Impact kicks off with it's usual fanfare and a camera ride across the ecstatic crowd before we head to the announcers ...

http://i454.photobucket.com/albums/qq267/Harmor666/TEW/MikeTenay-1.jpghttp://i454.photobucket.com/albums/qq267/Harmor666/TEW/EricBischoff.jpghttp://i454.photobucket.com/albums/qq267/Harmor666/TEW/Taz.jpg

Tenay: Hello and welcome to another edition of TNA Impact, your weekly dose of the new face of professional wrestling. Tonight, as we’ve already learned, there is going to be a huge showdown when the team of Hulk Hogan, Rob Van Dam and Christopher Daniels square off against three absolutely destructive brutes, Layfield, Inc.’s monster Abyss and former TNA Tag Team Champions The Alpha Legion.

Taz: Hogan and RVD officially sided with Mick Foley’s rabble last week, and Van Dam even went to challenge for the new TNA US Title! Surely that didn’t sit too well with Layfield, Inc..

Bischoff: Oh you bet it didn’t, Taz. You see, and this goes for Daniels too, RVD already came across as if he had all but won that belt already. Are you kidding me? Carlito Colon is going after that belt and if anybody should be so sure of himself, it’s him.

Taz: Why? Because he lost to Steve Corino at No Surrender?

Bischoff: That was nothing but a minor setback in the grand scheme of things and ...

Tenay: Well, there’s JBL and Chris Jericho coming down to the ring ... let’s hear what they have to say.

The music dies down and the only sound is the disapproval from over 12000 fans who are booing JBL and Jericho out of the building. The Layfield, Inc. big heads ignore it and wait for the volume to go down before talking...

http://i454.photobucket.com/albums/qq267/Harmor666/TEW/JohnLayfield.jpghttp://i454.photobucket.com/albums/qq267/Harmor666/TEW/ChrisJericho.jpg

Jericho: It is unbelievable. Last week, JBL and I agree on the little stipulation Mick Foley came up with and now, what do we get? More despise from you ignorant fools. How much more concession could we possibly make? Yet you are still not satisfied and this is getting ridiculous. I’ll tell ya this ... at Bound for Glory, I’ll love when you stare blank faced once the night is over, booing and booing and booing at the top of your lungs because I, Chris Jericho, and the rest of Layfield, Inc. will have once and for all ended the hopes of all Mick Foley faithfuls by not only retaining our belts but getting those Foley’s bunch stole – and that shiny new one, the US Title. What a night it’ll be when Mick Foley will finally be gone from TNA! What a night it’s going to be for us and especially me when I finally get the chance to correct something that has been stinging me since Hard Justice. At Bound for Glory, I will rid myself of the taint that burdens me since then. I will once and for all settle that score between Joe and me and show everybody that I am superior to Samoa Joe. I will expose him for the fraud he is when I defeat him in the center of this very ring.

JBL: And it is about time this whole affair came to an end ... in less than three weeks from now, Mick Foley will no longer own half of this company but I, the wrestling and business God, will be the proper, true to the word sole owner of TNA. Mark my words...

He gets no further as the music of Samoa Joe hits and he comes out to an absolutely massive ovation. He walks down the aisle, purpose on his features, and gets into the ring.

http://i454.photobucket.com/albums/qq267/Harmor666/TEW/SamoaJoe.jpg

Joe: Well JBL and Chris, what else would you say? How else would you want to come across on TV except bristling with confidence. But I know you have doubts. I know that everytime you look into the mirror, you ask yourself if you are good enough to overcome Mick’s challenge and live another day. I’ll make it easy for you – you are NOT good enough. Jericho, at Hard Justice you got lucky, but you lost against me. At Bound for Glory, Chris, you’ll lose again but this time the bell will ring after I pinned your shoulders down to the mat for the one, two, three. This time, Chris, I will take that belt away from you and there is goddamn nothing you can do about it.

JBL: You’re walking a fine line, Joe. Even if you DO win it might not be enough to stop Layfield, Inc... trust me Joe, Layfield, Inc. won’t lose three out of five matches. We just won’t. And once that night is over, I’ll come down on you and crush you like the pest you are, trust me on that.

Jericho: But it won’t come to that, there’ll be no need JBL. Once I’m done with Joe he won’t get another rematch and this belt will be forever lost to him.

Joe: You guys certainly show that you can talk the talk ... but walk the walk? Chris, if it wasn’t for Dave Batista I’d be having that belt now and oh – I beat Batista at No Surrender. It’s what I do ... I win matches, Chris. Cleanly. I don’t need anyone at ringside to interfere in my matches to get the job done. I also don’t need to hide behind a whole bunch of misfits constantly. You do, however, and that makes YOU the fluke here.

Jericho looks ready to throttle Samoa Joe but suddenly, Brock Lesnar’s music hits the speakers and he comes out on the ramp...

http://i454.photobucket.com/albums/qq267/Harmor666/TEW/BrockLesnar.jpg

Lesnar: Joe ... I have to say you have a very short memory. Remember our match in that little eight man tournament? Had it not been for AJ Styles to interfere, you wouldn’t even be standing here right now, talking about challenging Jericho because you would have never, ever defeated me. But let us move away from the “ifs” and talk about actual fact for a moment. Whoever of you wins that belt at Bound for Glory, I couldn’t care less about – but either one will have to look out because I am challenging the TNA World Heavyweight Champion post- Bound for Glory. It is about time I got a shot at the belt and now I am taking matters into my own hands.

He drops the microphone and leaves and his appearance apparently cast a spell on all three men in the ring as they just stare back at each other hard but say nothing further as we cut to commercials... 100

http://i454.photobucket.com/albums/qq267/Harmor666/TEW/ChrisHeroB.jpghttp://i454.photobucket.com/albums/qq267/Harmor666/TEW/CCastagnoli.jpghttp://i454.photobucket.com/albums/qq267/Harmor666/TEW/BrianKendrick.jpghttp://i454.photobucket.com/albums/qq267/Harmor666/TEW/PaulLondon.jpg

The Kings of Wrestling vs. Londrick

London and Kendrick went balls to the wall, and the Kings were looking at quite some trouble to start the match. Reckless abandon was putting it mildly but the fans loved the show Londrick put on. But Hero and Castagnoli aren’t going by their tag name for nothing, and so they bounced back from their early woes in this match. When London had landed a nearfall on Castagnoli, Hero came in past the referee and laid him out with a running knee. This brought Kendrick into the ring but Hero avoided him and this was when Double C was back up. Double Team Hero’s Welcome and Castagnoli went for the pin ... one, two, three!

The Kings of Wrestling defeated Londrick in 10:23 by pinfall with the Double Team Hero’s Welcome. [75]

After the match, Hero and Castagnoli demand microphones while being showered in boos ...

Hero: Angle, Foley, I hope you were watching! This, and more, mind you, is what’s in store for you at Bound for Glory. With Claudio and me reunited as a team, there is no questioning who the most dominant, the most experienced and the most brilliant tag team in ALL of professional wrestling is – it’s us, the Kings of Wrestling.

Castagnoli: Hey Chris, maybe they were watching after all and are now crapping their pants already!

Hero: Oh, good point .. that’s very likely actually. I can picture it – Mick Foley and Kurt Angle being scared out of their minds by the prospect of having to defend their belts against us. And with the way you blatantly dismissed me Mick, back when you still had a chance to get on my good side, mind you, don’t think you’ll get any sympathy out of me for when we help burst your little bubble of sole ownership of TNA. We don’t care for that, Mick ... all we care for is to get your belts.

Mick Foley’s music hits and he comes down the aisle with his partner Kurt Angle, their tag team title belts slung over their shoulders as they walk up the steps and get into the ring.

http://i454.photobucket.com/albums/qq267/Harmor666/TEW/MickFoley.jpghttp://i454.photobucket.com/albums/qq267/Harmor666/TEW/KurtAngle.jpg

Foley: Well first of all, Chris .. Claudio ... congratz for reuniting, and I’m dead serious about it. I’ve seen your work as a tag team before and respect the hell out of you guys, really do. But you know ... there’s more on the line at Bound for Glory than just the tag team belts. Much more and I’m not even sure if you guys are fully aware of it. It doesn’t matter though because Kurt and I sure are.

Angle: And that is why we will be ready, ready as we’ll ever be when you step into the ring with us at Bound for Glory. You have no idea what you got yourselves into when you aligned with Layfield. I’m not sure if you’re full members of his group or not and I don’t even care to be honest. All I care for are these belts and that Mick and I will fulfill our duties at Bound for Glory and keep them, not only for our sake but for the sake of TNA and our fans. You just happen to challenge us at a very unfortunate time, guys. You’ll be facing us at our most determined and intense, and that is why these belts will stay around our waists post Bound for Glory.

Hero: Determination and intensity ... oh yeah, I’m impressed. But that means nothing when it comes to experience and skills, Kurt. You’re great wrestlers individually but ... so are we. Yet on top of that, guys, Double C and I aren’t known as The Kings of Wrestling for nothing. We have been teaming since YEARS. The matches we've won on all continents, hell, it's so many I lost count. When it comes to Foley and Angle though, one hand to count your victories is enough. No other tag team can match us in the ring, and if you think we’re somehow ... scared ... or wary by the fact that Mick owns half of TNA, you’re wrong.

Castagnoli: It’ll be our pleasure to beat you ... Kurt Angle and Mick Foley ... what name value, you know. It’ll do a lot to our own legacy if we defeat an Olympic gold medalist and multiple time World Champion and Hardcore Legend at the biggest Pay Per View of the year. In the ring, Mick, you’re just another target, not the guy who owns half of this company ... never forget that.

Foley: If you had reservations to fight you own boss in what is a wrestling company, you wouldn’t even be in TNA right now, guys. I wouldn’t want it any other way. Show up at Bound for Glory and give it your best shot!

Angle: It’ll make it that much sweeter when you tap out to the Ankle Lock!

Hero: So be it, then. Enjoy your title run while it lasts, it won’t be long anyways.

Hero and Castagnoli leave the ring while Foley and Angle lift their belts up in the air which gives them a huge response from the crowd. Impact goes to commercials... 90

Tenay: Welcome back to Impact everyone. Chris Hero and Claudio Castagnoli reunited as the Kings of Wrestling in TNA - like their attitude or not folks, their poise is gigantic and they WILL give Angle and Foley quite a run for their money.

Taz: On any day Mike, I'd agree it's at least a fifty-fifty affair but hey, this is Bound for Glory coming up with the biggest predicament in TNA history. I can't fathom that Mick Foley and Kurt Angle will lose their belts!

Bischoff: Don't be so sure, Taz. The Kings of Wrestling are one of the most experienced teams that ever graced a TNA ring and at Bound for Glory, that might prove to the be difference maker.

Tenay: Whatever the outcome I am sure it'll be a great encounter and one of MANY can't miss matches in about two week's time. Let's now get to the ring for a man who has been a little under the radar for a while, especially with the Foley-JBL war in the forefront, but he is lately skyrocketing once again and ... let's not get ahead of ourselves though. The four time former X-Division champion Jay Lethal has rebounded and turned things around and he is facing Eric Young next!

http://i454.photobucket.com/albums/qq267/Harmor666/TEW/JayLethal2-1.jpghttp://i454.photobucket.com/albums/qq267/Harmor666/TEW/EricYoung.jpg

Jay Lethal vs. Eric Young

Lethal was simply the better man in this encounter and controlled the flow from the bell on. Short bursts of offense by Eric Young were swiftly denied and in the end, the Diving Dynamite Headbutt ended the match.

Jay Lethal defeated Eric Young in 7:46 by pinfall with the Diving Dynamite Headbutt. [70]

Right after the match, Jay Lethal demands a microphone ...

Lethal: Hey Des ... I hope you’ve been watching, man. I’m back to where I should be ... Black Machismo is back, bro! I’m no longer going to be overlooked in TNA! And that is thanks to no other than Mick Foley! You’ve aligned your miserable hide with the man who probably doesn’t even know my name. But that’ll change, Des. That’ll change, damn it. I am a four time X-Division Champion and you know what? I’ll be a five time champ once Bound for Glory is over because I’m going to beat you silly, bro. I’m going to help Mick get one of the three wins he needs AND help myself too when I take that belt from you, man. Black Machismo is ready and on a roll ...

He is cut off as JBL comes out to his music with the crowd instantly turning hostile ... JBL heads into the ring to stand before Jay Lethal with a microphone.

http://i454.photobucket.com/albums/qq267/Harmor666/TEW/JohnLayfield.jpg

JBL: Who in the world do you think you are? Actually ... who in the world ARE you? Anyways, you shouldn’t come out here and demand this and that, Jay, four time former champion or not.

Desmond Wolfe’s music hits as he comes through the curtain, X-Division belt with him, and walks down the aisle and gets into the ring to stand next to JBL ...

http://i454.photobucket.com/albums/qq267/Harmor666/TEW/DesmondWolfe.jpg

Wolfe: Wait, John. You know, I’m not one to back down from a challenge and since Jay here is the first to step up, why not give him the nod? It’s not like I have to worry about him, right? I’m the best damn wrestler who ever held this title, don’t forget that. And as such, bring it on, Jay. Just give it your best shot man, give your everything and think you can take this belt from me and I’ll relish in proving you wrong. I’ll enjoy wrestling circles around you, Jay.

Lethal: Hey Des, you know I would really love to counter all you said there but if I do, you might get different thoughts about my challenge and so forth, so you’ll probably agree it wouldn’t be so wise if I did that. So what will I do instead? Simple ... I’ll enjoy the fact that we’re going to face off at Bound for Glory and just let my skills do the talking during our match. That, Des, will then prove YOU wrong! See you at Bound for Glory, dude.

Jay Lethal drops the microphone and leaves ringside, the fans applauding and cheering him on. Wolfe has a cocky smirk on his face as JBL whispers something to him and we go to commercial break. 93

http://i454.photobucket.com/albums/qq267/Harmor666/TEW/Carlito.jpghttp://i454.photobucket.com/albums/qq267/Harmor666/TEW/ChrisSabin.jpg

Carlito Colon vs. Chris Sabin

Carlito was focused and took control early on. Sabin, used to tag team wrestling since months, however found back into the match until the moment he landed awkwardly on his elbow. He looked to be in quite some discomfort and pain from then on and with an very obvious injury, was no more match for Carlito. Back Cracker and the one, two, three.

Carlito Colon defeated Chris Sabin in 8:50 by pinfall with the Back Cracker. [83]

After his win, Carlito demands a microphone while Chris Sabin is helped out of the arena...

Carlito: So at Bound for Glory, I’m scheduled to be fighting for the new TNA US Title and you know, actually that’s cool. What isn’t cool though is that there are several guys challenging for the title as well, it don’t work that way. Not with this big Foley versus Layfield, Inc. affair which is sure to cause every title match to be as intense as it possibly could get. As the only man going after the US Title who matters, and as the man who should be getting a rematch against Steve Corino anyhow, I demand something to be done about all those people challenging for the US Title next to me. In fact, I have done so already so if you would please get your sorry asses out of here, Daniels, RVD, Hogan if you must and oh ... Abyss can come too.

Abyss comes out first, accompanied by James Mitchell, and they get to the ring to stand next to their fellow Layfield, Inc. member, then Christopher Daniels walks down to the ring and last but not least, Rob Van Dam and Hulk Hogan come down the aisle as well. Abyss says nothing but Daniels cuts Hogan and RVD short and speaks up...

http://i454.photobucket.com/albums/qq267/Harmor666/TEW/Abyss2.jpghttp://i454.photobucket.com/albums/qq267/Harmor666/TEW/JamesMitchell.jpghttp://i454.photobucket.com/albums/qq267/Harmor666/TEW/CDaniels.jpghttp://i454.photobucket.com/albums/qq267/Harmor666/TEW/RobVanDam.jpghttp://i454.photobucket.com/albums/qq267/Harmor666/TEW/HulkHogan.jpg

Daniels: What now? Are you trying to weasel your way out of a contest, Carli? You want that belt to be handed to you? Man, you’re getting more ridiculous by the week, you realize that?

RVD: Wait Chris ... maybe Carlito has something to say that matters among all the whining. Let’s see if he can surprise us!

Hogan: I doubt it, brother.

Abyss stares at them menacingly and seems ready to attack but Mitchell holds him back.

Carlito: Well, it is very simple. Foley introduced this belt we’re all hunting and JBL put some sort of framework on it. Next week, RVD, Daniels ... and my good buddy Abyss here will face off in a three way match to determine who the other challenger to the belt will be. The winner goes on to face me one on one at Bound for Glory.

Hogan, RVD and Daniels stare at one another ...

Hogan: And Abyss is surely in the match because he is so deserving of a shot at the US Title as well, right? Well brother, I can’t speak for RVD or Daniels but I can only admire JBL for his cunning and his wits. But bro ... I’ll be at ringside and I’ll make sure that nothing dodgy will happen, how about that?

Carlito: Oh you won’t, Hogan, you...

RVD: Says who? Hey, JBL put the frame as you said ... now we’re just adding to it, allright?

Daniels: Okay, then. RVD versus Abyss versus me next week on Impact – see you at Bound for Glory, Carli.

Daniels walks off, determination on his face. Hogan and RVD, looking slightly irritated at Daniels’ last comment, are not far behind and they leave the Layfield, Inc. trio standing in center ring as we cut to commercials. 87

Tenay: Before the break, a huge match was made for next week! Christopher Daniels versus Rob Van Dam versus Abyss with US title top contendership on the line!

Taz: A huge match indeed, but it's Layfield, Inc. attempting to get their perfect match at Bound for Glory for the US belt - which of course would be Abyss versus Carlito Colon so that no matter the winner, JBL's bunch will have one belt for sure. This is disgusting!

Bischoff: It's just about contendership, Taz, nothing else. Abyss hasn't been in a title match since quite some time, and all in the while he has been nothing but deserving of a shot. And now that it finally may happen for him, you shouldn't ...

Taz: What-ever, Bisch. Quit babbling and let's get to the next match of the night, okay?

Tenay: Thank you Taz.

http://i454.photobucket.com/albums/qq267/Harmor666/TEW/SheltonBenjamin.jpghttp://i454.photobucket.com/albums/qq267/Harmor666/TEW/CharlieHaas.jpghttp://i454.photobucket.com/albums/qq267/Harmor666/TEW/ColtCabana.jpghttp://i454.photobucket.com/albums/qq267/Harmor666/TEW/AustinAries-1.jpg

The World’s Greatest Tag Team vs. Colt Cabana and Austin Aries

A fine match of all four, but WGTT just simply have much more experience under their belts as a team. It began to tell eventually, with Benjamin and Haas making quick tags to wear Cabana and Aries down, and it lead to Benjamin hammering Aries with the Paydirt for the one, two and three.

The World’s Greatest Tag Team defeated Colt Cabana and Austin Aries in 7:42 by pinfall when Shelton Benjamin defeated Austin Aries with the Paydirt. [83]

Benjamin and Haas celebrate their victory and Shelton Benjamin requests a microphone...

Benjamin: So, AJ ... since I haven’t heard from you since last week, does it mean I can consider you a coward now? Do you want to at least come out here and admit defeat? Admit that I’m the better wrestler? Come on AJ, don’t be so shy ...

Haas smiles and they wait for a moment amidst thunderous boos ... until finally, AJ Styles’ music blasts over the speakers and he comes out with Ric Flair. They get a massive ovation from the fans and walk down to the ring...

http://i454.photobucket.com/albums/qq267/Harmor666/TEW/AJStyles.jpghttp://i454.photobucket.com/albums/qq267/Harmor666/TEW/RicFlair.jpg

Flair: Woooooooo! You guys think you scared us last week, don’t you? You guys think you have the upper hand? Think again!

Styles: Shelton, I don’t even know why I’m even out here. You’re annoying, obnoxious, and I beat you not too long ago, fair and square if you might want to remember. But okay man ... you want a rematch? You’ll get it, and if only so that I can get your miserable hide out of my sight when I beat you again. Bound for Glory – AJ Styles versus Shelton Benjamin.

Benjamin: I’m surprised you even dare to come out after the shellacking I ...

Haas: We ...

Benjamin: ... We gave you last week. But I’m glad you did because it means our match is official now. At Bound for Glory I’ll ...

Styles: Whatever you’re about to tell me, I’m absolutely sure it’s nothing that’ll teach me anything new so don’t bother, man. See you at Bound for Glory.

Styles and Flair walk off as AJ’s music blasts once more and both Benjamin and Haas look pissed off. Off to commercials we go ... 95

http://i454.photobucket.com/albums/qq267/Harmor666/TEW/Batista.jpghttp://i454.photobucket.com/albums/qq267/Harmor666/TEW/MattMorgan.jpg

Batista vs. Matt Morgan

A decent big man brawl, both men going blow for blow, hit for hit. They relied utterly on their brute strength, and so it turned into a slugfest. Batista countered a lariat by dodging and lifting a knee that hit Morgan’s guts, and quickly followed with the Batista Bomb. The end!

Batista defeated Matt Morgan in 10:14 by pinfall with the Batista Bomb. [76]

A convincing win for Batista as he stays in the ring after the match ...

Batista: So as I’m standing here right now, victorious over one of JBL’s chosen ones, I once again challenge for the TNA World Heavyweight Championship! Whoever wins at Bound for Glory, Joe or Chris, be aware that I’m coming after you, period. So Bradshaw, Mick, one of you will be gone in a couple of weeks, but to the one who stays I’ll say – be aware that the animal is here to stay as well!

IF YA SMEEELLLLL-LA-LA-LAAAA…

http://i454.photobucket.com/albums/qq267/Harmor666/TEW/TheRock2-1.jpg

The Rock: The Rock can’t help but notice that you keep on demanding and challenging and this and that, Dave, but when push comes to shove, you’re not the animal, you’re the world’s biggest pushover The Rock has ever seen! Samoa Joe beat you at No Surrender and if anybody should be getting a shot at the champ, it’s The Rock ...

Batista is furious and looks about to lose it, but Samoa Joe's music hits and it might be the only thing to prevent an attack ...

http://i454.photobucket.com/albums/qq267/Harmor666/TEW/SamoaJoe.jpg

Joe: Wait a minute, Rocky. Rest assured I can speak for myself, man. Dave, you need to understand there’s a certain ... pecking order in TNA. Guy A beats guy B – guy A gets a shot at a title eventually, guy B has to wait. That’s how it works in TNA and how it should be. Even Bradshaw accepts it that way. But you? Dave, you are slowly but constantly getting on everybody’s nerves ...

Chris Jericho's music now plays, and he makes his way down the aisle accompanied by JBL ...

http://i454.photobucket.com/albums/qq267/Harmor666/TEW/ChrisJericho.jpghttp://i454.photobucket.com/albums/qq267/Harmor666/TEW/JohnLayfield.jpg

JBL: Look who is arguing once again – the supposed “united front against Layfield, Inc.”. You guys are ridiculous, do you know that? It’s going to be your undoing at Bound for Glory.

Jericho: You beat Matt Morgan allright, Dave. Fine, good job and something that not many man in TNA can do, I applaud you. But if you challenge for this belt (taps the gold hanging from his shoulder), it means going one on one with ME! That’s a whole different world you’re entering, an entirely different level, Dave – a level that is leaps and bounds above yours. The same goes for Rock, Joe, for everybody who’ll ever challenge me. I’m Chris Jericho, TNA World Heavyweight Champion - and I’m here to goddamn stay!

TNA World Tag Team champions Kurt Angle and Mick Foley come out next ...

http://i454.photobucket.com/albums/qq267/Harmor666/TEW/MickFoley.jpghttp://i454.photobucket.com/albums/qq267/Harmor666/TEW/KurtAngle.jpg

Foley: I’ve always believed in ambition, guys. I WANT everybody in TNA to be ambitious and give it his best each and every week. That’s what TNA is all about, and that’s why Dave demands a title shot. That’s why Rocky wants another shot at the belt and that’s why Samoa Joe is actually GETTING his shot at Bound for Glory. Same goes for Kurt here, who I’m absolutely thankful for to be my partner in these trying times. You on the other hand want people to stand in line, not to speak out of turn and what not, JBL, it’s absolutely mind blowing to think what hellhole you’d turn TNA into if you were the sole owner for another six months. I won’t allow that to happen, Bradshaw. I WANT people to walk up to me and tell me what they want. I want communication and MY doors are and will always be open.

Brock Lesnar’s music hits. He walks down the aisle and gets into the ring, his features loaded with purpose ...

Lesnar: Open doors, right Mick? We’ll get to that in due time, Foley. The waiting time for me ... is over. I can only support Dave’s case ... but I am not Dave Batista. I’m Brock Lesnar and I’m the most ambitious man this world will ever know. I’m a dual sports World Champion, a former All American, an all purpose weapon of destruction. I’m a prototype athlete the likes of which hasn’t been seen in TNA before and I’m coming for this belt once Bound for Glory is over.

Lesnar leaves the ring again, everyone watching him depart in stunned silence as this was the first time since he is in TNA that he made it known he would challenge for a belt. JBL cracks a wicked smile and we’re going to the announce booth... 100

Tenay: The friction is getting more and more intense with every week that we come closer to Bound for Glory. Now Brock Lesnar is going after the title as well and the temperatures are near boiling point. But what will happen once we get to that point? One side will have to give, either Foley or JBL will be history after Bound for Glory. We’ll find out in a mere 2 weeks.

Taz: I’m pumped Mike, trust me on that. But we’re not even done tonight ...

Bischoff: True! Hogan, RVD and Daniels trying to get a win over Abyss and the Alpha Legion – are you kidding me?

Tenay: How about we find out – next!

Hulk Hogan, Rob Van Dam and Christopher Daniels vs. Abyss and The Alpha Legion

Layfield, Inc’s big men began this match in dominant fashion as Van Dam and Daniels were both tossed around like ragdolls. From the apron, Hogan fired his teammates up but for quite some time, only brief comebacks could be mounted that quickly were overturned. Abyss then went for his Blackhole Slam on Daniels but RVD dropkicked him in the back, giving the Fallen Angel the chance to tag the Hulkster in. He no sold whatever it was that Abyss threw at him and laid the charging monster out with a big boot. When Tomko and Gallows interfered they met the same fate and Hogan flattened Tomko with the Guillotine Leg Drop. But Abyss was back up to clothesline the Hulkster down. Rob Van Dam climbed the turnbuckle – Five Star Frog Splash on Tomko while Daniels kept Abyss busy – and Earl Hebner obviously had enough of all the interferences and just wanted the match to end, because he ignored the fact RVD wasn’t the legal man and counted the pinfall – one, two and three.

Hulk Hogan, Rob Van Dam and Christopher Daniels defeated Abyss and The Alpha Legion in 19:40 when Rob Van Dam defeated Tomko by pinfall with a Five Star Frog Splash. [81]

A whole host of security is darting down to the ring the second the match is over as all six men look to simply continue the brawl. Some shots are being fired but the sheer amount of staff members overwhelms the combatants ad keeps everything in order. The fans in the arena are fired up as we get a few replays from the match before TNA Impact cuts to credits ...

Post Show:

Robert Roode defeated Jeff Jarrett in 9:50 by pinfall with a Fisherman's Suplex. [62]

Final Show Rating: 84

Once again, thanks for following, commenting and predicting guys, very much appreciated. These are the results for Week 2 in October and we have ourselves a tie at the top:

michgcs: 5/6

Kijar: 5/6

BHK1978: 4/6

Destiny: 1/6

Might have ended up last this time, I'm glad to have you back in the predictions, Destiny. I've come up with a price for the guy winning the Bound for Glory prediction round: Whoever wins it (there'll be a tiebreaker) gets to decide just who I'm going to push in 2012 (as I'm almost at year's end in the game). It'll all be handled via pm obviously and will depend a little on what levels the game lets the guy reach, but I'll try my hardest ;) ...

Anyhow, here's for the LAST Impact before Bound for Glory as we're heading for the huge, deciding showdown between Mick Foley and Layfield, Inc. Monday Week 3, October 2011 ...

I can’t wait for their encounter.</p><p> </p><p> <strong>Tenay:</strong> An encounter that is up next is the challenger to Chris Jericho's TNA World title, Samoa Joe, taking on Robert Roode of Beer Money, Inc. in singles competition. Jericho, all talk is cheap and you know that. Let me “This Sunday” you, Chris – this Sunday, you are going to face a side of me that was so far hidden. Oh and I forgot ... except a few of your henchmen, neither can anybody else in Layfield, Inc. be ambitious. You decide that? You come here and pretend to be a benevolent owner and want to decide everybody’s fate? Not as long as I am here, JBL.</p><p> </p><p> <strong>Angle:</strong> You have crossed the line so many times it’s beyond ridiculous meanwhile, which is why everybody here in TNA should be happy about Bound for Glory finally being there in less than a week. JBL, you’ve pulled these little shenanigans with me, with AJ, with Rock ... and now with Joe. You have managed to alienate half the roster! You have managed to make these fans hate, truly hate, you and everyone associated with you, while among your henchmen are some of the finest men this company had to offer. They are all a mere shadow of their former self, including Chris Jericho. They resort to your ridiculous scheming for their matches when before they could get by on their own. You, JBL, are making everybody a lesser wrestler than he was before, and that, JBL, wrestling, is what TNA is all about.</p><p> </p><p> <strong>JBL:</strong> Kurt, you’re out of your mind and hell – what are you of all people going to do about it?</p><p> </p><p> <strong>Angle:</strong> My share of it, Bradshaw, only my share ...</p><p> </p><p> <strong>Joe:</strong> Just like I. We’ll all do exactly that, Bradshaw ... and because of that, nothing you have just said to me or said before will even matter anymore, because when Bound for Glory is over, you’ll be history.</p><p> </p><p> <strong>JBL:</strong> You wish, Joe, you wish. Truth of the matter is, Layfield, Inc. is here to stay, and nothing that you, Mick, Kurt or anybody else can do will make a difference. None whatsoever. We’re superior in every possible way, and like I said before, there is NO way, I repeat, NO WAY for Layfield, Inc. to lose three matches out of five. Foley, you’re delusional if you think your arbitrarily selected bunch of rejects has a chance of defeating us three times in one night while Layfield, Inc. was handpicked by me as the selection of the greatest wrestlers this business has to offer. </p><p> </p><p> <strong>Foley:</strong> I’ll let you mess around with your crystal ball a little longer JBL, but at Bound for Glory, your bubble is going to burst, trust me on that. When push comes to shove, those who chose to stand against you are in it with their hearts, not only with their wallets. That’s why you hopefully enjoy these days as a person in power JBL, because they are your last.</p><p> </p><p> <strong><span style="color:#8B0000;">JBL scoffs at the trio and leaves the ring, aggravated and most likely wishing to have his stable with him right now. Shelton Benjamin is in for a rude awakening ...</p><p> </p><p> <strong>Tenay:</strong> And we’re in for the main event of the night where the second challenger for the US Title next to Carlito Colon will be established. But first, a short commercial break so stay tuned for Rob Van Dam versus Abyss versus Christopher Daniels!</p><p> </p><p> </p><blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="31310" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div><div style="text-align:center;"><span>http://i454.photobucket.com/albums/qq267/Harmor666/TEW/RobVanDam.jpg</span><span>http://i454.photobucket.com/albums/qq267/Harmor666/TEW/CDaniels.jpg</span><span>http://i454.photobucket.com/albums/qq267/Harmor666/TEW/Abyss2.jpg</span></div><p></p><p></p><p> </p><div style="text-align:center;"><p><strong>Rob Van Dam vs. Christopher Daniels vs. Abyss</strong></p></div><p></p><p> RVD and Daniels teamed up right from the opening bell to take Abyss out of the equation. It began to take its toll on the big man, but then, perhaps prematurely, Daniels shifted focus and attacked RVD. This gave Abyss time to recuperate on the outside, get back in the mix and take control of the match. Blackhole Slam on Daniels connected but Van Dam broke the pin up, and then Carlito Colon came to ringside. RVD was distracted and laid out by a devastating lariat, but thankfully, Christopher Daniels had regained enough composure to kick the monster off RVD during the three count. Carlito slid a chair into the ring for Abyss to use, but Daniels picked it up. Van Dam was now back in the mix – Daniels tossed the chair over to Van Dam, who in turn threw it at Abyss and the monster caught it. Mitchell was yelling desperately at his monster – for naught as Rob Van Dam dropkicked Abyss to lay him out with the Van Daminator! Abyss was now down and RVD celebrated – a little too early as Daniels had just been waiting for this – Angel’s Wings! – one, two and three!</p><p> </p><p> </p><div style="text-align:center;"><p><strong>Christopher Daniels defeated Rob Van Dam and Abyss in 14:07 when Christopher Daniels defeated Rob Van Dam by pinfall with the Angel’s Wings. Seeing the monster edge in, Carlito stops yelling at Mitchell and decides it is perhaps wise to not press the issue any further as Daniels climbs the second turnbuckle in all four corners, celebrating his newly won top contender status.</span></strong></p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> <strong>Tenay:</strong> Christopher Daniels is going to Bound for Glory! We now have the full card for Sunday’s huge event, despite Carlito’s attempt to make the match for the US title a Layfield, Inc. only affair. Well played!</p><p> </p><p> <strong>Bischoff:</strong> Both Daniels and RVD should be disqualified! A chair was used to clearly change the outcome of this match. How is this legal?</p><p> </p><p> <strong>Taz:</strong> Carlito brought the chair ...</p><p> </p><p> <strong>Tenay:</strong> ... And I don’t quite think he wanted to Abyss to take a seat on it to take a break. Folks, what an event Bound for Glory has shaped up to be. The entire fate, the direction of our company is on the line as every title match counts towards either Mick Foley or Layfield, Inc. One will have to give in this best of five scenario. Don’t miss Bound for Glory next Sunday, only on Pay Per View! Until then, for Eric Bischoff and Taz, I’m Mike Tenay, saying good night everybody.</p><p> </p><p> <strong><span style="color:#8B0000;">Impact cuts to credits ...</span></strong></p><p> </p><p> <strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;">Final Show Rating:</span></strong><strong> </strong><strong><span style="color:#00FF00;">88</span></strong></p><p> </p><p> <strong>*Later on in the week, Rey Mysterio Jr. was busted using drugs and it went out in the open, being reported first on totalextremewrestling.com*</strong></p>

<p>Right you guys, thanks for reading once again and with Bound for Glory next, don't forget there's a price for BfG's prediction contest - the winner will get to choose just which worker will be pushed in 2012 (because in the game, I am already at year's end <img alt=";)" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/wink.png.686f06e511ee1fbf6bdc7d82f6831e53.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /> ..). That said, it can be anybody really, but I'll send the winning predictor a PM with the roster as of November 2011. In case there's a tie, there'll be a tie breaker round next Impact. Anyhow, here's your results for Impact:</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>BHK1978: 5/6</strong></p><p><strong>

Kijar: 4/6</strong></p><p><strong>

michgcs: 4/6</strong></p><p> </p><p>

So let's move forward to the big one. Bound for Glory - either Mick Foley or JBL will have no more power in TNA when the night is over. Five titles are on the line, and both sides have a representative in each match to determine the overall winner in a best of five series. Whoever holds at least three titles when the night is over wins 100% ownership of TNA. Here's the card ...</p><p> </p><p>

Live from the Metrodome in Minneapolis, Minnesota

Bound for Glory starts off with massive pyros and the 65000 fans in the arena are on their feet, cameras flashing, celebrating the biggest annual TNA show. On the video screen and for the fans at home, still images run down the card as we go to the announce booth ...

http://i454.photobucket.com/albums/qq267/Harmor666/TEW/MikeTenay-1.jpghttp://i454.photobucket.com/albums/qq267/Harmor666/TEW/EricBischoff.jpghttp://i454.photobucket.com/albums/qq267/Harmor666/TEW/Taz.jpg

Tenay: Hello and welcome to Bound for Glory where the affair, the ordeal, and let’s call it as it is, the war between Layfield, Inc. and the men around Mick Foley will finally come to an end. Tonight, five titles are on the line and every match counts towards either JBL’s or Foley’s cause, in a playoff style best of five series.

Taz: Yes Mike, and I can’t wait for us to begin! Whoever wins this “playoff” wins full control, full ownership of TNA so once the night is over, either JBL or Mick Foley will be in full control. Four titles are taken at the moment, with the TNA US Title having been introduced especially for this occasion by Mick Foley which is still vacant, but not for long anymore ...

Bischoff: Indeed not, Taz, as that’s our opening match – Carlito Colon takes on Christopher Daniels and of course we all know that Daniels has nothing on Carlito and ...

Taz: Let’s just watch the match, okay?

We return to a full view of the crowd as the bell rings for the opening match of the night ...

Carlito Colon vs. Christopher Daniels

Daniels and Carlito started out slowly, no one wanting to make the first mistake. The momentum changed back and forth as they met eye to eye. Carlito eventually took control and scored on a few nearfalls, complaining about a slow count every time. Daniels bounced back and landed a nearfall of his own on a quick cradle, Carlito getting back up quickly afterwards. He charged but the Fallen Angel dodged and met Carlito Colon with the Angel’s Wings after the mistake Daniels had been waiting for all match. One, two and three and this one was over!

Christopher Daniels defeated Carlito Colon in 14:12 by pinfall with the Angel’s Wings. Christopher Daniels wins the TNA US Title. 76

The crowd erupts and celebrates with Christopher Daniels who has just become the first ever TNA US Champion. Carlito leaves, red hot with anger, and Daniels climbs all four corners to raise his belt as we return to the broadcast booth ...

Taz: A glorious win for Christopher Daniels and congratulations to him for becoming the first ever TNA United States Champion! Hey, you guys realize with Foley and Angle being World Tag Team Champions and Steve Corino holding the TV Title, it’s Foley 3 and JBL 2? Eat that, Bradshaw!

Bischoff: Oh how you’re going to eat your words at the end of the night, Taz!

Tenay: And we have ourselves the next title match to follow, Desmond Wolfe putting his X-Division belt on the line against former five-time champion Jay Lethal!

Desmond Wolfe © vs. Jay Lethal

Lethal went in with reckless abandon and Wolfe was in trouble to start out. He tried to flee to the outside but the challenger followed and threw Wolfe into the guardrail, much to the delight of the crowd. Jay Lethal was in control now and looked for all the world to win the belt, but the Englishman rebounded eventually and made this a contest. Lethal was now being dismantled by the master of European wrestling, and the X-Division champ concentrated on Lethal’s right knee to keep him grounded, twisting and turning the joint awkwardly. Lethal cried out but Wolfe had him – but in a huge effort, Jay Lethal squirmed out of right another submission move and rolled Wolfe up – nearfall! Both champion and challenger got up at the same time and Lethal brought Wolfe down with head scissors followed up by a guillotine leg drop out of Hogan’s playbook. Lethal went to the top rope now, but with his knee handicap it took him a while too long and Wolfe went over to throw the challenger off. Lethal landed in center ring, the impact having taken the wind out of him. He got back up however but Wolfe was ready – Jawbreaker Lariat and the title defense!

Desmond Wolfe defeated Jay Lethal in 13:44 by pinfall with the Jawbreaker Lariat. Desmond Wolfe makes defense number 5 of his TNA X-Division Title. 82

Both men get a standing ovation from the crowd for their efforts, regardless of the fact that Wolfe is with Layfield, Inc. He doesn’t celebrate for long however as he is of course well aware of the implications for tonight and heads backstage instead.

Taz: It wasn’t meant to be for Lethal but what a great match this was! I think the fans are damn right in applauding Wolfe as he put on a great performance as well.

Bischoff: I won’t disagree this time, Taz – both men really showed their abilities but Wolfe had the edge tonight. I feel dirty saying it but respect to Jay Lethal!

Tenay: (Sigh) I am being informed of something going on backstage guys, so let's switch cameras and let's see and hear what's happening ...

The camera shifts backstage to the office of JBL where he is addressing Layfield, Inc., who are gathered around his desk ...

http://i454.photobucket.com/albums/qq267/Harmor666/TEW/JohnLayfield.jpghttp://i454.photobucket.com/albums/qq267/Harmor666/TEW/ChrisJericho.jpghttp://i454.photobucket.com/albums/qq267/Harmor666/TEW/MVP2.jpghttp://i454.photobucket.com/albums/qq267/Harmor666/TEW/KenAnderson.jpghttp://i454.photobucket.com/albums/qq267/Harmor666/TEW/ChrisHeroB.jpghttp://i454.photobucket.com/albums/qq267/Harmor666/TEW/CCastagnoli.jpghttp://i454.photobucket.com/albums/qq267/Harmor666/TEW/Carlito.jpg

JBL: Okay, I want you all to listen and listen very carefully – no more screw ups! I’m looking at YOU, Carlito! No more of that stuff, you hear me? I’ll let it slip once but look where we stand right now – it’s 3-2 Foley. I ain’t having this, you hear me? I know you all are able enough to do your part, but by the end of the night, it has to be at least 3-2 LAYFIELD, INC.! You have to tattoo that into your mind if you can’t otherwise remember what’s at stake here tonight. You, MVP ... I know you’re not a, well, FULL member of Layfield, Inc. and all but I’m sure you’d like to have some gold around your waist, right? RIGHT? And you’d also like to do YOUR boss, your current and future boss, the favor to beat Steve Corino. Right?

MVP: Ri...

JBL: RIGHT! Now get out there and get that damn belt, will you?

MVP departs, followed by Mr. Anderson ...

JBL: You, Chris and Claudio ... what the hell are you doing here instead of preparing for your match later on? Get out and do ... what you do to prepare for a match. Damn it do I have to do the thinking for everyone here?

They rush out of the office ...

Jericho: Calm down, Bradshaw. You’re too edgy for your own good – this’ll all be sorted and if it comes down to the last match of the night, which happens to be me against Joe, so be it – I’ll handle him and this will all be sorted, okay?

JBL seems to be at a loss for words and just stares at Jericho as we return to the ring fr the next match in the JBL vs. Foley saga ... 100

Steve Corino © vs. MVP

Both reached deep into their arsenals for this match. They clearly showed some nerves to open the match, an unease thanks to the huge predicament of this card and as such, they traded momentum back and forth. MVP eventually seized control of the match when he snuck a cheapshot in referee Mark Johnson couldn’t register. With MVP on top of the match, it looked for all the world as if it was just a matter of time for him to win the title, but Corino’s resilience proved him wrong and he made it out of every situation by sheer force of will. MVP became increasingly frustrated but even dodgy tactics wouldn’t do the trick for him. Then Corino mounted a comeback and the fans witnessed some good old chain wrestling. This started in a standing position, went to the mat and back up when Corino attempted his Island Plex, but MVP blocked and attempted the Playmaker. Not so fast however – Corino squirmed free and now the Island Plex connected – one, two and three from out of nowhere!

Steve Corino defeated MVP in 16:18 by pinfall with the Island Plex. Steve Corino makes defense number 2 of his TNA TV Title. 85

Corino runs wild in celebration of his title defense and it’s still Foley 3, JBL 2 as the fans cheer at the top of their voices. MVP shakes his head in frustration and leaves but through the crowd comes Mr. Anderson! He slides into the ring and before Steve Corino knows he’s even there, attacks him from behind! Corino then gets shoved and thrust forwards in between the turnbuckles and crashes hard against the ringpost. Anderson pulls him back into the ring, get to the top rope – Kenton Bomb! To end things, with MVP disappearing through the curtain with a final, indifferent look, Anderson drapes the TV Title over Corino and departs just before security and paramedics arrive on scene. 99

Taz: What the hell was that all about? Layfield, Inc. getting a measure of revenge because they can’t seem to deliver the goods in-ring?

Bischoff: I know you’d blame JBL for global warming if you could get away with it but I doubt that Layfield, Inc. is involved this time. It’s either Mr. Anderson making it personal because Corino beat his friend MVP or this is a challenge – either way he surely got whatever message it was across!

Tenay: Either way I’m sure we’ll hear more on this issue very soon but let’s now get to a very special encounter, one that was brewing since quite some time – there has been tension, friction even, not only between Mick Foley and JBL but between three men who are constantly near a shot at the World Heavyweight Title – Batista, Brock Lesnar and The Rock! All three men have valid claims to challenge for the belt, but only one man can be the top contender and we are about to find out just who that man is!

We are treated to a small video package before the match ...

http://i454.photobucket.com/albums/qq267/Harmor666/TEW/Batista.jpghttp://i454.photobucket.com/albums/qq267/Harmor666/TEW/TheRock2-1.jpghttp://i454.photobucket.com/albums/qq267/Harmor666/TEW/BrockLesnar.jpg

Batista vs. The Rock vs. Brock Lesnar

This quickly turned into a slugfest when all three started throwing punches wildly at the others. Referee Brian Hebner had his work cut out for him and was forced to interfere a lot in the early goings of the match, reprimanding everybody and threatening to throw the match out. There was a semblance of order after the stern talking to, and now a measure of an actual match could be watched. All three men traded control around, and at the fifteen minute mark, the first pinfall attempts were started in earnest. They were broken up everytime by the third man involved in the match however and this looked like it was going to take a long time. However, everyone now looked for the decision, and it became even more intense now with the flood gates opening. The Rock tried to lay out Batista with the Rock Bottom only to be stopped by Brock Lesnar, which enabled Batista to ready the great one for the Batista Bomb. Lesnar had only been waiting for it however and kicked Batista’s knees hard, who collapsed and got buried under The Rock. Lesnar picked Rock up for the Verdict but in the last moment, Batista held on to Lesnar’s ankle and brought him off balance. Rock dropped and hit the Rock Bottom on Batista now, ducked Lesnar’s charge and prepared to lay Brock out too, but when Rock turned to deliver his finisher, Lesnar was already back to balance and speared The Rock almost out of the ring. Batista then got back to his feet, kicked Lesnar in the gut and attempted the Batista Bomb, but in an amazing display, Lesnar slid out and landed on his feet. Batista was caught off guard and with The Rock still trying to regain his wits, Lesnar used Batista's momentary unawareness to execute the Verdict! One, two and three!

Brock Lesnar defeated Batista and The Rock in 20:07 by pinfall when Brock Lesnar defeated Batista with the Verdict. 86

Brock Lesnar raises his arms triumphantly as he is announced the new top contender for the TNA World Heavyweight Title! Batista, who had taken the devastating finisher of Lesnar, gets up and right into The Rock’s face, who doesn’t even seem to know why – they start pushing each other back and forth, and with Lesnar retreating in satisfaction, security has to prevent a brawl between Batista and The Rock ...

Taz: Everybody beware – Brock Lesnar is the new top contender to the TNA World Heavyweight Title when the evening is out, no matter what happens in the title match!

Bischoff: An impressive match by all three men but Lesnar was perhaps just a little more impressive than the others and with a sound strategy, secured himself the win here tonight. He hasn’t lost a whole lot in TNA, in fact only once against Samoa Joe under, well, rather dubious circumstances involving AJ Styles.

Taz: Jumping on a bandwagon?

Bischoff: Just saying it as it is, Taz.

Tenay: That’s rare Eric, if I may intersect. Let’s get ready for our Tag Team Title match ...

Foley & Angle © vs. The Kings of Wrestling

The vast experience in tag team wrestling showed to start the match and the challengers took control, keeping 50% owner Mick Foley isolated from his corner. Sporadic outbursts of offense not withstanding, Foley was being dominated for the most part. The announcers said JBL would most likely enjoy this greatly backstage when Double C had him pinned in the corner of the ring and the Kings started their work on him. Angle was furious, yelling inaudibly at Foley to make the tag but it wouldn’t happen, and Chris Hero began to mock him. This enraged Angle even more and he got into the ring, only to be cut off by referee Rudy Charles. The Kings had of course done this on purpose and were now double teaming Mick Foley, and it took a while for the official to register it. The damage was done and this match turned increasingly one sided until Foley double clotheslined the Kings when they actually tried to do the same to him. Crawling to his corner, he was fired up by Angle and the fans and with a last effort, Foley leapt the last foot or two just when Hero and Castagnoli were almost on him again. Angle came in and started a demolition derby! He unleashed his frustration on the challengers and they were turned into ragdolls. Castagnoli was caught with the Angle Slam but Chris Hero broke the cover up. Charles gave him a stern talking to while Angle yelled profanity at Hero, and Castagnoli had been waiting. Back on his knees, Castagnoli was right behind Angle and delivered a forearm shot to the groin that had the announcers wince. Angle collapsed, but Foley wasn’t having any of this. He got in and laid Double C out with the Double DDT. The Swiss native was down and seemed on dream street, with Angle busy dragging himself back up by the ropes. Hero used this and behind the referee, who was busy with Foley, ran around the corner on the apron and delivered a running knee to the head of Kurt Angle. The Olympic gold medalist collapsed and Chris Hero got into the ring. Charles had apparently lost control of who was officially in the match because he let it continue when Hero slid underneath Foley’s charge and laid him out with the Hero’s Welcome. The fans groaned and roared, disbelief in their eyes, when Charles counted – one, two, three – we had ourselves new tag team champions!

The Kings of Wrestling defeated Foley & Angle in 24:57 when Chris Hero defeated Mick Foley by pinfall with the Hero’s Welcome. The Kings of Wrestling win the TNA World Tag Team titles. 83

Bischoff: They did it! They did it! Chris Hero and Claudio Castagnoli defeated two of the most decorated men in TNA and took those Tag Team belts away! Great show and it’s now, ha-ha, JBL 3, Foley 2 – and you know the best of this is that Mick Foley himself was defeated!

Tenay: Hero and Castagnoli absolutely HAD to get this win and they made it. Had they lost, JBL would have been out of TNA regardless of the outcome between Samoa Joe and Chris Jericho so the pressure on them was immense. While I’m quite shocked I must say, I have to give it to them – they surely didn’t crack under pressure.

Taz: No they didn’t, Mike, but this is absolutely horrible news to every TNA fan. We know what Layfield, Inc. have done in the past to get matches to swing their way, and with Jericho as champion, they have the edge now going into tonight’s main event.

Tenay: I hear Foley and Angle are standing by backstage. Let’s switch over and hear what they have to say ...

Camera magic brings us backstage where both Angle and Foley look the worse for wear as they stand in their locker room. Both look gutted and seem to have a hard time to come to terms with this loss from moments ago ...

http://i454.photobucket.com/albums/qq267/Harmor666/TEW/KurtAngle.jpghttp://i454.photobucket.com/albums/qq267/Harmor666/TEW/MickFoley.jpg

Foley: I ... I’m sorry, Kurt, I ...

Angle: (clears throat) ... Mick you know ... I know this is bad, this is really bad but it’s not all lost, it just isn’t!

Foley: We’ve come such a long way and got so close and ...

Angle: GET YOUR ACT TOGETHER, MICK! Damn it! There’s one more match and it’s NOT all over for crying out loud. What the hell is wrong with you?

Foley: I ... I had such great plans, Kurt ... such great plans and ... now they're all ...

In walks Samoa Joe ... and the crowd in the arena goes nuts.

http://i454.photobucket.com/albums/qq267/Harmor666/TEW/SamoaJoe.jpg

Joe: I second that. It’s simple Mick, you win some and you lose some but tonight, I am NOT going to lose. I won’t, Mick. I know it’s gonna be brutally tough, and I know this is probably the most demanding match in my career with an absolutely insane predicament, but I won’t lose. It’s a promise, Mick!

Foley: And what if ...

Joe: There is no what if as far as I’m concerned, Mick. But okay, what if I lose? That’s simple, man, very simple ... if I lose I’ll be out of a job tomorrow after Impact, that’s for sure.

Joe departs and leaves Angle and Foley standing as we return to the booth.

Tenay: Joe's talking about getting fired by JBL! No more Samoa Joe in TNA? That, folks, is a very sobering thought.

Bischoff: But it’s something that could very well come true. Chris Jericho is TNA World Heavyweight Champion now since eight months and his grip around the belt is stronger than ever before and I don’t see that change tonight. Joe will learn that you don’t make promises you can’t keep, I’m sure of that.

Taz: I just can’t picture ...

Bischoff: Hm?

Taz: Never mind ...

Tenay: Before that though, Shelton Benjamin is going one on one with AJ Styles and we'll finally find out just who the better man is! Let's head over to the ring ...

http://i454.photobucket.com/albums/qq267/Harmor666/TEW/AJStyles.jpghttp://i454.photobucket.com/albums/qq267/Harmor666/TEW/SheltonBenjamin.jpg

AJ Styles vs. Shelton Benjamin

Benjamin had a lot to prove and thus he went in all guns blazing. While Styles managed to fend him off at times, the start of the match belonged to Shelton Benjamin. Back and forth action as both went all out followed after a Styles comeback that had them back on even terms, and with Flair stirring the pot on the outside, this match became an instant classic. Ric Flair delivered his trademark ‘Woo’ everytime AJ Styles executed a move, and soon the entire crowd was doing this. Benjamin appeared unnerved by it and asked referee Mark Johnson to make this stop, but it only got him the boos of thousands of TNA fans and a shrug from the official. With the momentum changing every few minutes, both men began to show some fatigue and the first nearfalls came on both sides without anything decisive, Benjamin protesting for slow count every time. Johnson wouldn’t have any of it however and the match went on with Benjamin trying to go for a 450 splash to put Styles away, but when he took to the air there was no one home. Styles rolled out of the way, quickly dragged Benjamin up and thanks to playing possum successfully, hit home with the Styles Clash. The end!

AJ Styles defeated Shelton Benjamin in 21:54 by pinfall with the Styles Clash. 90

AJ Styles celebrates as he has overcome the challenge of Shelton Benjamin with a clean victory, and the fans cheer him on massively as he runs around the ring, high fiving first Ric Flair and then the happy fans at ringside. But will the fans be happy when the night is over? We go to a video hyping up the main event with a short rundown of the events leading up to Chris Jericho versus Samoa Joe which is next.

Chris Jericho © vs. Samoa Joe

This was the last and most intense – a battle of epic proportions. Challenger and champion met eye to eye, and it was gritty, neither one willing to give just a quarter. The announcers agreed early on that this would perhaps go down to who wanted it the most, and it sure looked that way. Following the turn of events of this night, this wasn’t just a match for the most prestigious belt TNA has to offer. The whole destiny of TNA was at stake, and both took their responsibilities very, very seriously. Joe was in charge of the action, then Jericho, Joe again and back to the champ, the fans being sent from heaven to hell on a rollercoaster of emotions. The volume was deafening in the arena, especially when pinfall attempts began to be made, and it’s likely no man was ever booed so heavily as Jericho, and no man in TNA history was ever so massively cheered on as Joe. Despite their contrasting styles, they matched each either blow for blow as they went all out towards the end, trying to find the key to unlock the match. Arriving at nearfall attempts, the crowd sensed the end coming and went wilder yet, with the announcers equally riled up. JBL arrived at ringside, followed by Mick Foley, and both cancelled each other out, slapping on the apron in support. Joe got Jericho up for the Muscle Buster but Y2J got free, leapt down and landed a superkick straight to the face. Joe collapsed and 65000 thousand people unleashed a collective groan. At the edge of his limits, Jericho signaled for the end, waiting for Samoa Joe to get back up. The challenger complied and Jericho went for the Codebreaker but had it blocked and instead, Joe leveled him with a Chokeslam! Both men were down, yet Joe willed himself to roll onto the champion for the pinfall ... one ... the audience counted along ... two and THREE! New champion! Foley looked up at the ceiling while JBL had a look of utter horror on his face ...

Samoa Joe defeated Chris Jericho in 24:54 by pinfall with a Chokeslam. Samoa Joe wins the TNA World Heavyweight Title. 89

The crowd erupts! 65000 fans in the arena are going crazy beyond measure as this is perhaps the biggest celebration of a match that was ever witnessed during a TNA event. With Samoa Joe winning the World Title, Christopher Daniels winning the US Title and Steve Corino keeping his TV Title, it’s Foley 3 and JBL 2, and this means Mick Foley is now the sole owner of TNA and JBL has lost his share of the company. Mick Foley hugs Samoa Joe and The Rock, Hulk Hogan, RVD, AJ Styles and Ric Flair, Christopher Daniels, Steve Corino and many others are coming down to the ring and Samoa Joe is lifted up and carried around the ring. Confetti is raining down into the ring and pyros are going off and we go to the announce booth ...

Tenay: I’m having goosebumps, folks. Layfield, Inc. was defeated tonight and are nowhere to be seen as this, the biggest night in TNA history, ended with Mick Foley becoming the sole owner of the company. What a night it was people, what a night it was!

Taz: I am still in awe of what we witnessed, Mike. Tonight was like the ride on a rollercoaster, the emotions going up and down and it all ended on a good note. But hey Eric, you have anything to add?

Bischoff: I ... rest my case.

Taz: I figured.

Tenay: We’ve come to the end of Bound for Glory folks, and we’re all going home happy. Tune in to Impact for all the fallout of tonight’s show! For TNA, this is Taz, Eric Bischoff and Mike Tenay saying goodnight everybody.

We cut to a final video recap, then to credits...

As I was reading this I was thinking about how bad my predictions looked, but turns out I got a semi-respectable 4/7. Huh.

Great show, some of the results surprised me, but now that Joe's the champ, and Mick the shole owner, it's going to be exciting to see where you take this. AND to see where this leaves Kurt Angle, really.

Well, thanks for reading and predicting as always as we move on from Bound for Glory. These are your results:

bcwildcatjohn: 7/7

michgcs: 4/7

Kijar: 4/7

BHK1978: 4/7

So, bc wins the prize, the first ever I'm handing out during this diary, mind you (I'll be thinking of more) with a perfect result no less. PM me your decision who you want me to push in 2012 (at your earliest convenience :p) please.

Mick Foley is now sole owner of TNA, and let's see how he is going to handle things from here on out. What are those huge plans he mentioned during the PPV? You can only find out by following TNA on Spike TV with the upcoming TNA Impact on Monday October 2011 ;)

AAAAAARRRGGH I wanna know the secret, too! Dammit, Kurt!

Can't wait for the next show! :D

:D .. Next show is coming in a short while, let's see about the secrets we won't tell ^^ ... On a related note: unless matches are advance booked on a show, I won't reveal the entire card of upcoming shows anymore (sans PPVs ofc) because sometimes that can be too much of a spoiler and without the context of the match booking on the actual show a little bit nonsensical at times. So hang on and bear with me as Impact is coming up in a bit. w00t w00t.

You know, I’m currently in the process of wading through tons and tons of paperwork and blah and lalala and what not, and right now I just simply don’t have the time for more controversy. I just really, really hope you understand that. But I understand where you’re coming from, Rock. You’re the great one, undeniably. You’ve done it all in wrestling and you’re a world renown movie star. To say I was shocked that you even CAME to TNA is the understatement of the century. But since you ARE contracted to TNA, I am, and I really hate to say it this way, YOUR boss. Still getting used to that, you know, so excuse me but... </p><p> </p><p> <strong>The Rock:</strong> The Rock liked what you had to say ‘til that last sentence...</p><p> </p><p> <strong>Foley:</strong> I wasn’t finished, okay, so bear with me. You Rock, and you Joe, are among the finest, most upstanding and overall greatest guys I have ever met in this industry, save for Kurt perhaps. I really dislike the idea that you two guys would toss all that makes you the men you are away because this title is between you. What I DO like however is the idea that you’d be going one on one for the belt ... in a great match, without cheating, just two great wrestlers going from bell to bell and giving it their all. Do you think you could do this?</p><p> </p><p> <strong>Joe:</strong> That ... and more, Mick. </p><p> </p><p> <strong>The Rock:</strong> If that is all you ask of The Rock, it can be arranged for...</p><p> </p><p> <strong><span style="color:#8B0000;">Suddenly, an unfamiliar music hits ... its threatening, dark and cold, and the arena goes dark as white fog is going off at the ramp. The fans are still stunned once he begins to speak...</span></strong></p><p> </p><p> <strong>Wight:</strong> I believe I need no introduction, right?</p><p> </p><p> <strong><span style="color:#8B0000;">A portion of the crowd begins to cheer him on...</span></strong></p><p> </p><p> <strong>Wight:</strong> Shut the hell up while I speak!</p><p> </p><p> <strong><span style="color:#8B0000;">Booing ensues...</span></strong></p><p> </p><p> <strong>Wight:</strong> You’ve been discussing a match for that title, right? Well, I think I showed up in time, then. With me being in TNA now, no single one is save. You hear that TNA? No one is save because I will bring the fury of 485 lbs in a 7 foot frame to bear in whatever I do, and at the end of the day, it’ll be ME standing tall. You Joe, you Rocky ... your days at the top of TNA are numbered, because I’ll break you in half. And that title, Joe ... enjoy your championship reign while it lasts.</p><p> </p><p> <strong><span style="color:#8B0000;">He drops his microphone and leaves the ring, with Rock, Joe and Foley thoughtfully staring after him. This enabled Haas to trip him without referee Mark Johnson noticing it, and Benjamin flattened Batista with a bicycle kick. Back in the ring, Benjamin started dominating Batista but it didn’t take the big man long to regain control. He lifted Benjamin for the Batista Bomb as Haas reached into the ring to grab Batista’s foot and yet again, Johnson didn’t see anything as Batista’s huge frame was in the way. I beat Rock and Batista...</p><p> </p><p> <strong>JBL:</strong> You’re mistaking something, Brock ... it’s not that I can make it happen ... I WILL make it happen.</p><p> </p><p> <strong>Lesnar:</strong> There’s something else, right?</p><p> </p><p> <strong>JBL:</strong> Of course there is. See, first of all I no longer run this company allright. Not a deal breaker for us, no, but something worth considering regardless. But more importantly ... Jericho will be back sooner or later. I know he’s in the hospital still and maybe for another two or three weeks, but he’ll be back eventually. Knowing him, he’ll do everything he can to get his hands on us.</p><p> </p><p> <strong>Lesnar:</strong> Well, you betrayed him didn’t you? Of course he’ll want a piece of you. But what has it to do with me?</p><p> </p><p> <strong>JBL:</strong> Everything, Brock. Everything, believe me. And for starters, I didn’t betray anyone. First of all he let ME down and cost me the ownership of TNA and secondly, it was YOU who attacked him last week. We’re in this together, Brock. Any kind of backlash to come will come at both of us but you know, that’s also not a deal breaker. I chose you as my ally because I KNOW you’re the goddamn deal here in TNA. I chose you because I, one of the most resourceful and renown men in professional wrestling today, only associate with winners. And you are undoubtedly a winner. </p><p> </p><p> <strong>Lesnar:</strong> You got that right. And yet, I’m not a contender for the world title after I beat Rock and Batista...</p><p> </p><p> <strong>JBL:</strong> Brock, let’s look at this rationally. Once Jericho is back, we’re gonna have our work cut out for us, no matter that Jericho is delusional if he thinks he could beat you. He WILL come after you and me and I would rather he doesn’t do that while you are hunting for the championship. Do you understand that?</p><p> </p><p> <strong>Lesnar:</strong> You may have a point...</p><p> </p><p> <strong>JBL:</strong> I always have ... So you know, until the day you’ve finally put him out of his misery, going after a belt with him stalking us is doomed to failure, and title shots in TNA are hard to come by as it is. So I say let’s focus on one thing at a time, okay? First step – Jericho ... next step – the TNA World Heavyweight title.</p><p> </p><p> <strong>Lesnar:</strong> I think you’re right, Bradshaw. Good thing we discussed this.</p><p> </p><p> <strong>JBL:</strong> It’s a good thing that you listen to the voice of reason other than people like Mick Foley.</p><p> </p><p> <strong>Lesnar:</strong> Bah, who cares about that self proclaimed hardcore icon? As far as I’m concerned, he is an afterthought as long as he hands me my paycheck and otherwise stays out of my way.</p><p> </p><p> <strong>JBL:</strong> That’s the spirit, Brock, that’s the spirit!</p><p> </p><p> <strong><span style="color:#8B0000;">We go back to the announcers...</span></strong><strong> </strong><strong><span style="color:#00BFFF;">100</span></strong></p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> <strong>Bischoff:</strong> I think JBL isn’t only a wrestling- and business God, he’s also a management God. Man, how easily he settles issues with his associates, it’s breathtaking.</p><p> </p><p> <strong>Taz:</strong> Eric, he’s no longer your boss and you can actually drop the asskissery. Pretty please? </p><p> </p><p> <strong>Bischoff:</strong> Can one not admire the skills of a man without being labeled asskisser?</p><p> </p><p> <strong>Taz:</strong> You can unless it’s bordering on the unhealthy...</p><p> </p><p> <strong>Tenay:</strong> Erm ... let’s just go to ringside for our next match, okay?</p><p> </p><p> </p><blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="31310" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div><div style="text-align:center;"><span>http://i454.photobucket.com/albums/qq267/Harmor666/TEW/AJStyles.jpg</span><span>http://i454.photobucket.com/albums/qq267/Harmor666/TEW/Tomko.jpg</span></div><p></p><p></p><p> </p><div style="text-align:center;"><p><strong>AJ Styles vs. Tomko</strong></p></div><p></p><p> At first, things didn’t look all too well for Styles as Tomko’s imposing strength overwhelmed him. But normal ... you know what would be normal? Having those titles of yours with one clearly defined challenger for each belt on our show. Yet we have contenders being valid to challenge for BOTH belts. This whole mess with JBL now causes me a headache with these belts. And because we're moving towards insanely busy times, this has become an issue that needs to be sorted. Now, lemme tell you how: We will have a match with BOTH these belts on the line, so everyone gets a title shot in order to finally sort out this cluster*beep* of challenges.</p><p> </p><p> <strong><span style="color:#8B0000;">Corino and Daniels stare at Foley in awkward silence...</span></strong></p><p> </p><p> <strong>Foley:</strong> I know what you are going to say. You’re going to say that I’m dropping old ties; I’m forgetting what you guys did for me, hell, for TNA. No guys, it’s nothing like that. Everything I do is in the best interest of TNA, and that’s something we all have to get to terms with. Something huge is going to happen here in TNA very shortly and I can assure every one of you guys and our fans in the arena and at home that it’ll be unraveled next week. It’s a damn promise. I also promise that I ain’t playing favorites, I ain’t gonna...</p><p> </p><p> <strong>Corino:</strong> So you’re gonna ditch us just like that?</p><p> </p><p> <strong>Daniels:</strong> You’re kidding, right?</p><p> </p><p> <strong>Foley:</strong> Far from that, guys. Listen - I have created a match ... a very special match, mind, that’ll fix this for every one of us and you guys will be in it ... but you won’t be alone. There’s a bunch of contenders for your belts as I mentioned, and looking at my list most of them would be eligible to challenge for both at the same time, and you might wanna remember I ALSO said that before. So everybody will get an equal chance ... in the Chamber of Champions match!</p><p> </p><p> <strong><span style="color:#8B0000;">The crowd roars as the name has a nice ring to it...</span></strong></p><p> </p><p> <strong>Foley:</strong> At Turning Point ... man, another very fitting name for you guys in particular I think, you will defend your titles in a ten men elimination match, pinfalls and submissions only, held inside a steel chamber set up around the ring. The winner of the match will win BOTH titles and will get to keep at least one, obviously, and both if he'll be up to the task of defending both belts regularly. This means an end to the ongoing issue of multiple men being eligible to challenge for both belts as we'll go back to basics - one title, one challenger.</p><p> </p><p> <strong><span style="color:#8B0000;">The crowd supports this massively as the prospect of the match has them cheering loudly once again ... which turns into boos the moment MVP’s music hits and he comes striding down to the ring.</span></strong></p><p> </p><p> </p><div style="text-align:center;"><span>http://i454.photobucket.com/albums/qq267/Harmor666/TEW/MVP2.jpg</span></div><p></p><p></p><p> </p><p> <strong>MVP:</strong> You’re out of your mind, aren’t you?</p><p> </p><p> <strong>Foley:</strong> Keep this between you and me, okay ... no, I think I’m doing just fine. You got a problem you’d like to share?</p><p> </p><p> <strong>MVP:</strong> ‘A’ problem? I couldn’t even begin to tell you how many problems I have with you, Foley. But let’s drop that for now and get to the point, okay? I’m THE absolute top contender for both of these titles and I should be challenging either Corino or Daniels at my discretion, but now you come out here and make me fight nine other men to get these titles?</p><p> </p><p> <strong>Corino:</strong> *<em>Cough</em>* Scared much?</p><p> </p><p> <strong>MVP:</strong> As if! It’s just unfair ... I would beat any of you in a one on one match, but that ... Chamber of Champions thing ... it’s out of whack. It’s an uncontrollable, dangerous environment you know ... steel chamber ring a bell? That’s solid steel you’re putting me inside. Are you nuts, Foley?</p><p> </p><p> <strong><span style="color:#8B0000;">Before Foley can answer MVP's question, Mr. Anderson’s music hits and he comes down to the ring, looking highly aggravated.</span></strong></p><p> </p><p> </p><div style="text-align:center;"><span>http://i454.photobucket.com/albums/qq267/Harmor666/TEW/KenAnderson.jpg</span></div><p></p><p></p><p> </p><p> <strong>Anderson:</strong> Foley you damn ... well, MVP is right with one thing – that Chamber match is dangerous and out of whack and uncontrollable. I’ve been helping you out allright, we’ve had each other’s backs but that stops right now because this is about TWO titles. Two, you get it? And that Chamber match is everybody for himself, so MVP, our union ends tonight.</p><p> </p><p> <strong>MVP:</strong> Oh yeah? Oh yeah? You might wanna remember I took this belt from you, Daniels! So what makes you think you’re gonna win now?</p><p> </p><p> As this is obviously a free for all, Carlito Colon’s music hits and he fills the ring too. It’s meanwhile well crowded and tension is building up quite nicely. Mick Foley might be the only reason why no brawl has erupted yet...</p><p> </p><p> </p><div style="text-align:center;"><span>http://i454.photobucket.com/albums/qq267/Harmor666/TEW/Carlito.jpg</span></div><p></p><p></p><p> </p><p> <strong>Carlito:</strong> I hate to break it to you guys, but you’re all wrong. I’ma gets that TV title back and the US title on top of it, and now that ... that will be cool. You think I’m gonna let you enjoy that Chamber match without me in it? You’re damn wrong then. Nah, I’ll be joining you and if anybody can do it, I’ll be beating nine others to unite these belts.</p><p> </p><p> <strong><span style="color:#8B0000;">Now we’re close to all hell breaking loose but Foley interferes as he raises an arm...</span></strong></p><p> </p><p> <strong>Foley:</strong> Hold it, hold it, and hold it! I won’t allow any fighting here right now. But I’ll tell you something ... there WILL be fighting between you guys tonight, since you’re obviously very much ready for it anyways. The six of you will go three on three – Christopher Daniels, Steve Corino and Rob Van Dam will face MVP, Mr. Anderson and Carlito Colon! And before you ask ... the remaining competitors will be announced next week! Now guys ... we can’t keep holding up the entire show, right? So if you’d please clear the ring so the show can go on?</p><p> </p><p> <strong><span style="color:#8B0000;">Reluctantly, the sixpack leaves the ring, one after the other, and with only Foley left inside, his music hits and he leaves too, a chorus of cheers in his wake as Impact cuts to commercials.</span></strong><strong> </strong><strong><span style="color:#4169E1;">90</span></strong></p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> <strong>Tenay:</strong> Welcome back to Impact everyone. It’ll be ten men fighting for both these belts, with the sole survivor bringing home both titles in this pinfall or submissions only elimination match inside a steel chamber.</p><p> </p><p> <strong>Taz:</strong> Six men are already scheduled to compete, all of them already decorated with championship wins in the past, but four are still a question mark. The suspense is killing me, folks.</p><p> </p><p> <strong>Bischoff:</strong> Well, I think Foley did a good job after all. Especially considering that I think neither Corino nor Daniels will leave the Chamber with their belts, so getting the titles away from them is a blessing in disguise on top of this match which, as much as I dislike Foley’s decision making, could be absolutely breathtaking indeed. </p><p> </p><p> <strong>Taz:</strong> Leaving out your absolutely ridiculous comments about Steve Corino and Christopher Daniels, I’m surprised you’re all for it. </p><p> </p><p> <strong>Bischoff:</strong> I just call it as I see it.</p><p> </p><p> <strong>Tenay:</strong> As we all should, always, right Eric? Anyways, while we’re at the topic of championships – The Kings of Wrestling took the TNA World Tag Team titles from Foley and Angle at Bound for Glory, but since Mick Foley moved on and became full fledge owner and GM of TNA, he and Angle surely won’t go for a rematch. This means the tag champs are left without contenders right now and that can’t be, correct? So in another, hm, well made decision I would say, a top contender match for the titles was made for tonight. He wouldn’t stay down however, and when Beer Money began to set him up for the DWI, he used the momentum for head scissors against James Storm that were too quickly executed for Robert Roode to react. After this, TNA World Heavyweight champion Samoa Joe showed up at ringside after jumping the guardrail. Joe grabbed Mitchell by the collar and forced him back first against the apron, terrorizing the sinister minister. I understand not wanting to spoil the card by having predictions each time around, so that's cool. I like the ten-man battle royal for the two mid-card titles, too. Are you going to make it a regular battle royal in-game?</p>
