I think the problem is its so much easier to "base" a render off someone than create that person exactly. The amount of scrutiny an artist would encounter would be alot if it isn't perfect eventhough it just getting close would be enough for most people.

 

I'm surprised no one has tried to get EA MMA screen shotted/art work guys into the game as they look similar.
