newbie question, how do you add a real world patch

hi all as the title says really ive just got this game and downloaded the mcd real world patch however ive got no idea how to get it working, so if anybody can please help me how to do this id be really grateful.

Load up your game and go to the editor.

 

Find the option to create a new database.

 

Copy the folders from the MCD download into the new database. They should overwrite all the blank folders and files.

 

You should then be good to go, but check the folder structure to make sure you don't put all the MCD folders one level too deep, which may happen if you unzip the file into the main MCD folder.

 

If you still need help, please let us know. This ^ isn't the most user-friendly guide around, but I don't have the game to hand. Someone may be able to do a step-by-step in the meantime...

Note: if you are running in anything past windows xp, you'll want to be running TEW in administrator mode, so it creates a new folder in the 'database' folder that you can then drag and drop data into. Make sure your new data is replacing the (all blank) database information that's in there previously.
