MrSelfDestruct
SIGMA Fight #1 His first fight in SIGMA will be against the explosive, Greek boxer Spiradon "Bang" Domazos. Proving Monroe will have to rise up from the very bottom of the rankings. Will he prove he has the potential to not just rule SIGMA's Middleweight division, but the world's? Only time will tell. http://i282.photobucket.com/albums/kk264/immortal_enigma/dynasty/IsaiahMonroe-1.gif QUOTE from Isaiah Monroe on his upcoming fight, "Heh, so this cat calls himself 'Bang' huh? Monroe lands elbows from guard but they are all dealt with. He smothers him against the ground avoiding strikes from underneath him. We hit the halfway point in the round and Monroe searches for the Americana, but Domazos denies him. Immediately after, Monroe locks in an Arm Triangle! Monroe tries to get close to grapple, but he is avoided. Coming in more quickly shortly after, Monroe achieves the grapple. Using dirty boxing Monroe batters Herlovson with short punches. He proceeds to push his opponent against the cage. He continues to use his dirty boxing against the cage, landing a hard left to the body, and throwing a big left to the temple, stunning Herlovson! Herlovson recognizes the danger and breaks the grapple and circles around. Exchanging strikes doesn’t get very far as both fighters miss the mark. Monroe fakes a shot trying to catch his opponent out of position, and Herlovson takes it hook, line, and sinker. He narrowly avoids a quick flurry of punches. Monroes thows a flurry of left and rights and shoots in, he catches his opponent off guard, Herlovson pulls guard. Monroe throws elbows from guard but few land cleanly. He passes to side control right before the horn sounds.

Definitely a 10-9 for Monroe.

The second starts out with both fighters throwing little blows, neither landing. Herlovson is looking to use more feints and catches Monroe, but the strike after is barely eluded. Monroe shoots in, getting a huge takedown, straight to side control! Monroe, lands a knee strike to the ribs and attempts an Americana, but fails. Monroe rolls Herlovson over and takes his back, he is in big trouble! Monroe attempts an armbar, but is unsuccessful and is swept, leaving Herlovson on top in side control. Herlovson stands up, not wanting to play on the ground . Herlovson lands some ground and pound to the body, then Monroe gets some seperation and pushes his opponent off, causing the scramble. Monroe not wanting to keep it on the feet looks for a quick takedown, and gets it! He achieves half guard. Monroe goes straight from half guard to mount with ease. Monroe searches for the amrbar, only to have it reversed and Maier sweeps him, ending up on top in side control. Maier lands some quick ground and pound, but Monroe wants none of it and searches for the sweep, and does so excellently, causing the scramble. They wind up back on the feet. Monroe throws a counter but its off the mark, Maier throws back with a leg kick, and Monroe catches it! Slamming Maier to the ground, he ends up in guard. From guard Monroe attempts to drop elbows but none land very cleanly. Monroe advances to side control and lands a knee strike and proceeds to mount just before the bell. Definitely a 10-9 for Monroe. Little counter attempts from both fighters both fail, taking up nearly half the second round. Monroe shoots in and catches the single leg, Maier pulls guard. Monroe pounds away, dropping bombs from the guard, threatening to end the fight! Rather than finishing the fight, Monroe advances to side control and then mount just before the bell once again. Monroe dominated that round. 10-9 Monroe. Maier lands two quick counters, but Monroe isn’t very affected. Maier throws a body kick, Monroe catches it and throws him to the ground, gaining guard. Monroe lands some elbows but nothing to be too worried about, he advances to side control easily, but he is beginning to look rather exhausted. Monroe lands a knee strike and goes for the arm triangle, he has it and its tight, but NO! Maier breaks free. Monroe blocks Maier’s attempt to pull guard, and goes for another arm triangle, and this time its even tighter! Maier holds on as long as he can, but he doesn’t want to pass out and is forced to tap out! WINNER via Submission (Arm Triangle) @ 4:17of round 3, still undefeated at 6-0 Isaiah “Thump” Monroe! http://i282.photobucket.com/albums/kk264/immortal_enigma/dynasty/IsaiahMonroe-1.gifhttp://i282.photobucket.com/albums/kk264/immortal_enigma/dynasty/RalphKohl.gif Isaiah "Thump" Monroe (6-0) vs. “Made in Germany” Ralph Kohl (17-7) Here we are it’s the main event of the evening! Both fighters won their fights rather decisively how will this fight go? Monroe throws a counter landing a hard right, immediately after he shoots in, getting the takedown! Kohl grabs guard. Monroe throws short punches trying to keep his opponent guessing. He passes simply to side control. Continuing with the little shots to catch his breath. He advances to mount, Kohl tries to sweep Monroe, but it fails! Monroe gains the back as Kohl rolls too far. Monroe puts his opponent in huge trouble as he gets the hooks in! Monroe is simply dropping bombs! Left then right! The referee gives Kohl a second to fight back, but this is simply too brutal he calls the contest in the very first round! WINNER via TKO (Ground and Pound) @ 4:07of round 1, still undefeated at 7-0 Isaiah “Thump” Monroe! full card results http://i282.photobucket.com/albums/kk264/immortal_enigma/dynasty/Capture.jpg

MrSelfDestruct
President of SIGMA Pete Crimson interviews rising star Isaiah Monroe! http://i282.photobucket.com/albums/kk264/immortal_enigma/dynasty/petecrimson002v2.gifhttp://i282.photobucket.com/albums/kk264/immortal_enigma/dynasty/IsaiahMonroe-1.gif PC: Isaiah! It is a pleasure to have you here, I have wonderful news! IM: It's truly an honor to be here sir. PC: I am pleased to inform you, you are currently the #2 ranked MW in SIGMA & #24 MW in the entire world of mixed martial arts! You are nationally known all the way across Europe, and I'd like to offer you a #1 contendership match. IM: Yes! I would be very glad to take that fight. Who's the opponent? PC: Well, you would be fighting fellow rising star in the MW division #5 promotion ranked 8-0 "Brickhouse" Thorbjorn Rekdal! The winner of your fight will take on the winner of the MW championship match between current champion, #3 promotion ranked, 8-1 Drazen Galebich and #3 MW in the world, Jaromir Grygera! Do you have anything to say to Rekdal, and predictions on the title fight? IM: I would like to tell Rekdal, that although I do have respect for him, and know what he is going through trying to make a name for himself, I am the better fighter, and I am going to prove that. I will be the SIGMA Middleweight Champion. As for those two, I'm gonna go with the underdog Galebich defending his title. He is stronger, more technical, and has youth on his side. it will be one for the books though from the sounds of it. PC: Alright, thank you for your time son, and it will be a pleasure seeing you in the cage soon. IM: Thank you, I will not disappoint.

1234
Monroe beasting through your MW division as well. Nice. Anyway, these predictions may be some way off as not many original SIGMA fighters did very well in my game, but heres to guessing. MW Title -- Drazen Galebich (8-1) ( c ) vs. #3 MW Jaromir Grygera (19-5) -Neither were elite level for me, Drazen was decent but constantly outclassed by better fighters, still got a decent 13-8 record, and can spring upsets occasionally, but he is not great. MW #1 Contenders -- "Brickhouse" Thorbjorn Rekdal (8-0) vs. #24 MW Isaiah "Thump" Monroe (7-0) -I am going to predict "Thump" in every match you give him. 18-0 beast in my game. The only MW fighter I would give any type of chance too is Buddy Garner, but I don't see him jumping from GAMMA. LW Title -- #14 LW "The Sharpshooter" Georges Nouri (10-1) vs. #5 LW "El Diablo" Luis Basora (19-3) ( c ) -Both decent for me, but unable to consistantly challenge the divisions elite. Basora is slightly better for me so I shall back him. LHW Contenders -- #18 LHW "The Hand Grenade" Valentin Taneyev (7-0) vs. #17 LHW Matti "The Hammer" Kurri (9-0-1) -Another tough call. Kurri is hard to beat but Taneyev explodes through nearly eceryone. HW -- Jozef "Pole Ax" Jankowski (3-0) vs. "The Hungry Hungarian" Zsolt Hargitay (5-0) -Seems to be slightly better, although like a lot of others, very inconsistent for me. And the rest I feel pretty confident on, so no comments. LW -- Maurice Braudel (7-2) vs. "The Wrecking Ball" Lucas Mueller (8-2) FW -- # 11 FW "Kid Britain" Manish Khan (9-1) vs. #23 FW Lito Alcala (3-0) LHW -- "The Battering Ram" Adranik Paletilolu (15-7) vs. "The Midnight Killer" Emil Karllson (2-1) FW -- Colm "Celtic Warrior" Dee (12-3) vs. #15 FW "Miniature Killer" Jason Dalglish (19-5) WW -- Piotr Dabrowski (16-7) vs. Viacheslav "Winter Soldier" Chaliapin (6-3) And I demand more Rafael Van Der Moot. I love the fella'

Rekdal lands a nice hard left counter punch, making Monroe realize this is not his fight in the standup. He shoots in, and Rekdal backs away, looking to avoid it and does so! Monroe decides he has to be smart to outwit his opponent, and quickly grabs a clinch. Rekdal has no answers as Monroe lifts him on his should and slams him down to the mat, OUCH! Monroe is in guard now and is landing weak punches just to distract his opponent. Monroe knows he is wildly more experienced than Rekdal and passes to side control with almost no effort. And then proceeds to mount, and then the bell rings. Definitely a 10-9 for Monroe. This round starts out pretty slowly, both fighters exchanging strikes, neither landing. Having stepped too close they fall into a grapple. Monroe attempts to control Rekdal against the cage, and does just that. Monroe attempts to sweep the legs, and takes him down, hard! He attempts to gain better position against the cage and does so brilliantly! He has full mount and Rekdal is in big, big trouble! Monroe pounds away, dropping bombs, the referee calls that match, that’s enough to end it. WINNER via TKO (Ground and Pound) @ 2:48 of round 2, still undefeated at 8-0 Isaiah “Thump” Monroe! http://i282.photobucket.com/albums/kk264/immortal_enigma/dynasty/Capture1.jpg
