UFC: Conquering The World

Recommended Posts

The year was 2009 and the UFC was on the verge of staging it's biggest event ever in UFC 100. Since Zuffa and Dana White came into the UFC, it has been all upwards for the promotion that was at one time not even seen across 3/4 of the United States. Our story begins in June of 2009. UFC is about to stage UFC 99, the promotion's first entry into mainland Europe (Germany). The UFC is at the top of the MMA game, with only 2 viable potential challengers to their throne in California based Strikeforce and the upstart Affliction Entertainment led by Fedor Emelianenko, arguably the man considered by man to be the best fighter in the world.

Here is where the UFC brought MMA from niche sport, to worldwide powerhouse.
