Hive Posted July 10, 2012 Author Share Posted July 10, 2012 Warning! My main computer suffered from a variety of nasty viruses that crippled it beyond recognition... I have no idea how the f... they got there and had extreme trouble getting rid of them all again, with one in particularly being especially nasty as it appeared to be brand new and unknown and managed to completely mess up my Windows installation... Anyway, my point is: I doubt that these things spread through TEW savegames or *.rar files, but I recommend that you guys do a sweet with your scans anyway. Rick Savant Posted July 10, 2012 Share Posted July 10, 2012 Fortunately I run TEW on linux so this virus scares me not! Unfortunately I just upgraded my Ubuntu and am having wine problems. (which means TEW probelms) Seem to have gotten it figured out now though. Trounced Impact (again) with a B this time. Now it's All-Star Wrestling. Should have the PPV written up and tv simmed by the end of tomorrow, but I've got a job interview in the middle of all this so can't promise before that... Sorry! Bah! Yeah, I don't like losing the "more than regional but not quite national" battle against AWA. Btw, the virus debacle caused me to lose my TEW installation as well - meaning of course that my license needs to be recovered. Anyway, it's actually a good thing I didn't get it back yet - as my bad luck continues: now the harddrive I re-installed my system on has failed... so I'll be at it again.
