Good show, though you obviously rushed the writing a few places... or maybe Dustin morphin into Dusty is on purpose? :p

Yeah. It was kind of a mad scramble to get it out before that file came back to me.

You can tell.

But I figure the basic idea got through.

Yeah, well, that doesn't look about to happen anytime soon. :(

Definately. :)

Oh man, I had been waiting to do my last main event for quite a while... feels so good to have finally done it. Eff you, Jarrett! :D

Btw, I'd like to apologize in advance for probably having a lot of decisions coming in the next days...

<p>Luger is an absolute dream to work with...a real company man and team player <img alt="" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/rolleyes.png.4b097f4fbbe99ce5bcd5efbc1b773ed6.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p>

Really, not that bad I suppose, I tried to resign him but couldn't</p><p> </p><p>

As far as gimmicks, I haven't quite figured it out yet...but i think the formula is something like this: </p><p> </p><p>

<em>(risk/subtlety vs product + worker's skill * gimmick rating - user creativity skill) * luck{squared}</em></p><p> </p><p>

maybe...not sure...seeing as most of my roster has a gimmick rating of C+ or lower I could be wrong on this <img alt=":D" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/biggrin.png.929299b4c121f473b0026f3d6e74d189.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p> </p><p>

I'll be honest I'm surprised Jarrett lasted this long, considering his underwhelming performance as champion. Looking forward to seeing what you do with Sting, maybe we'll see one/both of DDP & Nash elevated to the Main Event?

Jarrett lasted this long because I was stubborn and because I always love a good "loveable babyface chases the annoying heel's championship in an uphill struggle" storyline.

Without revealing too much I can tell you that Sting will be defending the title at next week's Impact!...

I've been kinda behind on the game... damn real world... so I just read Lockdown now. Great show. Awesome. Loved the main event.

And it's good to see Sting as champion. And by that I mean it's good to see Jarret as not champion.

I ran my show, I'll get it up one day. B- rating, including a B+ main event!

Oh and I don't think I mentioned it but I was totally stunned to see Cactus and Hardcore take the titles in WWF... but man am I happy to see Bob Holly as a dual champion.

I would like to move the WWF's comedy from medium to low..and/or risque from medium to low

it needs to be done via the editor, and I would like permission to make one or both moves...if only one at a time, then comedy goes to low

Someone said something about us being aloud to change our product once every three months or so?

That's my vote...1 change per 3 months...a one "step" change (like medium to low or key to heavy etc..) Only exception would be if you had to change you match risk and/or intensity to avoid a penalty. If everyone is ok with that, I will edit my comedy level down one step next time i get the data

I have no problems with that.

Well then if it's product tinkering time... I'd like to move Realism from Medium to Heavy.

And of course the corresponding change of moving Match Intensity up to 60% and Match Danger down to 10%.

Heavy realism? Are you fully aware what that will do to your product?

Though I thought the agreement was just one step per 3 months...?

Ha. Of course! This is actually the first fed I've ever played besides my SOTBPW game that didn't have realism at at least Heavy. And I am slowly moving my SOTBPW product to be heavy realism too. I hate running entertainmenty feds. It drives me crazy...

Oh, sorry. I thought the three months were up. When is it ok to make the change again?

Yeah they are up, nevermind what I wrote before. It was just me being stupid and not reading carefully enough. All is good, you can make the change. Don't mind me rambling, good sir. :)

I have ever only run entertainment feds, so I'm looking forward to seeing what such a change will mean for AWA.

...Ok serious face didn't work...it may have actual hurt my grades, but all in all I need three or four moves to get where I want (rated more but not MUCH MORE on popularity) so was to be expected :(

Having said that, RAW got a B :D

sent the file off to BigAl, will do the RAW/Superstars write up later tonight or tomorrow evening, but here's a teaser, RAW debuted a new Superstar...He's HUGE in Japan

Hello my good friends. So I was neurotically pestering the vets in the small questions forum about that "Grade to stay National" issue we'd talked about. And since I now have an understanding of it, I figured I'd share it with you:

Hard to know where you "went wrong". But to maintain National or larger status, you need to be putting on B or better show grades. The occassional B- or lower won't necessarily drop you, but regular ones will. This can be a bit confusing, because B- or C+ shows can still be giving you the growth note if there are regions its being shown in that are lower (usually outside the home regions).

And I've heard that a million times but I just got a bit confused, I vaguely remember (don't have the game in front of me) that to be National in America you need to have C+ importance 8 regions throughout the country. Surely B- show grades, and even the occational C+ would keep you there... What am I missing?

Am I mis-remembering the qualifications for National? Am I not fully understanding the nature of importance as compared to popularity?

Regional importance. Most regions in the US are between 85 and 90 importance, which means you need a higher grade to get up there. If every region was set to 100 then a C+/B- might actually be enough, but with the lower levels of importance the grades change to about B-/B. :)

Other parts of the gameworld are often even lower still, which is why it's so hard to get to National+ in Europe, UK and Australia in the default Cornellverse.

Nicely explained, Derek.

Just to add a little bit, Rick, hitting the occassional B- or even C+ show isn't disastrous. Not unless you are on the cusp of falling and it knocks you over the edge. The problem is that it can be a cumulative effect. A B show grade is enough avoid any loss of size, but it also isn't enough for growth in the home regions (outside regions in other game area is another story). If every B- show was followed by a B+ or A show, the damage would be relatively mitigated. The problem is if you are usually in that B-/C+ range with the shows, you probably aren't hitting many B+ or better shows. So every B- or lower show does a bit of damage and each B show does nothing to help fix that damage. If you float around that range for awhile and hit those harmful grades every so often, you are gradually eroding your popularity in the US.
