ROCKY
My best year was 2007 i was undefeated, won the BHOTWG World title and had 2 A Rated matches with Taduyuki Kikkawa and was rated at #14.The next year i was still undefeated and still world champ but did not get any A rated matches and my ranking was #154. EdJames
Irony was I got that number 2 with bad match ratings too, MUST be an error! I think I had one or two B's, maybe 1 A and then C's for the rest. Is it just me or is it harder to get good ratings the better your character gets? I can't get the matches to drag out long enough, I'm squashing people in like 2 minutes and the ref is calling an end to the match!
Damian
I was slightly confused with the rankings in my career as a Rookie... I placed 256th after competing in ALOT of matches. I bust my ass, no injuries and worked over 60 matches, only losing 12. Lowest rating was one D. Average was around C+, but i got a fair few B's and B-. Yet my brother who worked only 20 odd matches, then got injured right through to March of the next year. Highest rating a B- and lowest an E. Average around C-... came 117th? Any ideas? spmkillie
makes about as much sence as me being a sports entertainer and having my mic skills peak at 57
Adam Ryland
What's wrong with that? Just because you chose to specialise as a sports entertainer doesn't give you a God given right to be brilliant on the microphone, any more than you should be the world's greatest high flier just because you decided you wanted to be a luchadore. There's plenty of "sports entertainers" on the real WWE roster right now who wouldn't get higher than a 60 if you rated them.
spmkillie
fair point adam... sorry for the moan... just fecked off about having a crap mic stat thats all :D does the same work for the rest of the stats too? ie no matter how much i train i will always hit a will in every stat? If so then im withdrawing my complains as i was worried i was gonna become 100 in brawling & tech by the time my guy retired
Adam Ryland
You'll gain advantages in certain related areas based on your initial choice - speed for lucha, toughness for strong style, etc - but there's no guarantee that you'll get even close to 100 as your "cap" on any stat. Otherwise you would end up with an awesome character after a few years, even if you sucked at the game, just on the basis of stats increasing via training. EdJames
So how do you explain my second place rating Adam after the first year? I had a 12-11 match record after one year as a Psychopath with the bottom two feds. I never scored above a B- mostly C's...

As for the #2 ranking, it's unlikely to be anything other than a fluke that everyone else did worse than you.
That Crazy Guy
I got #204 in my first year. I got 10 Overness mostly everywhere. I have 27 Wins/20 Losses and the best I have is A B Rated match. Dwight Mighton: In the U.S. True Element: In Japan. Hehe, This is A really great game, Adam.
