Underclassmen Declaring

I'm just wondering why all my good freshmen are considering turning pro after their first season. Doesn't the NFL say that you have to be out of HS for at least 3 years? Or is this an aspect of the game that doesn't emulate college FB?

The second season, my starting QB, also a freshman, declared too, as did my starting sophomore DE. It really screwed up the development of my team, as I did not expect having to recruit another QB, so there was no one interested in my team.
