Well Jeff Jarrett somehow saw potential in me as a writer and asked me ot come in and write a few test episodes of iMPACT. Of course I agreed. A few months later however I found out that D'Amore and Douglas were stepping down from the booking team. D'Amore because of his BCW company starting to get big in Canada and Jeff asking him to let it become a TNA Development Camp. Douglas was stepping down because he had been working out and finnaly decided it was time to return to the ring full-time. This left me as the only surviving booking team member. Under a lot of pressure too. Jeff told me that by June he wanted Impact and Xplosion on tour and Impact with a 2 hour timeslot. No easy task mind you but I knew that TNA could do it. TNA Xplosion Taping Results: TNA Impact Title Tournament Bracket 1 Match Round 1: Alex Shelley vs. Lance Hoyt This match went on a lot longer than it should have for the fact that LANCE IS HUGE. Shelley tried some of his moves but it just did not work out as Lance nailed Shelley with a Powerbomb for the win. Jerelle Clark and Mikey Batts vs. The Logan Brothers (Matt and Luke Logan) The Logan Brothers (Matt, Luke and I forgot the other ones name) are a tag team from New England and are looking to make a name for themself in TNA. The Logans got the win with a Elevated Bulldog (3-D Bulldog) on Clark. Rating: C- Time: 5 Minutes Roderick Strong vs. Bobby Roode Roderick Strong gets the win with a Samoan Drop to Gutbuster on Roode. This match was very hard hitting and intense. Roode was bleeding from the chest at the end of the match. Rating: C Time: 19 Minutes Roderick Strong goes and celebrates with the fans after he wins the match turning him FACE! Rating: C- Time: 3 Minutes Alex Shelley and Raven and Monty Brown cut a promo about there upcoming tag team match against Sting, Rhino and Cassidy Riley.
