rvdjrv2002 Posted May 14, 2011 Posted May 14, 2011 There will be an even thirty (30) Rounds. This draft will use THE GOLDEN AGE 1987 By Genadi. Chairpersons of this draft are - rvdjrv2002 and Rick Savant Rules: 1. After promotions are filled. Whichever promotion is randomly drawn to be #1 (http://www.random.org/sform.html) will go first. 2. Once the first pick is made, the promotion which has drawn #2 will have two (2) hours from the time indicated on the time stamp of the relevant post to make their selection. Once that promotion makes their selection the promotion who has drawn #3 will be on the clock in the same fashion and this continues throughout the draft. 3. Once the two hour time period elapses that promotion is considered skipped. When this occurs the promotion who is next in line will be placed on the clock as though the previous promotion had made their selection at exactly the two hour mark. 4. If a promotion is skipped for missing a selection, they may make their skipped selection at any time. 5a. Replacement Parameters Once skipped a promotion has 24 hours starting from the time where they became considered skipped before being replaced by the first person on the Replacement List. The Replacement List is generated by late sign ups and board members who have signed up past the capacity of the draft. If a promotion knows that they will be unavailable, then they can, and are encouraged to, submit a list to any member of the board, so long as it is made known that that member will be making selections for said promotion either via Private Message (PM) to the chairperson(s) of the draft or preferably via posting in the thread. If no list is submitted then that promotion will receive a twelve (12) hour warning, both in PM and on the thread, before being replaced. 5b. Temporary Selectors When suitable replacements are not available the Temporary Selectors List will be consulted. Board Members who have signed up as Temporary Selectors will be asked to assume temporary control of a second promotion after the following protocol: List A (The Replacement List) is consulted. If there's no one remaining on that list, we consult List B (The Temporary Selectors List) and assign the person at the top of the list, so long as they've been active in the draft, to pick for the skipped promotion until a permanent replacement is found or the original replaced board member returns. When a Temporary Selector makes a pick, that pick will be scrutinized to prevent tampering. 6. In the first ten (10) rounds all characters selected will be signed to a written contract. Once selected during these rounds that character is exclusive to the selecting promotion and is unavailable for re-selection. Following that the next twenty (20) rounds will be to select characters on a Pay Per Appearance (PPA) basis. Any character may be selected by up to three (3) separate promotions and after that will be unavailable for selection. A promotion may, should it choose, select the same character more than once during the PPA rounds. If a promotion manages to select a character three (3) times during these rounds that character will be exclusive to said promotion and assigned a written contract. This is done at the risk of a second promotion selecting the character after the first promotion has selected the character twice. Should that occur, the promotion which selected the character twice is considered, for drafting purposes, to have two PPA contracts with that character. A third fed is not able to draft this character and, should they chose, the promotion which holds two PPA contracts with the character may trade one while retaining the other. The draft will be held in a serpentine fashion. That is to say that the the promotion that selects last in the first round will select first in the second. The promotion who selects last in the second round will select first in the third and so on. ie In a fifteen (15) promotion draft the promotion who draws #15 will have the #15 and #16 picks. 7. Trades are allowed, and generally considered awesome. Draft picks and characters are both up for trade. 8. Each promotion may select their TV show at anytime during the draft as long as they are on the clock. When this is done they must select a Name, Network and all relevant details. Doing so takes up a draft selection. 9. All promotions will start as either High Regional or Low Cult depending on beta results. Each promotion will start with ten million (10,000,000) dollars USD. 10. Each promotion must assign an owner and a booker from their drafted non wrestlers. No active or semi-active wrestlers may be assigned to these positions. This may be done at any time. 11. Each promotion can choose to act as a Temporary Selector for another company if necessary under above guidelines. Volunteers are encouraged to come forward early to help things run smoothly. Please remember that even if you are assigned as a Temporary Selector you will not be called upon to make a selection unless a suitable permanent replacement is unavailable. *Rules can be added up till the first pick goes on the clock.* *Please Rank all belts when you have more than belt at a certain level. ex. I hope the rules in the first post explain everything you need to know, but it'd be great to have a fresh set of eyes, that aren't used to drafts, to look them over. If anything about the rules aren't clear to a newcomer send me a PM and I'll both answer your questions and work with RVDjr to fix the firs post.</p>

rvdjrv2002 Posted May 15, 2011 Author Posted May 15, 2011 thanks for the heads up Jaysin....no bother it keeps it from slipping through the cracks.
Jaysin Posted May 16, 2011 Posted May 16, 2011 Ugghh, probably going to have to pull my promotion out. Got home today and received a lovely eviction notice. I have 3 days to vacate the premises and I don't exactly have a plan of action yet, so I have to put everything else on hold.
