Jaded

I've been a member of that board for over six years. I'll check out the thread but since I have no idea what Jaded Wrestling is or why it needs to be "validated" I'm hoping your thread will shine some light on those subjects.

Edit: So you're trying to become a member but can't I gotcha. I asked them to validate it so good luck.

They've done it - many thanks Stennick!

I never heard of the board, what do they talk about over there.

Oh and I have horror stories dealing with mods over on Televison Without Pity. Back before they were bought out I used to get warnings nearly once a month about my poor spelling and grammar. Also, for going off topic and talking about the boards on the boards (whatever the hell that means). Anyway, because of all of that they banned me for a month once. I was pissed because I freely admit to not being the best speller and my grammar might not always be proper.

However, all I was doing was posting on a website. It was not like I was being graded for a term paper. End of rant.:D

I thought everyone knew about Dean and Phil and their Death Valley Driver Review.

Long story short back when the wrestling internet world was in its infancy you had a usenet (if you don't know what that is than this post would have to then be backed up to explain that).

Anyway you had a usenet group entitled RSPW where virtually everyone got internet wrestling sites from. CRZ, Scott Keith, Rick Scia (sp?) and everybody else that eventually landed on WrestleZone.

Anyway it started with Dean Rasmussen based out of Virginia publishing "workrate" reports. Basically the same thing everyone else was doing at the time. Taking a show, RAW, Nitro, etc and posting a "workrate report" of it on the rspw usenet site.

Anyway other guys joined the clique and together they finally created a website to publish all of these "workrate" reports. Ranging from RAW, Nitro to Japan and Luch as well. From that website spawned a board of their own which I thought was one of if not the most popular wrestling forum on the internet.

Now that I've given you a history lesson in the early days of Internet wrestling "journalism" circa 1995 please feel free to join in on the fun BHK you're the kind of guy that would enjoy the discussions taking place over there ranging from wrestling to sports to video games.

Yeah they have a best of Japan, they have a best of the 80's WWF, they have a best of Mid South they have some amazing DVD sets you can purchase for the price of blank DVDS. Basically you pay for the ten or twenty blank DVD's needed to burn them and they send you the set its a fantastic deal.

BP shoot me a PM if you're interested in joining the site and I'll have them validate your screen name. That goes for anyone that has signed up and hasn't been validated for some reason or another. If you've never signed up try that first.

Like I said I've been there for six years and never had a problem. I guess its like any forum anywhere (here included) some people just don't mesh with the rest of the group creating conflict you wouldn't find elsewhere.

Either way its a pretty fun site and like I said anybody that needs an account validated let me know and for those of you that don't sign up and lurk around for a few days plenty of good discussion and a lot of it is more active than this place is as far as variety.

That's the weird thing, there wasn't even really anything in the way of conflict *shrugs* This was back before they made it so only certain people can start topics/people need to get validated to join etc. I always enjoyed most of the discussion that goes on over there, but damn yo ... not a friendly crowd and Necro Butcher would agree with me.
