Your company's name?

Recommended Posts

Hello!

I was looking for name for my dev territory. So I would like to know, what are your promotion's name?

Mine are:

PWF (Pro Wrestling Federation - 1997 RW mod)

NCW (National Championship Wrestling - 2001 RW mod)

AWL (Allstars Wrestling League - 2011 RW mod)

What's yours?

I typically use the same names for all of my development promotions.

C-Verse:

Ladies Fighting Championship (LFC)

Women of Texas Wrestling (WTW)

Catch Wrestling Society (CWS)

Perth Wrestling Commission (PWC)

For real world games, I use existing/old promotions:

M's Style

ARSION

Ibuki

LLPW

Most of my games I run smaller promotions and so will try to come up with a name based on the type of games and products I am running.

A few I've used

HRDKORR XTREME WRESTLING!!!111 (for late 90s games running hardcore/spotmonkey style)

Southern States Championship Wrestling (Usually for older mods or when I want to bring back some old skool wrestling)

Future Endeavour Wrestling (When I run a game based around signing only former WWE guys)

Kamikaze Pro (Japanese indy, usually either garbage or lucha inspired)

Promo LOCO (Lucha)

BTW Remi, is that Perth the one in Scotland or Australia? If it's the latter whatchoo doing promoting in my home town?

Australia. I have friends there and it's much less crowded than the east coast (RAW, DIW, APW, blah blah). It's like going from New York City (Sydney/Melbourne) to Portland (Perth). Totally different vibe. :)

Astonishing World Wrestling. I always play a promotion that's either already big or aspiring to be so, in which case I want the word 'world' in there somewhere as I feel it adds a layer of prestige and to show that it's not just a regional fed.

I only play C-verse, so...

USA:

Southern Class Championship Wrestling - I pretend I bought the rights from Shane Sneer.

National Class Championship Wrestling - the future of SCCW if I take it to National.

World Class Championship Wrestling - the future of NCCW if I take it International/Global.

--

Japan:

Japanese Championship Wrestling - one of the feds yet to debut.

--

Europe:

Russian Steel Wrestling - my most favorite fed to play in. Self-made, and with a focus on European rasslin'.

I have a bunch of development promotions I've opened up (and I'm not very creative, I know some of these exist in real life):

Full Impact Pro

Hawaiian Wrestling Academy

Rapid Pro Wrestling

Texas Wrestling Alliance

Underground Pro Wrestling

All of my other child promotions are from within the CVerse already (RMW, ROF, etc.)

I always used Steel Fusion Wrestling if it was anywhere near a hardcore fed. For a more traditional promotion, I normally name it after the region it's in (West Coast Wrestling, East Coast Wrestling, both very original names. ¬_¬).

I used to use Sin City Championship Wrestling for my Great Lakes promotion before I realised that Sin City was Las Vegas, and not - as I'd previously thought, for perfectly valid reasons in my opinion - Cincinnati. ¬_¬

This is legit funny :D

I used Florida Revolution Wrestling for my created regional game in the CVerse. It was a product nearly identical to TCW.

In my FCW game (C Verse) currently 13 years in after the 12 year I changed the name of the promotion to MSWA MainStream Wrestling Alliance although I haven't touched the game in quite some time I do plan on getting back to it but right now I am side tracked with a WWE game I am doing.

My new promotion is called....

PSWC - Paper Street Wrestling Company

It's a Attitude Era kind of Sport Entertainment + little touch of Hardcore. (We could say WWE 2001, lol). Local size. I will rename it to Connecticut Wrestling Company later. (Then New England Wrestling Company to North East Wrestling Company to National Wrestling Company to The Wrestling Company)

American Championship Wrestling (ACW) is my company that I created to challenge WWE in a real world mod. It's basically supposed to become a modern version of the mid 90's WCW (some trash gimmicks included ;-).

I also created the Fight Club Florida (FCF - hommage to real world European promotion Fight Club Finland) as my developmental territory.
