Horsemen make the Horsemen sign as the segment ends and we go to the announce booth to hear from the announcers.</em></p><p> </p><p>

<strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;">Sting reveals his first partner!</span></strong> (100!)</p></div><p></p><p></p><p>

<em>We come back from break to a shot of Sting in his locker room area.</em></p><p> </p><p>

<strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;">Sting</span></strong>: Ric…still trying to sell polished turds? I’m not the Black Scorpion…I’m NOT the Black Scorpion…I’M NOT THE BLACK SCORPION!!! Well, I aint buying it. You see Ric, after wrestling and watching him wrestle…I know only two men could have taught the Scorpion Warrior those moves…my moves. The obvious answer for choice number one is me Ric, but fact is I never taught anyone my moves. Now you, you have been in the ring with me as both friend and foe. We have fought tooth and nail more times than you have held world championships. The only one who knows me better than myself is you Ric. So how hard would it be for you to teach some young kid like Malenko my moves and slap a mask on him and start calling him the Scorpion Warrior? He was absent from ringside during our match.</p><p> </p><p>

Now, lets move on to tonight’s main event. You see, I know who my partners are Ric, but you don’t. For the first time in our little feud I’m playing the head game and you’re left wondering, what the heck is Sting thinking? Well, Ric I won’t tell you what I’m thinking…I’ll show you…</p><p> </p><p>

</p><div style="text-align:center;"><span>http://i159.photobucket.com/albums/t143/Viper_Ultimatesinner/rick_steiner.jpg</span></div><p></p><p></p><p> </p><p>

<strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;">Sting</span></strong>: My first partner is none other than Rick Steiner!</p><p> </p><p>

<strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;">Rick</span></strong>: Flair you have to step into the ring with the DFG, and that ten pounds of horse apples stuffed into that five pound bag called Paul Wight won’t be able to help you! Hawoof…hawoof. You want some? Come get some. If you don’t like me, bite me.</p><p> </p><p>

</p><div style="text-align:center;"><span>http://i687.photobucket.com/albums/vv237/Mukan_no_Teioh/La_Mascara.jpg</span><span>http://i687.photobucket.com/albums/vv237/Mukan_no_Teioh/Orochi.jpg</span><span style="font-size:36px;"><em><strong>VS</strong></em></span><span>http://i232.photobucket.com/albums/ee97/Gsquared_2007/AWA/Marcus_Bagwell.jpg</span><span>http://i224.photobucket.com/albums/dd233/StevenRichardsRules/Scotty_Riggs.jpg</span><p> </p><p>

<strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;">The Oni Warriors defeat the American Males!</span></strong> (54)</p></div><p></p><p></p><p>

Marcus and Kiyomori {the one wearing gold} started things off. Kiyomori pulloff some quick moves that threw Bagwell off balance and soon Kiyomori and Orochi were making a series of quick tags that saw Bagwell suffer numerous double team moves, including twin super kicks and enziguris. Scotty Riggs eventually got into the ring but he received a shining wizard that left him out on his feet. Kiyomori lifted Riggs up in suplex position while Orochi climbed the top turnbuckle. Orochi leapt off the top rope and spiked Riggs down into a tombstone pile driver like move for the win.</p><p> </p><p>

<em>We come back from break to a shot of Sting in his locker room area once again.</em></p><p> </p><p>

<strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;">Sting</span></strong>: We got one out of the way Ric, how about we make it two? Or are you still reeling from the revelation that I do indeed have some friends beyond Ron and Duggan? The second member of Team Sting is…</p><p> </p><p>

I don't really mind at all. I am weird like that when it comes to C-Verse diaries I would rather them have graphics but in regards to real world diaries I am fine if they do not. Nobby's TNA diary has limited graphics and it is still a great read.

I guess what it boils down to is what do you think would be the best course of action and go from there.

<strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;">Eddy Guerrero defeats Squire David Taylor!</span></strong> (78)</p><p>

The match was full of back and forth action that helped set the tone for the entire night. Eddy once again used the 3 Amigos Suplex before landing his trademark Frog Splash which the crowd seemed to love.</p><p> </p><p>

<strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;">Black Scorpion Speaks!</span></strong> (93)</p><p>

<em>The Black Scorpion is in an unknown location, standing in front of a bunch of WCW action figures. He lifts the Sting action figure up and separates it from the other figures. He then turns to the camera and begins to speak.</em></p><p> </p><p>

<strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;">Black Scorpion</span></strong>: Sting…after seeing what you were able to accomplish on Nitro I believe I finally figured out the source of your…power. You see Sting, I now realize that it is your friends and the fans who give you strength. They are the ones who grant you the power to overcome any foe, any adversary, any challenge. If I am to be rid of you, I first must rid you of them. Tonight, my Scorpion Warrior shall make the first move in destroying one of your allies because he is going to leave Chris Benoit a crippled shell of his former self! After what your friends see what is done to Chris, I am not sure you will have anyone who wants to be your friend! Ha, ha, ha!</p><p> </p><p>

~commercial break~</p><p> </p><p>

<strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;">The Oni Warriors defeat the Armstrongs!</span></strong> (58)</p><p>

The Oni Warriors are too fast for the Armstrongs and neither Steve nor Brad is able to get in much offense. The match ends when Steve is put into the Oni Driver as Brad watches with a look of disgust.</p><p> </p><p>

<strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;">Sting talks to Benoit!</span></strong> (94)</p><p>

<em>Backstage we see Chris Benoit taping his fist up as Sting walks into the room.</em></p><p> </p><p>

<strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;">Sting</span></strong>: Chris…we need to talk.</p><p> </p><p>

<strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;">Benoit</span></strong>: What’s on your mind Stinger?</p><p> </p><p>

<strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;">Sting</span></strong>: You heard what the Black Scorpion said…you don’t have to go out there tonight. You don’t need to get yourself crippled on behalf.</p><p> </p><p>

<strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;">Benoit</span></strong>: Sting…I was scheduled to compete and that is what I’m going to do. If you’re really worried about me then why don’t you come down to ringside and make sure I don’t wind up a cripple?</p><p> </p><p>

<strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;">Sting</span></strong>: Nothing could keep me away!</p><p> </p><p>

<em>Bobby Heenan gets into the ring after the match and asks for a mic.</em></p><p> </p><p>

<strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;">Heenan</span></strong>: Take a good look at this man. No…this beast! After all that is what he is, a beast the likes of which no one in WCW could overcome! This man-beast shall rule the WCW and before long he will be wearing the World Championship!</p><p> </p><p>

<strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;">Ric Flair and Arn Anderson defeat The Varsity Club!</span></strong> (80)</p><p>

Ric and Arn are able to defeat Steiner and Rotunda using a mixture of dirty tricks and cheap tactics. Arn unloads a huge Spine Buster on Steiner as Ric made Rotunda tap out to the Figure Four Leg Lock.</p><p> </p><p>

<strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;">Stevie Ray is taken out!</span></strong> (73)</p><p>

<em>Backstage we see Stevie Ray walking over to the catering table as Booker ducks into a nearby bathroom. The Road Warriors show up and begin to beat Stevie down with lead pipes, focusing on Stevie’s left leg. Booker T rushes out of the bathroom and the Road Warriors stare him down before a group of WCW security officers rush the scene and keep everyone back.</em></p><p> </p><p>

<strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;">Dean Malenko defeats Hector Guerrero!</span></strong> (80)</p><p>

The match was fast paced with the announcers making note of the fact that Hector is Eddy’s older brother. Hector had the match all but won with a Gory Special until Kimberly distracted the ref allowing Paul Wight to come out from the back and nail Hector with a big boot and then a Choke Slam. Dean then hooked the semi-conscious Hector in a Texas Clover Hold for the win.</p><p> </p><p>

<strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;">Eddy makes the save!</span></strong> (88)</p><p>

<em>After the match is over Dean and Paul begin to stomp on Hector. Dean lifted Hector up to his feet and it looked like Paul might go for another Choke Slam when Eddy Guerrero came running from the back with a chair in hand. Eddy cleared the ring before checking on his brother. As Paul and Dean walked to the back Eddy kept his eyes on the pair with a look of intense anger.</em></p><p> </p><p>

<strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;">Texas Justice defeat Bunkhouse Buck and “Dirty” Dick Slater!</span></strong> (57)</p><p>

Dustin was able to keep up with the wily veterans but Erik seemed to be out of his league. As Dustin and Buck fought on the outside Slater accidentally hit the ref with a lariat that took the ref off his feet. Dick then took of his belt and wrapped it around his fist preparing to nail a woozy Erik, who was trying to get to his feet, with the buckle. Suddenly, a huge looking guy in a cowboy outfit ran into the ring and nailed Slater with a big boot, taking Slater down. The “cowboy” then lifted Slater up to his feet before performing a Stalling Brain Buster on Slater. The “cowboy” then rolled out of the ring and Erik got to his feet and made the cover on Slater unaware of what happened.</p><p> </p><p>

<strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;">The Scorpion Warrior defeats Chris Benoit!</span></strong> (82)</p><p>

Chris took the fight right to the Scorpion Warrior but he was unable to deal with the constant distractions from the Black Scorpion. Soon the Scorpion Warrior had Chris locked in a Scorpion Death Lock to pick up the win, Sting nowhere in sight.</p><p> </p><p>

~commercial break~</p><p> </p><p>

<strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;">Sting and Ron Simmons defeat The Midnight Express!</span></strong> (85)</p><p>

Ron and Sting used their power to take Stan Lane and Bobby Eaton off their games. Sting and Ron worked great as a unit however, halfway through the match Sting went after the Black Scorpion who appeared at ringside with his world title belt in hand. Ron went for a tag only to realize Sting was gone. Ron finished the match and was barely able to pull off a win after Stan was given a Power Slam and Bobby received a stiff lariat. After the bell rang Ron looked around for Sting but was left scratching his head in the ring as the show ended.</p><p> </p><p>

<strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;">Vader claims to have proof of his innocence!</span></strong> (95)</p><p>

<em>Vader is in the middle of the ring with a mic in hand as the show opens up.</em></p><p> </p><p>

<strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;">Vader</span></strong>: Sting, last week you were laid out and I know you and all these people believe that it was me who did it, but the fact remains I didn’t attack you. Now, I will admit I headed to that parking lot with the intention to lay you out, but the fact remains someone beat me to it…</p><p> </p><p>

<em>Sting’s music hits the PA system and Sting walks out with a slight swagger and a mic in hand.</em></p><p> </p><p>

<strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;">Sting</span></strong>: Big…Van…Vader! Ever since you stepped foot into WCW you have been laying people out. Strike that Vader…you have been laying ME out! Now last week, I was assaulted from behind, but when I came to I did see the footage…the footage of YOU standing over me holding a lead pipe. Yet you come out here trying to profess your innocence…give me a break Vader.</p><p> </p><p>

<strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;">Vader</span></strong>: Now hold on just a minute Sting. Think about what you just said. I have laid you out time and time again. I freely admit that now…and I did so when it happened. Why would I suddenly want to hide the fact that I laid you out? Because I didn’t do it!</p><p> </p><p>

<strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;">Sting</span></strong>: Maybe…or maybe the Black Scorpion is pulling your strings and this is another one of his mind games. Although, you claim to have proof, right? So Vader, let’s see your proof.</p><p> </p><p>

<strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;">Vader</span></strong>: Take a look at the Turner-Tron Sting and see for yourself what went down last week…</p><p> </p><p>

<em>The camera pans over to the Turner-Tron and we see Sting run out to the parking area. As Sting looks around for the Scorpion Warrior we see a pipe slam into Sting from behind then the scene jumps to Sting laying on the floor and Vader walking into the shot. Vader picks up the pipe and looks down at the fallen Sting as the screen goes black before zooming out to Vader and Sting in the arena.</em></p><p> </p><p>

<strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;">Sting</span></strong>: Well, that really clears things up doesn’t it?</p><p> </p><p>

<strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;">Vader</span></strong>: What the…What happened top the tape? I swear to you Sting there was more on that tape. I don’t know who tampered with it but I will get to the bottom of it before the night is over…</p><p> </p><p>

<strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;">Sting</span></strong>: sure you will Vader…sure you will.</p><p> </p><p>

<em>Sting walks off as a confused Vader is left in the ring pacing back and forth</em></p><p> </p><p>

<strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;">Eddy Guerrero defeats Meng!</span></strong> (78)</p><p>

Eddy played the underdog babyface role as Meng used his size to keep Eddy grounded for most of the match. The match finished when Eddy hit his 3 Amigos followed by the Frog Splash for the win.</p><p> </p><p>

<strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;">Ric Flair defeats Marcus Bagwell!</span></strong> (76)</p><p>

Flair used his experience to stay one step ahead of Bagwell the entire match. Marcus made a few momentum changing moves only to have Flair cut his rally short with a cheap trick. Eventually Flair was able to hook the Figure Four Leg Lock in for the win.</p><p> </p><p>

<strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;">Ron Simmons tells Sting to find a new friend!</span></strong> (92)</p><p>

<em>Ron Simmons is in the ring with a mic and a pissed off look on his face.</em></p><p> </p><p>

<span style="text-decoration:underline;"><strong>Ron</strong></span>: Sting…there’s an old saying. Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, Shame on me! You see Sting, that is exactly what you did to me, you fooled me into thinking I could count on you as much as you have counted on me. Every time you needed me I was there for you, but you…You left me to fend off OUR opponents in not one, but two separate matches. Now I’m sure you have plenty of good reasons, but I don’t care. As far as I’m concerned, we’re no longer friends. Next time you come looking for Ron Simmons, you might find yourself with more than you bargained for…</p><p> </p><p>

<strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;">The Oni Warriors defeat Texas Justice!</span></strong> (68)</p><p>

Kiyomori and Orochi used their speed to keep Dustin isolated in the ring. Eventually the same big “cowboy” came to the ring and involved himself in the match. The “cowboy” went to hit Orochi with a cow bell but he accidentally nailed Dustin and cause Rhodes to lose the match after a huge Tiger Bomb by Kiyomori.</p><p> </p><p>

<strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;">Black Scorpion promises to finish Benoit off tonight!</span></strong> (79)</p><p>

<em>We see the Black Scorpion standing in front of his collection of WCW figures. Unlike last time, this time we see the Sting figure standing in front of his “friends” only to have the Ron Simmons figure with its back turned to Sting. The Black Scorpion picks up the Benoit figure, which was half turned to Sting and begins to speak.</em></p><p> </p><p>

<strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;">Black Scorpion</span></strong>: Benoit, last week at Slam my Scorpion Warrior defeated you and locked you in the Scorpion Death Lock but Sting was nowhere to be found. Tonight on Nitro, my Scorpion Warrior will finish what he started last week and you will leave Nitro on a stretcher!</p><p> </p><p>

<strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;">The Scorpion Warrior defeats Chris Benoit!</span></strong> (80)</p><p>

The Scorpion Warrior is able to stay ahead of Chris Benoit who seemed to be nursing a leg injury. The Black Scorpion caused a distraction which allowed The Scorpion Warrior to hook Chris Benoit in a Scorpion Death Lock for the win. After the match Benoit was unable to leave the ring on his own and EMTs had to help him out.</p><p> </p><p>

<strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;">Paul Assaults Chavo!</span></strong> (82)</p><p>

After the match, Paul Wight comes down to the ring and attacks Chavo Jr. As Paul Wight goes to Choke Slam Chavo, Eddy Guerrero runs down to the ring and nails Paul with a dropkick after bouncing off the rop and Paul drops Chavo. Eddy hops to his feet and nails Paul with a few rights but Paul shrugs it off. Paul and Eddy look to go at it but, security rushes the ring and keeps them apart.</p><p> </p><p>

<strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;">Booker T gets beat down…but Ron makes the save!</span></strong> (77)</p><p>

<em>The Road Warriors are beating Booker T down when Ron Simmons comes down to the ring with a chair and makes the save as the crowd cheers him on.</em></p><p><em> </em></p><p><em>

</em><em><em>Heenan was in the ring holding a mic with Rhino looking menacing behind him.</em></em></p><p><em> </em></p><p><em>

</em><em><strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;">Bobby Heenan</span></strong></em><em>: You all doubted me when I told you Rhino was the most dominant man in this sport but after you see what he does to Jim Duggan, all your doubts will be erased!</em></p><p><em> </em></p><p><em>

Sting made short work of the big OMG despite the size difference. During the match we had Vader make his way to the ring however he didn’t get involved at all.</em></p><p><em> </em></p><p><em>

</em><em><strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;">Sting’s attacker is revealed…</span></strong></em><em> (92)</em></p><p><em>

</em><em><em>Vader gets into the ring and points at the Turner-Tron before speaking.</em></em></p><p><em> </em></p><p><em>

</em><em><strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;">Vader</span></strong></em><em>: Sting, I told you I would have proof…and here it is!</em></p><p><em> </em></p><p><em>

</em><em><em>We zoom in to the Turner-Tron and we see Sting being assaulted from behind once more. This time, however, the tape doesn’t skip and we see a man walk into the shot holding a pipe. The man is…Bobby Eaton! Nitor ends with an image of Bobby Eaton and The Scorpion Warrior shaking hands…</em></em></p><p><em> </em></p><p><em>
