MolotovMocktail
If we were to apply TEW/Wrestling Spirit promotion styles to real life feds, what would they each be? So far, I got: WWE: Sports-Entertainment (with the PG direction moving them towards Family-Friendly) TNA: Sports-Entertainment ROH: Traditional, or maybe Cutting-Edge CHIKARA: Family-Friendly CZW: Hardcore or Garbage AAA: Lucha-Entertainment CMLL: Lucha-Traditional Are there any Pure feds in North America? I would say Dragon Gate USA comes the closest, though I can't say for sure.
OctoberRaven
I'd say CHIKARA is Cutting Edge really. While they keep PG, they focus mostly on ringwork, and most promos are kept to a minimum. Family Friendly is closer to early 90s WWF IMO.

EVOLVE can be considered Pure I guess.

DDT in Japan is definately sports-entertainment due to their over-the-top gimmickyness alone.

Osaka Pro in Japan is Lucha Entertainment, it's a lot like CHIKARA but promos tend to be longer-winded.

SHIMMER is Women's Competitive, no two ways about it.

Dragon Gate and DGUSA would be Lucha Pure, as they firmly mix Japanese Junior Heavyweight style and Lucha Libre.

CZW's style is like the quality of their product: Garbage.
