Ramaeno
high guys. i have a game from TEW 2007 that I am so very fond of. I have booked in it a total of over 500 shows at a certain point an even now ive got many shows during the week and ive implemented lots and lots of annual stuff beyond PPVs like tournaments that take place bi-yearly, i have these events called Derbys that basically a wrestler enters there are 10 derby combatants. the first two guys fight, its normal match rules with a time limit. When there's a winner, a 3rd wrestler comes out for 1 on 1 and this continues until the 10th derby combatant has fought so for example say Rick Law vs Warlord Pain kicks off the derby. At 18:15 in the match, Rick Law pins Pain with a lariat. Then Derby fighter #3 will come out to face Law. In theory, Rick Law has to win 9 singles bouts in a row to win the Derby. The true advantage comes at being the last derby entrant. If there is a draw then the next two derby combatants come out so if Derby combatant #3 is Animal Harker and he and Rick Law get a double DQ then derby combatant #4 and #5 have to come out and battle. Say that Derby combatant #5 makes it all the way to face combatant #9 and they both get DQ'd or counted out or the time limit expires well in that case the final derby combatant whom has yet to participate would win the trophy. Furthermore if the final of the derby pits combatant #9 or #5 against #10 and that ends in a draw or countout then the derby has no winner. I also do a tag team derby and a jr. heavyweight derby. One of the great things about my game is that at some point NOTBPW went under, I bought them out. We ran a SWF vs NOTBPW show which featured top SWF stars vs top NOTBPW stars in a point system type affair so we had 5 SWF vs NOTBPW matches the promotion with the most points won (3 pts for a win, 1 for a draw and 0 for a loss.) Well NOTBPW won and what that allowed was for the company not to be "bought out" storyline wise so I run two brands... NOTBPW and SWF but i try to run them like seperate promotions altogether that have no involvement with one another save that there have been some super shows where theyve faced off. I also run the promotions in such a way where there are world wide events. There is a World Cup of Wrestling at the end of the year, we have an American Cup, Canadian Cup, European Cup, Australian Cup, Japan Cup, SWF/NOTBPW Cup and a cup called the International Invitational Cup The World Cup features 1st-4th placed competitors from those cup tournaments. I also do Tag Team and Jr. Heavyweight versions of those respective cups. I also have a very intricate wrestling league that I run based on seasons. The League is called, plainly, The Grand Professional Wrestling League. It's a intricate, complex thing that I'd been running in that game for over a season and a half. The league has shows on two different channels it is 4 wrestlers to a team. each team has a name. The teams are "owned" by either a manager, valet, non-wrestler but most often the team captain. There are two tiers to the league, the GPWL Gold and GPWL Silver. The Silver division doesnt really have anything on TV, I run it basically through medium sized shows and its just assumed that results, statistics etc. are on the GPWL website whereas the Gold division gets all the attention and glory. The worst 3 teams in the Gold division get sent to the Silver division at the end of the season and the worst 3 teams in the Silver are removed from the GPWL and 3 new teams are given an opportunity to be founded and brought into the Silver division. There are statistics and points for eliminations because it is an elimination based 4 vs 4 league. Its considered a "shut-out" when a team doesnt have even 1 of it's members get eliminated. The GPWL tries to act seperate from the SWF although obviously GPWL workers are in the SWF and NOTBPW. In some cases I have workers on teams in GPWL that have never debuted in the SWF or NOTBPW. Anyway, I've tried hard to replicate the success and obsession of that game in TEW2010 for a long time but idk.... either way what I would really like to do is to bring that game into TEW2010 via convertor.... Is that possible and if so can someone explain to me how to do that??? I really dont care if it is tedious and things have to be done that are boring and numbing that wouldnt matter to me....like picturess or stats or something....i wouldnt care. I do have TEW2008 i have every version of TEW....i say that cause im thinking i woulnfdt be able to just convert TEW07 data to TEW2010 data without first making it TEW08 data.... Right?? So without further delay, is this at all possible and if so can someone pleaaaaaaase explan to me how to do it?? Basically i would like to take my TEW07 data and have it converted to be playable in TEW2010. DATA might be a bad word to use.... not so much the data of 2007 but the data of my one particular game that I have on there is what I mean. I'd really appreciate the help. thank you and i do apologize for run on sentencing and making this long and talkin gbaout my game versus my question. I just havent heard of what I've done being done by anybody else so i figured id throw it out there, and if anybody wants to use the derby, the world cup or any ideas (theres a ton ton ton more stuff, events, gimmicks etc. that i didnt post up here cuz i felt like i was takin too long anyway)of mine feel free to give it a shot, i enjoy it. i have great fun with it. thanks a bunch guys. Derek B
No, it's not possible to convert a saved game already in progress, only the database itself can be converted from one game to the next (though it will require editing to take advantage of new features). It's also not possible to convert a save game into a database.
