WCW: The Big Bang

After months of negotiations it appears Eric Bischoff has conquered his goal and finally bought WCW. He has reportable signed an 8 week trial bases contract with Fox’s brand new channel FX for a prime time slot for its flagship program WCW Monday Nitro. At this time Thunder appears to be off TV for the foreseeable future. WCW will hold its first event this Sunday entitled The Big Bang.

Currently Eric plans to hold run the TV shows from a smaller venue. Bischoff wants the Hard Rock Cafe in Vegas to be the base. He also plans Cancel house shows, until the market is built back up.

Eric also has major plans for the talent of the organization it is highly expected that Sean O'Haire will receive a mega push in hopes he becomes the next break out star. Several ECW stars are either close to signing a contract or have already signed including Steve Corino. RVD, Kid Kash, Danny Doring and Roadkill. Eric would also really like to recreate the New Blood angel or something to that level

It is also heavily expected that Joey Styles and Don Callis will be coming in to do Nitro and PPV's replacing Tony Schiavone, Mark Madden and Scott Hudson.

WCW World Heavyweight Championship

Scott Steiner© vs. Diamond Dallas Page

As much as this being a "brand new WCW" could use a shot in the arm, that shot should NOT come from Steiner dropping the title. Let him be the badass that he is for quite a long time.

WCW United States Championship

Booker T© vs. Jeff Jarrett

Let this be your big shock title change. Grabbing the US title gives Double J something to do that keeps him out of the World title picture, and also frees up Booker to jump into the World title picture. Very win-win.

WCW Tag Team Championship

Natural Born Thrillers© vs. KroniK

Yep, I'm saying another title changes hands. Title loss here makes it look like a brand new WCW, and lets you move the NBT away from one another for that O'Haire push that really should be happening whether you talked about it in the first post or not.

Totally Buff vs. The Filthy Animals

A match against the much more talented Animals should make Totally Buff look decent. Animals will have their chance, just won't be taking this match. Too many egos involved on the other side.

Ernest Miller vs. Ric Flair

Sure, The Cat could be made decent use of, but it's Ric Flair. He ain't jobbing out to The Cat.

Road Warrior Animal vs. Konnan

Animal should really be just putting over new people here, maybe finding someone to team with in order to give off some rub.

WCW Cruiserweight Championship

Chavo Guerrero Jr. © vs. Shane Helms

Chavo can help out in whatever role you intend, let him run with the belt for a little while. And besides, this being a big new era, you don't want your big title change to be the Cruiserweight one; it's small potatoes.
