More tools to increase modders productivity

The topic is a general catch-all statement should anyone come up with other suggestions, but for the moment I only have a few that immediately spring to mind.

1. Extensive worker filtering

Allow us to filter by all the stats that are possible in-game. This will allow us to get a better idea of our gameworld at a quick glance (something which isn't always possible to keep in mind when editing workers individually).

e.g., "Oh, I have 40 workers with A+ star quality in a database with 300 workers. Hmm, perhaps I need to drop the levels of some of these workers."

2. Export to a common file format

Being able to have a look at the database in Excel is awesome; of course, the barrier for entry is that the user has Microsoft Excel. If possible, exporting to a format that is able to be read by both Excel and Openoffice such as XML would give everyone an opportunity to use it.

3. Editable Spreadsheet view?

I think possibly there were issues regarding being able to do this back in the early TEW days. What about now? Are we able to have editable cells in a spreadsheet view? If so that would make mass editing much less of a pain.

May also invalidate the need for

4. Sort by xxxx

I'm away from TEW at the moment but I'm
pretty
certain that this isn't already implemented somehow. What I'd like to be able to do is sort the worker list in the editor by some kind of category (e.g., charisma, star quality, psychology, overall brawling, global popularity). This would also be a quick indicator to see if the gameworld is balancing out as you'd planned, without having to go into each worker's statistics screen.

Being able to punch the numbers you want into a spreadsheet and then have TEW read said spreadsheet and upload the info into the desired database would be amazing. I'm pretty certain impossible, but amazing.

Assuming that that is impossible:

I like the sliders. I do. I have nothing against them and the visual representation of where the stats fall is great. But if we could have an input field box at the end of each slider so we can type in "75" or "2" instead of moving the slider to the same numbers it would take seconds off of each stat change and over the course of thousands of stat changes would add up to a decent chunk of time.
