Fairly open question...

Personally, I view Doane as an IC level guy for the forseeable future in the rare games I pick him up for the WWE, but I don't do much to actively push him beyond being a solid midcarder. Of course you've got the old Spirit Squad connection between Doane and Dolph Ziggler, so there's a potential team or feud there.

I was never had a problem with Doane's ring work, but I was always pissed that they kept him around instead of Jeter, who I thought was just so much better.

Any singles guy who I don't have a role for in the immediate future, I look for a tag partner for.

Doane is, what, 22, 23? No age to be given a singles push in the WWE - you'll just spike his negative personality traits, and from what I remember he was originally canned for being a bit spikey anyway.

Bring him in, tag him up with someone like Ted DiBiase or Zack Ryder or any of the innumerable WWE midcard nobodies who have marginally less traction than an F1 car on a frozen lake. Or bring in some of the TNA workers who have skills for Doane to learn from (specifically Psychology and Entertainment skills, but Brawling and Selling are always good too).

True. I just did the same thing with Eddie Cornell and Lee Rivera. My roster got really bloated, and I was having trouble finding anything for either to do, so I went with the classic odd couple pairing, and I'm happy with the results.

All the time the Spirit Squad were around I was telling everyone who'd listen that Johnny Jeter was the breakout star and when all was said and done he'd be the one to get a push out of it. Who could've predicted Nicky being the guy?

But as for booking ideas for Kenny I always see him as being the very blueprint of the arrogant blue chipper heel. Solid ring skills, great look just needs to fully hone his craft and gain the cred. Depending on who you've got around he's ideal for a role as an apprentice/lackey to a main event heel like Angle or Triple H or even somebody like Ric Flair. That way they can do some of the talking for him too

Give him a slow build, keeping him at the IC/US title level having him flirt with the main event but always lose out to the established stars for a few years until he's mature enough to not let a big push go to his head and then just pull the trigger if/when his skills (and personality) are there.

I like the idea of a team with Zack Ryder though
