What type of computer are you working on? If you have a MAC, I Movie is does a pretty good job. I have never owned a MAC so I am not sure if the program comes with it or not but I have used in in the past when I was in college.

BHK1978
I have a peice, a lower end computer with windows vista. The one that I can think of off the top of my head will set you back big time. I will look around and see if I can find anything decent. Actually I found this page on wikipedia. I have never used any of these programs but they claim they are for free. I am not sure if it is worth your while checking some of these programs out.
slack
Yea, when I was in school I was spoiled using stuff like Final Cut. Right now, I just want to make a simple, basic, Zack Ryder-esque production values.

AVID was the one I was going to bring up but IIRC the price of it is out of this world.
Martino
Personally I love Adobe products. Adobe Premiere Pro is great for editing and After Effects is good if you ever want to implement anything more advanced. I still prefer using my Mac with Final Cut, cut if I do have to use a PC, Adobe is my go-to product. Sony Vegas wasn't too bad either.

I know I could just look it up but seeing how you brought it up I thought I would just as you. Is the Adobe Premiere Pro reasonably priced? Or is it in the AVID price range? Irish Wolf
I use power director to do the videos for our wrestling shows personally and it works for me. Price is a bit up there but we all know if you really wanted you could "find it" somewhere. Like "falling off the truck" back in the olden days. Or falling off the caravan back in the olden olden days. Thanks for the input. I just got a new job at a radio station and I'll see what kind of software I can get there.
