At my 35 with two minutes left, I'd think they'd have tried the FG. The true freshman kicker (who shoulda been mine) was a 5* whose ratings are 78/80. True, this worked out for them because they pinned me then stuffed me. So not too awful, but I don't see how you could pass up an opportunity to try to tie that late. 2. I thought the time out calling was questionable. I'd think you'd start calling them immediately. But again, it worked for them, so I can't say it was wrong. 3. How in the world could they call a zone blitz with only 00:01 left? Traditional theory here is send everybody back and tell them to keep everything in front of you. But I guess that's the wild world of college football for you!!! Again, thrilled with the result, very happy with BBCF, but these are some headscratchers. I know the patch is coming, so we'll see. Tim Plum
1. 53 yd fg is a long try. What does the kicker look like beyong 78/80. With TO usage and a good D this strategy is okay. 2. I agree #1 TO should have been one play earlier on 2nd and 10. 3. There isn't really a Prevent D in the game and I might do the same thing to drop the QB and keep the coverage all over the field. CapnPitt
For 3, I think Dime DZ is clearly the play. But that's just me.
bk1714
I think the game could use a prevent because there are too many long touchdowns at the end of halfs.
