chaz4594
Hi guys, I've bought the last 2 World of Mixed Martial Arts games. I've always liked pro wrestling during my childhood and have refound my love for it so downloaded TEW 2005 and used the latest real world update. I have done so to get used to the TEW series to decide if im going to buy 2010. I am seriously considering buying TEW 2010 BUT I have a question. When I got a company such as WWE or ROH I find it very hard to book the alloted time slots especially for PPV's when there are about 2 hours 15 minutes long etc. I'm just wondering if anyone has any tips to fill the time easier, I use alot of angles and match's but still find it very hard Also is there any tips anyone can give me just in general on signings, shows, pushes, gimmicks etc? It would be greatly appreciated
Remianen
Read the small questions thread, in its entirety. The questions you ask have been asked and answered in that thread. Yes, it's somewhat daunting due to its size, but the wisdom collected in that one thread probably shouldn't be diluted and endlessly repeated when it's all in one place already. It has the questions you asked as well as the next questions you'll ask that you don't know yet.
chaz4594
Yeah like you said, I'm not really wanting to read through about 500 pages to find the answer for about 2 questions, thank though
Eidenhoek
Book longer matches, follow your product's guidelines, use gimmicks that fit the strengths of your workers, push Angry Gilmore to the moon, etc.

It would be greatly appreciated 2 hours in RoH would be like... 8 matches. 9 if you're still in the era where D'lo Brown used to waddle to the ring and squash a jobber (usually literally ¬_¬). And in the WWE, 2 hours is a bit short for a pay per view, and you have a HUGE roster, so there really shouldn't be any trouble filling it. I'm going to guess that your matches are really short. Personally, I'd get the TEW2010 trial version to base your opinion on, since TEW2005 is so old now it's almost a different game entirely.
Rick Savant
Hey! I like D'Lo Brown! And seriously: Read the small questions thread. You don't just have two questions. You think you only have two questions but are very, very mistaken.

CamillePunk
Telling someone to read a 600 page thread isn't really reasonable. You need to first, read the help file. It's not that long. Even read the editor stuff as it explains certain terms and their effects, etc. Then I would use that newly accrued information and just hop into a game and start booking. Learn by trial and error, and any questions you have can be answered by SEARCHING through the "Small questions" thread. Seriously, every question you can think of is in there. The search function here works quite nicely. So yeah, no need to sit down and read a thread for hours about a game you're not sure you''re in for the long haul with. Read the help file, play the game, search that thread to find answers to any questions you may have.
