dudeamis Posted May 28, 2011 Share Posted May 28, 2011 Monday, 3/2/87 - Rumors have been circulating that Fritz Von Erich has taken on a silent partner to financially support WCWA, who this rumor millionaire is still unknown, but it could mean big changes in Texas In an attempt to battle UWF for Texas dominance Fritz has looked to outside sources, I offered my pocket book and mind, and after many conversations, Fritz and I came to an agreement, I would buy WCWA and give him the role of head booker, though I would have final say in all decisions. Monday, 3/2/87 - WCWA has announced that Texas Championship Wrestling will now take place on Thursday nights, and World Class Wrestling will now take place on Sunday afternoons To prevent scheduling conflicts with AWA wrestlers I have rescheduled the tapings.
