Tom Bombadil
I've often seen that putting people in matches with skilled workers helps them improve, but how exactly does it work? I try putting my green rookies in with talented vets, but I don't have much more success with that than the random matches that I put together without thinking about training. Does this work for physical stats as well? I just got a toughness-related owner goal, and thusly have a lot of people to bump up a couple of points in that stat quickly. James Casey
Physical stats improve with age - up to a point, anyway. If your guys are a long way off, or they're already past thirty, chances are they won't make it.

Great wrestlers are better teachers because they can bring people up to their level. Angry Gilmore's level is a lot higher than Ted Brady's, but if your project is Mark Smart or Fearless Blue, they can learn quite a lot from Brady to start with.

kaneso14
I find that holding a battle royal with workers of all levels helps build up a developing workers stats. I hold a dark battle royal at every PPV for all my unused workers and I have them every once in a while on my TV show for workers that have not appeared in a while, in which I will throw in a few of my unused ring generals. It seems to be working well enough! I would not expect instant results and there may be better methods of improving skills but this is one way that is working for me. Remianen
Except stamina. Dang you Brady, you weregoing to be my lynchpin in that game... The point is to let the guys mimic, to a degree, who they're working with. Let's them know this is what brawling is or whatever. Also, if you want huge improvements fast...have your guys work a 4 hour show. Did that in SWF with Knuckles/Shady K vs. Kid Toma/Akima Brave. Saw...easily 5+ jumps in stats. Granted, they're like dead now, but... I do this too. I do it both for worker development and for tag team development. I don't worry too much about the workers getting fatigued since I can just let them sit out until they're back in working condition. Plus, with a 20/40 product, (or a 5/0 one, with BSC), it takes A LOT of matches to really max a worker's fatigue out (approximately 20 ). Basically Tom, it's chance based. You're not always going to get 5-12 points of improvement from a single match. Over time, you'll find it works out better but you don't always see it in the short term.
