The three major Mexican promotions (MPWF, SOTBPW, and OLLIE) have all deposed their head bookers, and replacements have been brought in... Replacements named Apupunchau, InfinityWPI, and Derek_B. The world of lucha libre will never be the same again as three Mexican institutions are pitted against each other in the hands of foreigners to see who will be the heart and soul of Mexico... or perhaps, simply who will be able to hold on the longest. Their new booker, InfinityWPI, is known to have a fondness for the Southwestern United States style of independant wrestling. Which is good. 'Case it's, y'know, right over the border. Javier Cano, Face. Average luchadore who tends to team with his brother. "The Fan's Own" Guillermo Marcos, Face. Average luchardoe who was an average fun until he started training and got picked up in the draft. [b]Midcard[/b] Europea, Heel. One half of The Continental Connection. Not talented, but hides it well. Asiatico, Heel. The other half. An average luchadore with a good grasp of the basics. The Magnificent Mark, Heel. American wrestler who couldn't cut it up north, but is an evil genius down south. "The Aztec Arsenal" Inca Jr, Heel. Above-average guy who isn't yet thirty, but still has a decade of experience under his belt. Apprentica Jr, Heel. Another average luchadore, but this one's willing to take a beating. Jungle Jack, Face. American brawler who seems really out of place here. "The Silver Warrior" Daniel Cano, Face. Decent luchadore currently saddled with his kid brother in a tag team. El Guardiano Jr, Face. First-round pick in the 2005 draft. Very entertaining and a good, solid base for one so young. Cique Jr, Face. Technical wrestler who seems to be stuck in mid-card hell. [b]Upper Midcard[/b] Magnifico, Heel. Former world champion. Good worker, good on the mic, good all-around. Atlantis Jr, Heel. Not the most talented beyond the basics, but has those down pat and knows how to entertain. Spanish Superfly, Face. Noble, heroic, and can work with a variety of opponents. Electo, Face. Look up 'luchadore' in the dictionary, you'll probably see his picture. Technically sound with an electric-motif costume. Mayan Idol, Face. Big brawler with a cool mask, technical and flying skills, and charisma to match. The next big thing? Amigo, he's already here. [b]Main Event[/b] El Bandito, Heel. Multi-time world champion in SOTBPW. Best all-rounder in the industry and most famous mask in Mexico. Soul Taker, Heel. Great technical wrestler with an amazing graveyard entrance. Possibly the most popular heel in Mexico. Domino, Face. Solid skills all around, but can't work the mic for shi... erm, he's the owner? Um... his mic skills are okay. Really. Blue Sky, Face. Just another face on the US indy circuit until he moved south. Excellent high flier. OLLIE start-of-dynasty report OLLIE: Oringinal Lucha Libre In Extreme Home: West Central Mexico Style: Lucha Traditional Size: Regional Money: $5000,000 Popularity: D/C+/D (North/Central/South) Notes: One of the 'Big Three' promotions that control Mexican wrestling, OLLIE control the largest region, West Central. They are the oldest and biggest of the three promotions. The New Booker is a young half Irish Half South American Indian guy who goes by the name of Apupunchau, which in the incan sun god. Although from New York City he started his way south to look for his roots and in the long run got caught up in the Mexican wrestling scene. Not talented enough to be a wrestler he uses his incredible creative skills to help book shows and has now been given a chance to be head booker of OLLIE. Oddly enough he has to do everything through a translator as he speaks absolutely no Spanish. Staff Owner: Joaquin Soler made a fortune running a company that found lost airline baggage. He bought OLLIe a few years ago. Announce Team: Ignacio Soto (Announcer) and Lorenzo Blanco (Colour Commentator). Both well known as OLLIE’s announce team some have wondered how Blanco has lasted this long as Soto seems to carry the weak commentator Referee Corps: Benito Garcia and Domingo Catillio. Cattlillio is a well above average referee but he’s getting on in years and Garcia seems to be who he is grooming for his replacement Managers Cuervo, really old for a valet in business where everyone is in there late teens and early 20s. She excels because not only she drop dead gorgeous she is killer on the Mic. She is currently valeting for the heel team Los Dominguez. Secreto, almost as stunning as her older counterpart Secreto plays the manipulator and uses her large, but mostly none to bright clients to get her way in the business. She is currently pulling the strings of the heel tag team Los Academia singles competitor Rafael Ruiz. Enhancement Talent Heels Raul Sanz Jr., although making his debut in 2003 in MPWF he broke his leg due to miscommunication in a match against Mexican Beast. He returned earlier in 2005 and is now getting his shot in OLLIE. Opener Heels Julio Dominguez, also called JD he is the nephew of veteran Miguel Dominguez and is seen as a future star. He is already a decent technical wrestler and teams with his uncle regularly as Los Dominguez the current tag champions. Faces Angelico Del Mexico, A young but slightly above average wrestler, his patriotic babyface gimmick gets him a lot of cheap heat. He some times teams with Luchadore Originalic as Los Guerrilleros. Lower Midcard Faces Luis Montero Jr., rookie son of one of the most legendary men in Mexican Wrestling. He only recently started using his real name as he didn’t want any favoritism but when it got out who he was he stopped using Luis Herrera Mr. Lucha II, Oddly enough neither related to or trained by the Original Mr. Lucha he is still a decent High Flying Luchadore who is only getting better with age Phoenix III, The third of the Phoenixes working for OLLIE he is the submission based one, who works a more Asiatic Super Junior style but still manages to mesh it will with the Luchadore style. It is rumored that he was at one point an unmasked rookie working for MPWF and his identity is a closely guarded secret. He is a part of the team Los Phoenix with Phoenix II and they and Phoenix I are the OLLIE Six Man champions. Midcard Heels Miguel Dominguez, The King of the Airplane Spin” and veteran of two decades of wrestling he can still ut on a great match. He wrestles a very mixed style and is an excellent all-rounder. He teams with his nephews JD and they are the current tag champs Slayyer, while not the greatest worker in the world he hides it well and has a quality that everyone likes. His Dead Zone finisher is one of the most feared in all of Mexico. Leonardo Cortes, a very talented all–around who is just back from a year off being with his new daughter and is looking to get back to the top. Faces Phoenix II, another mysterious Phoenix who’s identity before donning the mask is unknown. His more cruiser style of wrestling suggests he worked outside of Mexico. He regularly teams with Phoenix III as Dos Phoenix and they hold the Six Man title with Phoenix I. Luchadore Originalic, is a veteran who has been around forever but has never become a superstar. He is starting to wind down his career now. He some times teams with Angelico Del Mexico as Los Guerrilleros Upper Midcard Heels Hexx, one half of the unspectacular but very reliable tag team Los Acadamia with his partner Decimalo. Mastericco, a veteran who is just now slowing down due to age and injury. When you think OLLIE you always think Mastericco and his gaudy bright red hat and costume. Faces Oceano, “The Lord of the Sea”, one of the most consistant and respected veterans in all of Mexican Wrestling. Manuel Prieto, The Original Mr. Lucha who lost his mask in a ladder match and revert to his real name. Still a very talented Luchadore who can always get the crowed pumped for his matches. Phoenix I, the veteran and inventor of the Phoenix character he is a great high flying Lucha and a decent technical wrestler as well. Main Event Heels Nicolas Lopez, “The Untouchable”, who’s speed and precision are legendary though out Mexico. At his young age he has already been a remarkable multi-time world champion. El Critico, until 2004 so popular a babyface in Mexico he was on Mexican Soap Operas. After his Turn he is no one of the most despised wrestlers in all of Mexico. He is a talented technical wrestler who is just reaching his prime. Faces El Leon, OLLIE’s 2005 #1 draft pick and already one of the hottest properties in all of Mexico. His Never-Say-Die attitude and incredible athletic ability will keep him at the top even at his young age. He is also the OLLIE Universal Champion. Marcos Flores, a superb high flying Luchadore sometimes called “The King of Leon” his home town. His most well known asset is the hang time he can get on his aerial moves. Championa Jr.,the quick and athletic “Pride of Mexico” he is well known for his bright, distinctive mask and his fast paced matches. [b][u]Upper Card[/u][/b] [b]Magik[/b] - Springboarding off the back of a big win in his forever running feud with his nemesis, Dark Magik, it may be time for Magik to see if he can reach the top of the card and break out big time. [b][i]Dark Magik[/i][/b] - Still smarting from a loss to personal nemesis, Magik, he looks to be once again stranded in the midcard mix. Will he continue to hold back Magik, or will he finally find someone else to feud with? [b][i]Mario Heroic[/i][/b] - His entrances sometimes last longer than his matches. But at least he can cut it in the ring. A potential star if given the chance, the fans seem to have taken to him rather well. And no doubt, he'll continue to build upon his fantastic heat by ripping through the SOTPBW ranks in future. [b][i]Torque[/i][/b] - A powerful brawler, he's had a good run in the space of the last few years after a poor spell a few years ago. As his career pushes on, he's looking to end on a high. [b][i]Cyclone[/i][/b] - He's a good looking guy in his early 30s with a lot of natural athleticism. Still improving his ring work, he's not really more than a midcarder just now. [b][i]Tijuana Vampire[/i][/b] - With a great evil look to him and some solid in-ring skills, he could go further than he has so far. Current co-holder of the SOTBPW Trio belts, his team with Enrique Merino is highly thought of. [b][u]Midcard[/u][/b] [b][i]Blood Raven[/i][/b] - An exciting youngster who also works in Japan under a different name, he's got the potential to be a star if given a chance. [b][i]Mexican Ghoul[/i][/b] - Tag partner of Del Muerto following the draft, the only stand out thing about the Ghoul is his zombie themed costume. [b][i]Masked Rebel[/i][/b] - By far the superior half of Los Heartbreakers (with Junior Youth), Rebel is tipped to be a singles star one day. Was drafted alongside Junior Youth as the first team, which shows how much promise they have. The duo are also starting to pick up a lot of fan support for the way they've been treating other teams in SOTPBW. [b][i]Del Muerto[/i][/b] - Following the Mexican draft, he started teaming with Mexican Ghoul and they have been doing well together. Perhaps one of SOTBPW's best technical wrestlers. [b]Referee Ramirez[/b] - He's the only referee for the company and he's not bad at it. [b]Jorge Ibanez[/b] - The owner of SOTBPW, he doesn't have an on screen role. Made his fortune by inventing a hybrid game of hockey and snooker called Snockey, which became a big craze in Samoa. Yeah..... really...... The match commences quickly and is over quickly, in 5 minutes. 2 falls to 0 for Los Heartbreakers in a match that never was fully under control of the referee.. [b](C-)[/b] - Lucia comes out to talk to the fans, but is interupted and threatened by a very angry Mexican Beast, a man who's had to face steroid allegations recently and a man you sure as hell don' want to cross. He threatens her when she mentions the steroids, but Hugo Garrido and Grue Slugg run out to make the save for Lucia to a great crowd reaction. Beast shouts that he'll get his revenge later tonight. [b](D)[/b] - A hardcore match scheduled for the SOTPBW Junior title, Pirrato wins the match but because The Gatekeeper is too heavy to be able to compete, the title match is declared void. Even so, its a notch in the belt of Pirrato, who is slowly making a name for himself in SOTBPW. [b](E)[/b] - Sparked by the interference in Mexican Beast's affairs earlier, a Trio Title match between Hugo Garrido, Grue Slugg and Magik was made against the champions Mexican Beast, Enrique Merino and Tijuana Vampire. With the belts on the line, Magik scored the winning fall on Enrique Merino to win the SOTBPW Trio titles for the good guys, with Enrique having previsouyl been pinned by Grue Slugg. [b](C-)[/b] After the match, Mexican Beast viciously attacks Enrique Merino hitting him with 2 powerful spears that he calls "Roid Rage". Tijuana Vampire just stands and watches his tag partner get destroyed as Beast pounds away on Enrique, drawing the first blood of the night. [b](C-)[/b] - Another single fall hardcore match takes place, with Charron facing off against Champagne Lover. The carnage was messy, with Lover bleeding after a few minutes thanks to a chairshot with a chair donated by an enthusiastic fan, but the win was academic after Mexican Beast made another appearance, hitting the Roid Rage on Charron, almost snapping him in half. Lover locked in the Champagne Breakfast for the win shortly after. [b](C+)[/b] - Backstage, Axxis Jr and Pablo Rodriguez hype up the main event, with Axxis saying it won't be long before he takes El Demonico's title belt at Deporte De la Sangre, SOTBPW's big event scheduled to take place later this month. I wanted to give them an action packed show. Also, I totally forgot why the Junior belt is called Junior. Its not for heavyweights like The Gatekeeper and they didn't seem to like that either. Damn. However, at least the roster is looking a bit more balanced now with the turns of Hugo Garrido, Grue Slugg and Enrique Merino along with the debuts of Surfeador Californao and Masked Cougar. And that makes me happier and will hopefully make the fans happier. I'm not used to the lucha style yet. Two out of three falls is usually something I'd save for big matches, but not here, its expected tha matches will have 2 falls. One fall hardcore matches didn't too do well, so maybe a 2/3 fall hardcore style for next week. I wish these guys had kept tapes of previous events, would give me something to base my bookings on. [b](D)[/b] After the match, they continue and beatdown but Cyclone runs in to save the rookie from the attack. [b](F)[/b] - Los Destructores face Los Heartbreakers for the tag titles, but with things going their way already one fall ahead, Mexican Beast attacks both, hitting them each with the Roid Rage. The pinfalls are academic. [b](C-)[/b] - Mexican Beast issues an open challenge, saying he's unbeatable. (C) The Gatekeeper takes the challenge of Beast [b](C-)[/b] and is then quickly destroyed by Beast, who makes the match last longer than really necessary. Once again, the Roid Rage ends the match for both falls. [b](C)[/b] Beast then puts himself over after the match, saying he's unbeatable. Then Cyclone comes out and clears the ring for the good guys and the match is evened up. Pablo eventually gets a fall on Heroic and the good guys are looking good. But eventually, the early offense takes it toll and in the end, El Demonico gets a fall on Charron to take the win. In my haste to balance out the heel/face roster, I probably could have made Cyclone turn in a better way. But its too late to do anything about that now. Mexican Beast does indeed look awesome and I'm glad the fans are enjoying him just now. He's turned the steroid allegations into a workable gimmick and devastating finishing move. It'll be tough for anyone to beat him. And I'm deliriously happy that the fans were happy with the mix of action and angles. I reckoned it was about 20% angles/interviews and the rest as matches, so thats good. Good crowd too. They left happy, which makes me happy. About an hour ago OLLIE’s December event “Havok De Vacaciones” at Plaza La Esperanza in West Central Mexico ended with an attendance of 4436 and here’s how it went down. Starting of the show the announce team took some time to go over the four stars who would be competing in that evenings four way main event. The crowd was already in frenzy but it seemed the Ignacio Soto carried the whole thing and in comparison Lorenzo Blanco’s commentary seemed really weak. [B]Rating –[/B] C+ [B]Slayyer over Luchadore Originalic[/B] [B]In Ring Action –[/B] The in ring showing wsd slightly below average. Slayyer Really pulled of most of the good work in the ring, which is sad cause he’s not really a top rated Luchadore. Both men were almost exhausted when the match was over. [B]Fan Reaction –[/B] Not two guys the really wanted to see in the ring and the fans let them know it. [B]Spot of the Match -[/B] 270 degree moonsault by Slayyer. [B]Match Ending –[/B] Slayyer’s second consecutive pin using the ropes as leverage 15 minutes and 34 seconds. [B]Rating –[/B] D It looked like Phoenix I was coming out to say something when the ever stunning Secreto came out. She invited him to join with her crew and partake of her services, as always she let it linger before she clarified services as a manager but by then every male in the room had their minds in the gutter. Phoenix looked her straight in the eye and said no thank you before walking out o the ring. Even though Secreto is hot to trot Phoenix I really stole the audiences attention making her look really weak. Rating – C+ (Choice), C (Decision) [B]Leonardo Cortes over Luis Montero Jr.[/B] [B]In Ring Action –[/B] The work was decent Montero obviously the lesser worker but Cortes did a good job hiding it. Super Rudo Cortes Dominated the match completely [B]Fan Reaction –[/B] The fans again weren’t into this match but show a bit of respect for the returning Cortes [B]Spot of the Match -[/B] Lorenzo’s chain suplexes, which is really the only part the fans cheered for. [B]Match Ending –[/B] Even though he dominated Corts still used a chair shot to get the pinfall in 13 minutes and 10 seconds. [B]Rating –[/B] C- The OLLIEtron took us backstage where we were witness to Rafael Ruiz and Los Academia attacking Phoenix I. It looked like if Phoenix wasn’t going to be joining Secreto that her band of thus was going to take him out. The crowd wasn’t so hot on this either. [B]Rating –[/B] C- Things started to get a little more heated when the champ El Leon was seen backstage and he took the time to talk about tonight’s match against El Critico, Nicolas Lopez and Championa Jr. for his title. In a nut shell he complimented Championa’s honor and was very disappointed by the two Rudo’s actions in the past. The segment was nothing spectacular but still a slightly above average performance by El Leon. [B]Rating –[/B] C+ [B]Los Domiguez over Dos Phoenix For OLLIE Tag Team Titles[/B] [B]In Ring Action –[/B] Dos Phoenix did most of the action in the ring while the Dominquezes spent most of time getting hit or being saved by their manager Cuervo. Still it was just an average showing from all concerned and Phoenix II was obviously worn out by having to carry ost of the match for Julio. [B]Fan Reaction –[/B] Although the fans seemed to like Miguel they were eally vocal about Julio spending too much time in the ring. The did react will to Cuervo’s interferences though. [B]Spot of the Match –[/B] The fans were off their feet for Miguel Dominguez’s Airplane Spin [B]Match Ending –[/B] Julio was tagged in for the pin on Phoenix III after Miguels Airplane spin at 15 minutes and 48 seconds [B]Rating –[/B] C- Los Dominquez stayed in the ring as Dos Phoenix was helped out. They took a few moments oto talk about their superiority as OLLIE Tag Team Champions. Cuervo really helped out both men and seemed to play really well of the older Dominguez. [B]Rating –[/B] C [B]Mr. Lucha II over Raphael Ruiz For OLLIE Mexican Title[/B] [B]In Ring Action –[/B] Even trying to protect Mr. Lucha II, Raphael Ruiz could not hold this whole match together. Beyond Ruiza and Mr. Lucha just didn’t seem to mesh at all everything seemed off. But the action really wasn’t about Mr. Lucha and Ruiz it was about Phoenix I and Ruiz. [B]Fan Reaction –[/B] This match left a sour taste in everyone’s mouth even though they knew it was more about the Phoenix I and Ruiz action it still ws no reason for a bad match. [B]Spot of the Match –[/B] Phoenix I hits the Rising from the Ashes [B]Match Ending –[/B] Phoenix I knocked out Ruiz with a Rising from the Ashes and dragged Mr. Lucha II on him for the pin at 9 minutes and 36 seconds [B]Rating –[/B] D El Critico was shown on the OLLIEtron backstage and he took some time to talk about his inevitable win in tonight’s four way match for the title. He took some time to run down each of his opponents focusing mainly on El Leon. The crowd stopped mulling about and finally got caught up by this promo. [B]Rating –[/B] B+ [B]Marco Flores over Mastericco[/B] [B]In Ring Action –[/B] Marcos Flores stole the show with in ring acrobatics almost none could match. Although Mastericco couldn’t keep up with the speed and was really tiring at the end he managed to pull off a few of his old favorite moves to keep the crowd going. The colour Commentary and announcing though couldn’t’ keep up with the speed of the action either. [B]Fan Reaction –[/B] The fans were defiantly happy to see some of the action they came for and cheered heavily for Flores. [B]Spot of the Match –[/B] Flores did a corckscrew twist off the top rope onto Mastericco outside of the ring. [B]Match Ending –[/B] At two wins a piece Flores got the win when the ref called for the DQ as Masterrico tried to hit Flores with the ring bell at 19 minutes and 48 seconds. [B]Rating –[/B] C+ Another great promo for the four way match by “The Untouchable” Nicolas Lopez. It wasn’t so much what Lopez had to say as it was his natural Charisma and look that the fans really got behind. Doing the promo in the ring made him the first opponent out for the match. [B]Rating –[/B] B- [B]El Leon over El Critico, Championa Jr. and Nicolas Lopez Four Way Elimination Match For OLLIE Universal Title[/B] [B]In Ring Action –[/B] The action was fast paced and in your face all four competitors flew around the ring like maniac pinballs. Not a single spot was missed and each of them looked almost perfect. The only problem was El Leon and Championa Jr. weren’t cut out for matches this long. [B]Fan Reaction –[/B] This was why everyone came to see Havok De Vacaciones, with a main event like this the fans couldn’t help but be excited. The fans who stayed were really into it. [B]Rating –[/B] B- El Leon stayed in the ring to celebrate his victory but his celebration didn’t last long as Nicolas Lopez made a second return. Anonymous[/QUOTE] [b][BLEEP]![/b] The news for young Derek B was quite possibly the worst he was likely to ever get, short of Axxis Jr being rushed to hospital. If Derek had been told he had less than a week to live, that woulda been nothing compared to messing up a show. One week is a long time to run away from angry Mexican fans. It didn't take long for gossip and hearsay to spread around Mexico, with rumours saying that the show wasnt taking place. Nasty rumours spread by MPWF or OLLIE? Or a stroke of marketing genius from Derek to get people interested? If only...... then he wouldn't have to build a show out of nowhere in two hours, scramble all the workers for the show and add in all the hype that was supposed to happen in the week preceding the show. He was sure he'd got the date right with the printers. Maybe they were an OLLIE fan..... Anyways, after much rushing around without Derek's phone reaching the receiver for the best part of two hours, Derek was fortunate to manage to gather his wrestlers together and somehow piece a show together in double quick time. During a pretty hasty meeting with 28 men that could probably all kick the ..... beat the..... could all really hurt him, he had the outline for a show with several extra bits tacked on, some barely legible notes that were the original plans lurked somewhere underneath and his personal world was not looking too good. But, angering 28 men would be better than angering the 1600 fans outside who had shown up despite the rumours. The crowd may have been smaller than expected, but it was there. The show must go on....... (C) - Originally, there woulda been a 6 man tag match to have a better turn fr Torque. But twas not to be. Backstage The Gatekeeper is being beaten up by Ataque De Noche when Torque has a conscience crisis and makes the save. (E) To cover and explain the upcoming match, he challenges them to a tag match. (D) - In another match that had more explaining to do, the SOTBPW Tag titles are on the line as Los Sangre Nuevo face Los Heartbreakers. In a quick match thanks to not being able to get as much time in the hall that we woulda had the next week, Los Heartbreakers retain by two falls. (C-) - Thankfully, this wasn't too bad. But it woulda been better with the 6 man match originally planned the week leading up to this. After last week's action, Cyclone faces Pirrato for the Junior belt. Cyclone looks to have the match sewn up until Blood Raven interferes and costs him the match. Pirrato retains. (C-) - Ataque De Noche beat The Gatekeeper and Torque by two falls. Seems Gatekeeper was too beaten up to really last long. Although in the original plan, he woulda been fresh and the match woulda been longer. (C-) - Enrique Merino cuts a promo saying how he's going to beat the life out of Tijuana Vampire for standing by and letting Mexican Beast destroy him a few weeks back. Surprisingly, also missing some storyline. Like announcing the match prior to the show. (C-) - Tijuana Vampire beats Enrique Merino by nefarious means in a fairly short match. At least it was 3 falls in this one, but with feet on the ropes Tijuana wins. At least this is building to something bigger in the future. (C-) - Originally, Mexican Beast was going to get a bigger push going into the match by beating Magik in a singles match. The SOTBPW Trios titles are defended by Magik/Hugo/Grue against Mexican Beast/Dark Magik/Los Fury, with Mexican Beast looking strong. (C) After the match, Mexican Beast destroys Magik with a brutal Roid Rage to vent his animistic frustrations, much of which may come from some dodgy booking and steroid abuse. (C-) - In a match that was to stem from an open challenge the previous week, Champagne Lover defeats Charron following a strong performance, though he did lose a fall. (C+) He then stands over Charron and taunts him, saying that Lover is now the top contender in SOTPBW, which wasn't exactly planned but will have to work now. As it is, he's gonna be pushed as the top contender shortly cos he rules. But thats besides the point. (B) - Another match that was mean to be set up before the show. You can really tell the next show was gonna be jam packed. Mario Heroic challenges Pablo Rodriguez to make their match a First Blood match. In fact, he gives him no choice. Pablo agrees anyways, saying thats good for him. (C-) The match was supposed to last longer in the original plan, but thanks to a limited time, Pablo uses his DAVE experience to get hardcore and bust Heroic open at 10 minutes. (C+) - Axxis is on hype duty for the big title match with Demonico, though he doesn't waste too many words due to time constrictions. Luckily, we've tried to give this match plenty of time. (B-) In a pretty good match considering they weren't given much time to plan anything, but certainly more than everyone else, Axxis beats Demonico for the SOTBPW title by two falls to one. (B-) After the match, while we push our time following on from the show, Axxis celebrates. (B) Overall Rating - (C+) [/quote] Fan Comments: There wasn't much of a card announced in advance and the matches seemed rushed. But it was great to see Axxis win the title. The show was better than the last one, which was good. But things weren't as good as they could have been if given more time. Hopefully the next big ground breaking event wil be a bit...... bigger. And groundbreaking. Personal Comments: [BLEEP] me, that was a nightmare! But everyone pulled through incredibly well for us and there was still a decent crowd who got into things. We're hoping Axxis will do well for us as champion but his win wasn't quite as big as it could have been with that extra week of build up. The show would have been great if it wasn't for such a major mistake on my part (or perhaps the poster printer's) but we lost the shine a little. On the plus side, wild stories of what may or may not have happened should be good for our popularity or at least help us draw a good crowd for our next Guerra De Lucha show. However, we've got to complete re-book it which is also going to cause trouble. Poot!
