I was just wondering whether Rick and I actually stand a chance if we reach national and build a good momentum, or whether I doomed us both from the start by giving us such low popularity and prestige compared to WCW and WWF... I had thought that I could perhaps get a good grade out of a battle royal with only 10 men, as I could then avoid throwing in jobbers and lower midcarders... but nooooo.... Btw... seeing how quickly and far some guys rise in popularity, do you guys think I have been too generous with star quality in this mod? Or does it work well enough? Or does it work well enough? Trying to be objective...I'd say overall it's just right. I'd like to see the popularity going up quicker personally, but that's because the WWF is weighted sooooo heavily towards popularity...which is probably accurate for the WWF from the pre-Attitude Era... ...Not sure how much of it is just the rating also...in my game so far Edge's popularity hasn't budged...Raven seems stuck at a C popularity...Arn had to pin Ric Flair to jump up, the only guys I've managed to get a rapid, substantial pop. jump have been- Cactus Jack, Jesse James, The Giant, Vince McMahon, Joey Styles...Sounds right since they have been heavily featured on every show I've done so far... I can live with losing 3 midcard tag teams and 1 main event tag team (which I was about to debut with Owen Hart being one half) in 1 week, I can - in spite of their experience and underrated value - replace those. But within the next 4 months, the contracts of 5 of TNA's in my optics most prominent workers will be up. Losing the majority (or all) of those *will* be catastrophic, especially since any possible talent that could be build to replace them are stuck being wasted in WCW or WWF development hell. But we won't go down without a fight. And TNA, not Hive mind you, but TNA... will... take... it... personally... if the savages that is WCW and WWF have another feast. But more on that to come on another more pleasant not I will be starting the WCW portion of the 4 Corners saga as soon as this months Clash has been booked.
