Yeah, people seem to think this file sharing is hard... it's really not. It's a bit hard for me to relate because I've played more hours of multiplayer games than singles (and more than both combined in the editor) so I never remember to allay people's fears.

You just sim forward until you cannot then exit the game. Zip up the save. Pop it in an email and it's that person's turn. The game moves slowly, mind you. I take hours writing up a show in note pad and thinking about it on walks and what have you before I program it in and if everybody takes that much time + work schedules + girl/boy kissing schedules + getting drunk and falling out of tree schedules etc it moves far slower than a single player game. But that strikes me as a blessing in disguise for the reasons I mentioned earlier. Being forced to think about this game makes this game better.

The draft took... oh jeez I can't remember. One of the other cats will tell you. A few hours I think. But it was massively fun for me so I didn't mind. Organizing it was just a matter of everyone just saying when they were available and then meeting up on... jesus. Was it instant messanger? I don't even remember. I just installed Civ IV again for some reason and now it's six in the morning and I'm confused...

I just find it a bit amusing because I'm a bit overly cautious of running too long matches myself, almost obsessing about my main eventers having good stamina.

Well for the WWF, I have match intesity/danger at 20%/20%...I would imagine for example the Dibiase v Hogan match would include quite a bit of playing to the crowd, staredowns, tests of strength, heel stalling and 'Hulking' up and maybe 10 minutes of actual 'bumping' and even that would be kick, punch, choke, big boot. You'd probably extend as much energy as a trip through the supermarket. Hey if HHH and Undertaker can do it at Wrestlemania XXVII then these two could pull it off

Uhhh.... I just loaded up our game and it's showing numbers instead of grades... how do we make that stop? I need to go look at a bunch of stuff, but don't want to cheat and see what the exact grades are.

Is that a decision someone made or did my skin just screw up? If it is a change that we're making in the game we should vote on it as I vote adamantly against it.

ooops that's my bad....I changed it under user preferences in the game options menu. I was checking to see how my undercarders were doing in popularity gains, and I wanted to see the exact numbers

Ok, we should come to an agreement on this, though. I trust you were just curious and not intentionally trying to gain an advantage but if one person is using number and everyone else is using grades then that would be a big advantage.

I had Samula lose to Terry Gordy where they were both rated C-. Samula dropped in overness into the Ds because he had previously been a tiny bit more over than Ter-Gor. If I had been looking at exact numbers they would both have gaine (or at least stayed the same)

I think that's a good thing for the game. That should happen from time to time, but clearly it will never happen to someone using numbers. Anyway, I just wanted to make sure we're all agreed that we're using grades. Hope this doesn't come off and jerky, but we should all be on the same page about this I figure.

That's fine...honestly I didn't realize everyone wasn't using numbers too

No worries

I personally much prefer grades instead of numbers. I like "leaving a bit to the imagination". I have never even tried numbers, and I have no urge to do so either.

Most of the time I only use the grades also, but occasionally I will turn them on to check things out, I left them on and it was annoying when I ran RAW, as I would have rather just seen the letter grades.

New Topic:

It's almost November in the game...are we going to seek a 2nd show for our feds? If so I think they should all be equal...I'd suggest a 1 hour taped show, held on the same night as our main show. As far as an A or B show, I think it could be up to each of us individually to decide....WWF desperatly needs a B show that's for sure

I don't think there's a need for any rules on the subject... I'm not even sure us poor cult companies can get a second show, for that matter.

But I do request of people that if you get one, please have it on the same day as your A show... there's no need to make our game even slower, if it can be avoided. :)

I'm going to try for a 60-minute taped B show...filmed on the same day as RAW, ala Superstars (New version) or ECW (WWE crap version not the '90's real ECW) Probably take all of 15-minutes to book...some low card matches, a few hype promo's etc...but having my Cruiserweight champion (Kidman not Luger) with a F popularity is killing me!
