TCW - TwentyThirteen

I have a game that i've basically been playing as a management sim with TCW thats now in the game year of 2013 and now in the month of August to keep the game interesting, I thought i will give this whole thing a try.

Just one small note about the images, of workers, tv shows, belts etc. im going rip them off google images, cos thats way easier for me, if they are someones work then i'm sorry, if you are annoyed about me using them, just message me and i'll remove them or credit you.

A very brief summary of what has happened in the game so far:

Wasn't very good at the game to begin with, brought in all the talented young guys straight away like Swoop, CLover, Jay Chord, DWN etc. I pushed them immediately as main eventers and my shows really suffered because of that, not realizing you couldn't do that. Took me a while to figure stuff out.

Who has held the title in the last 3 years (starting from the beginning)

2010

Rocky Golden

Troy Tornado

Sam Keith

Swoop McCarthy

Ricky Dale Johnson

2011

Swoop McCarthy

Champagne Lover

Troy Tornado

Champagne Lover

2012

Swoop McCarthy

Rick Law

Tommy Cornell

2013

Angry Gilmore

Now I have a good roster (which i will summize in my next post), i have 3 TV shows a week, 2 A shows and 1 B Show. We tape Live on Tuesdays TCW Presents Total Wrestling mainly for GNN and we then Tape on Thursdays our other main show 'TCW Saturday Night Showcase' which goes out on Saturday for NCTV for 90 minutes, After that our B Show 'Monday Night Wrestling' is taped for 30 minutes and i cant be bothered to look up which channel it goes out for, i assume NCTV. We have a Huge PPV deal across Canada and the US, i'm hoping to improve the Worldwide ones every chance i get

Monday - Day off

Tuesday - 'A' show (Live)

Wednesday - House Show

Thursday - 'A' & 'B' Shows are Taped for Saturday and Monday respectively

Friday - House Show

Saturday - House Show

Sunday - PPV Every 4 weeks.

That was quite boring, i hope i haven't lost you yet, i just want to lay the table and get everyone up to speed with the schedule you will expect, basically what a typical week for the company is. My plan is that I will be writing up TV's and PPV's

Currently i'm in frequent Canadian National Battles with SWF and NOTBW. I have a working agreement with NOTBW and MAW is my developmental territory. I'm currently the 3rd best promotion in the world behind SWF and the imperious NOTBW, with a Prestige of 90 and Momentum of 90. My popularity as of August 2013 (Week 1):

http://img26.imageshack.us/img26/6460/popularityaugust2013wee.png

Right now we are in week 1 of August 2013 and we have just come off of Summer Showdown here are the results

http://img209.imageshack.us/img209/7157/summershowdownresults.png

THE DIARY PLAN/MISSION STATEMENT

I'm not sure what this is going to be, i'm just going to try and write storylines out and see what happens, i'm not going to keep track of prediction winners but i will post a prediction key before every taping and things like that. I want it to be inclusive, so if you want to input ideas and ask why i did something or suggest something else then thats obviously cool.

Angry Gilmore is my Champ, CLover and Owen Love are my Tag champs and the latter is also my International Champ.

My next post will be a quick summing up of the Roster.

EDIT: If someone could tell me a better way to get my image sizes to a better standard, that would be very helpful. As i'm just doing the old, printscreen, cut in paint and upload to imagshack and its not coming off that well. Thanks.

THE TCW ROSTER

(F)= Babyface

(H)= Heel

Main Eventers (in alphabetical order)

Angry Gilmore (F) TCW WORLD CHAMPION

Angry Gilmore came to TCW about a year ago now, unbelievably SWF let him walk away from their company and i managed to sign him to a 3 year contract at 13k a month. A complete bargain when you consider how talented he is, 95 psychology, 100 stamina and everyone of his performance skills over 90, his mic work isn't to be taken lightly either and working with Cornell has only improved him. Hes the champion because hes the best worker i have at the best price with 2 years left on his contract, its only wise to invest in getting him over and i have been successful in doing that feuding with Tommy Cornell and an intense non title feud with Eddie Peak, lead Gilmore to a 95 in popularity in the US, Canada, Japan and Mexico

http://i571.photobucket.com/albums/ss153/JadedJay/ElmoBenson.jpgBenny Benson (F)

I don't understand how Benny Benson continually gets himself over in TCW, with the booking of TCW in my hands. He very rarely receives a singles push from me and over the last 2 years i have primarily booked him as a tag team with his good friend Art Reed, who is ultimately not that good a wrestler but Benny still scraps himself up the card to Main Event level. Occasionally i will use Benny as that extra face when putting together a upper midcard match but overall the prospects aren't bright for him. A utility babyface.

http://t1.gstatic.com/images?q=tbn:ANd9GcSHaQ4uUo0XKnlWz2LOJ2A47I8NcEbu14SQ-CcBSXaWh27dJhwcsVbqWZXLChampagne Lover (H) Tag Team Champion

Champagne Lover for me is extremely talented and has had many runs as a baby face and a heel culminating in winning multiple titles. Right now he works as a heel in a Tag Team with Owen Love, which has the underwhelming name of 'The Heartthrobs'. I love his work, i feel like the tag titles are a bit beneath him and in truth they probably are but its helped get Owen Love over. I have to now consider whether Champagne Lover is the next guy in line for a title shot

http://t3.gstatic.com/images?q=tbn:ANd9GcRY8Oke7XG6u6MmboNUuLuwypbDEszNy1yY02RmmlD9QSyAtPstU1r4b4pfxA Eddie Peak (H)

I love the highly menacing Eddie Peak character, hes managed to get himself to the level of a great worker with a Psychology of 86 and overall performance rating of 89 couple that with his very high menace rating and star quality and solid entertainment work and you realize he has become very talented indeed. Yet to hold the World Title though.

Consistently working with the highly talented TCW roster that I've managed to cobble together over the years, has helped his progression, also being involved in a dominant tag team, The Peak Of Wrestling, with Tommy Cornell obviously helped his career development. He also had a very highly rated feud recently with Angry Gilmore where he was hell bent on taking him out of the Main Event picture as he fought for himself to get up the card and win the title. Unfortunately Gilmore had too much for him and earned a title shot he would then go onto to win but maybe Peak has learnt from this and will come back at the Current Champion even stronger.

http://t3.gstatic.com/images?q=tbn:ANd9GcT2w5AD3qm1vAhCeL4jjuHBCRjP2Ix4h0jKcQD3UBDPJqjlW9ZAZB4WUkB Randy Bumfhole (F)

With Tag Team Wrestling playing an important part in the current TCW product, This Bumfhole has only gone and got himself over, despite me paying very little attention to giving him a push. I'm not sure what to do with him or his brother, he and his brother are always spare parts when not feuding for the titles and I genuinely cant work out which Bumfhole is better, Randy and Zimmy always seem to trade places in the Main Event 'rankings'

http://t1.gstatic.com/images?q=tbn:ANd9GcTcnmZ7Vw5bS5yYHAEsHARbg-A_80A4fvnCfUfRMH9OauwcpLRLslNdlpzt9ARich Money (H)

Rich Money very recently came over from SWF with his running mate Squeaky McClean when the Big company didn't renew their deals. I am pleased to have them and they are useful heels to have under the Main title Feud, I currently see Rich Money as a level beneath the Title, I wonder if he'll change my opinion over the coming months

http://i34.photobucket.com/albums/d105/jsilver536/RickLaw-1.jpgRick Law (F)

Ricky Law is another wrestler who has improved over the years, just simply by consistently working with the talented roster i luckily managed to sign. His entertainment skills is where he excels, with the standout 89 in charisma. His in ring work is good too, a decent psychology stat at 78 but hes great in other areas and that contributes to a 84 overall performance ability, his top line stats have also slow improved. I'm not sure if he has what it takes to carry the title but nevertheless he can hold his end up in any feud

http://i34.photobucket.com/albums/d105/jsilver536/SammyBach_alt4.jpg Sammy Bach (F)

Sammy Bach is a great hand, hes the 2nd Babyface in the company right now, accomplished on the mic and works hard in the ring, has had runs as a heel and as a babyface. He worked with Josh Taylor in his initial year with me as the booker and then went onto to be in a strong tag team with 'Liberty' called the dudes. Hes held every title in the company except for the big one, hes good enough in the ring to get the title but hes simply not big enough to win a World Title. Philosophically i never believe high flying styles succeed in the Main Event.

http://t3.gstatic.com/images?q=tbn:ANd9GcTKIxTBzPm5nuCFKkFt1QZ3VLsp8Coub5WORbXgdZ8RjYxIUG8WtBAV0t4x5gSqueeky McClean (H)

Squeeky McClean is currently benefiting from a rub of being paired with Rich Money who is ironically a Rich Man's Squeeky McClean. Hes been feuding against The Bumfhole's with Rich Money since coming over from SWF a few months ago, hes also been used as a utility Heel. McClean was vastly overpaid by me at 25k a month to get him away from the SWF and he simply doesn't have the skills to back up that money. I expect him to have a decent run in TCW for the 2 years of his contract and that will be it for him.

http://t1.gstatic.com/images?q=tbn:ANd9GcQVR81mVHZwik5AhPPHK3ytlLQz_lf5WJlO_uj1pcbQywsQCGCAg-QIK1MF Tommy Cornell (H)

Last but obviously not least, The Godfather of Wrestling, Tommy Cornell. Just over 3 years i've been booking TCW and for the first two at least i kept the title off of the Continuously Heel Cornell, he was in the midcard working hard with the future like DWN, Rocky Golden, Benson etc. and forming a dominant Tag Team with Eddie Peak but ultimately it got the stage where i had to put the title on him such was the level of his work and the company exploded to a level where it could legitimately compete with SWF and since that point we have been motoring, his excellent work on the mic and hard work in the ring has pushed everyone up a level. We now sit in 3rd position in the world with high momentum ready to take over the world of wrestling, at 35 can Cornell stay in his prime long enough to see the dream through to its realization?

Well done if you read all those ramblings. Hope it wasn't all over the place.

Next post will be clearing up the rest of the roster.

THE TCW ROSTER

(F)= Babyface

(H)= Heel

Upper Midcarders(in alphabetical order)

http://t2.gstatic.com/images?q=tbn:ANd9GcQanFZuLS9GzQnXr8vzTqXaG7RQ_VovZ8N6sThNR5lbZNsi2kDCUiWhdZZu-A Art Reed (F)

Hes deteriorated in his abilities over recent years and is definitely below average in comparison the rest of the rosters ability. He is simply benefiting from being Benson's tag team partner. A good person to have in the locker room. This could be his last contract.

http://i754.photobucket.com/albums/xx181/jhdTEW/Alts/BrentHill_jhd.jpg Brent Hill (F)

Everyone knows how great this guy is to have around, currently in a 'getting people over tag team' with Buddy Garner, called 'The New Machines'. Had a very succesful early run when i started with TCW but John Anderson leaving the company left him a bit out of place and was used as a good hand and has been Perennial Midcarder. I don't know why hes so over right now.

http://i66.photobucket.com/albums/h247/Ramaeno/TCWSuperstarFreddyHuggins.jpg Freddy Huggins (H)

Freddy Huggins is actually one of the only sub 30 year old guys to feature around the Main Event. I was ready to give up on him as he'd shown no improvement in 3 years in TCW but suddenly hes shot up in ability, so there is some hope for him. He has been in a Heel tag team with Jay Chord for most of TCW career and still is

http://i293.photobucket.com/albums/mm75/trenchcoatbrigand/TCW/JamesPrudence.jpg James Prudence (H)

Jimmy Prudence has been in TCW a little over 2 years now, he came into the company around the same time as KC Glenn, so they got put into a heel tag team called the 'Stunning Young Guns', hoping they would rub off each other. Prudence hasn't improved much but hes slowly gaining popularity, holding the tag titles multiple times and is now having very good matches with Main Eventers.

http://i22.photobucket.com/albums/b332/astil/TEW2008/JoelBryant.jpg Joel Bryant (H)

Another reliable old guy in the upper midcard. Hes worked hard and has been in a tag team with Davis Wayne Newton ever since his old buddy Robert Oxford retired, which was about 2 and a half years ago. Newton & Bryant have been a midcard tag team and have never won the gold but consistently put on solid matches with whoever they are fighting.

http://i223.photobucket.com/albums/dd99/chuck_jaywalk/NateJohnson.jpg Nate Johnson (H)

Nate Johnson is phenomenal in the ring, so i've been using him in a tag team with the younger Joss Thompson, acting as his mentor and to hopefully improve Joss.

Thompson & Johnson have been very successful together but have yet to win the gold, the tag team is really there to get Joss Thompson over but that is yet to happen. Whatever happens, Nate Johnson will have a job with me at TCW for a long time being so talented in the ring at 36.

http://i745.photobucket.com/albums/xx100/aja_nyc/TEW%20People/OwenLove_AJA2.jpg Owen Love (H)

Owen Love has only recently joined TCW and at 3k a month thats another bargain i can invest time in. I've pushed him hard, giving him the 'All Action' belt as soon as he joined and have now paired him with Champagne Lover. They are now tag team champs who think the world of themselves, with Owen Love holding the International Title too, there is real gold in that tag team.

http://i263.photobucket.com/albums/ii145/jtlant/TEW%20-%20Alts/RockyGolden_alt1.jpg Rocky Golden (F)

I like the idea of Rocky but its very difficult to work him into successful feuds, what with him being below average for a top guy in the ring. He left the company in early 2012 but didn't go to SWF and instead opted to go and work for USPW. Now been back for under a year, his talent progression has hit a wall it seems and earning 25k a month its difficult to see how that is sustainable going forward.

http://i196.photobucket.com/albums/aa192/dse81_photo/TEW%20The%20Fed%20Dynasty/People/T%20-%20Album/T-Rex/T-Rex_dse81.jpg T-Rex (H)

Recently brought him in from USPW to be Tommy Cornell's Bodyguard/Manager. Will occasionally wrestle to protect his man Cornell.

http://i172.photobucket.com/albums/w17/tristramwcw/Supreme%20Wrestling%20Federation/ZimmyBumfhole.jpg Zimmy Bumfhole (F)

Works hard with his brother. See Randy for my thoughts on Zimmy.

Midcarders(in alphabetical order)

http://i114.photobucket.com/albums/n250/Tylergadzinski/people/AkimaBrave.jpg Akima Brave (H)

Akima Brave is okay. Here on a PPA deal, signed him after The Samoan Machine left but because of the nature of his deal he very rarely features.

http://t3.gstatic.com/images?q=tbn:ANd9GcRTFg1BDyZybF1gbgAPI-eKRxU0jX6tSeJJCOI4YYMlPlvqN-HPp6kVrJbXyw Buddy Garner (F)

With Brent Hill in the tag team 'The New Machines' currently. Garner has been a permanent fixture in the company since i started in 2010. Hes been very good, his highlight was in a run where he won the international title with Carl Batch as his manager. He and Batch have strangely got fantastic chemistry.

http://www5.picturepush.com/photo/a/3838223/1024/USPW%3A-A-Flash-Of-Genius/Chris-Caulfield-alt1.jpg Chris Caulfield (F)

Great Midcarder for me. Was in a tag team with Chance Fortune, until Chance left recently. Will always have a job as hes a locker room leader. Its tough to come up with fresh ideas for him.

http://i13.photobucket.com/albums/a288/foolinc/TEW108/75x75pics/DavisWayneNewton.jpg Davis Wayne Newton (H)

DWN was an early signing. He has failed to progress past the midcard even when earlier this year i gave him his own stable 'Newton's Boys' that featured Carl Batch, Joel Bryant and his Personal Bodyguard Killer Shark. Hes failed to improve, so its difficult for me to really give him the ball. Still working with Joel Bryant in the same heel tag team hes been in for most of his run in TCW, i wonder if Bryant is holding him back?

http://t0.gstatic.com/images?q=tbn:ANd9GcTVn754H2dVJgL-tFhUhhLh_Ci1xdyBL9bsxqJ-CuR15FZnwDIK7RSL-G38 Electrico (F)

Electrico works hard and is fantastic in the ring. Only recently brought into TCW and is in a tag team, 'ELECTRICITY', with El Leon, where they are both making great strides in the tag division.

http://t1.gstatic.com/images?q=tbn:ANd9GcQ3O9a_CPEsiqWjN1Nw7N1qufzxJXH0J5BwNTz26dV_NH6An4xv5rK0_Z5p Ernest Youngman (H)

Youngman is 20 years old and has already been in TCW for a year. Hes not featured in many storylines, hes been mainly losing and getting outwitted by the veterans in the company. Has time on his side.

http://rathen.animebots.co.uk/tew/cgc/gargantuan.jpg Gargantuan (H)

Recently exploded into TCW and formed a destructive tag team with Killer Shark, thats imaginatively been titled DESTRUCTION. Slowly building momentum.

http://i687.photobucket.com/albums/vv237/Mukan_no_Teioh/TLL/ALL/GinoMontero.jpg Gino Montero (F)

Hugely talented and is still very young. Has already feuded for world titles but came up short. Initially was in a tag team with Champagne Lover but then they had an argument that led to them feuding for a long time. Currently Gino is in another Mexican tag team with Marcos Flores and they have won the tag titles but right now they are struggling for momentum.

http://t1.gstatic.com/images?q=tbn:ANd9GcRm4Uhhm0oezfhyHOS7VYgJ6nvG-SroS6Ql129HD328GCYVN_Vm2kQd_shB Jay Chord (H)

Chord was an initial signing when i came into TCW, a great worker but everyone knows about his personality issues. So he can't be trusted higher up the card. In a tag team with Freddy Huggins, they were successful for 2 years but recently Chord has been losing lots and Huggins seems to be outgrowing the ultra talented but ultra troubled Chord.

http://i761.photobucket.com/albums/xx252/LoNdOn_BeAsT/JossThompson.jpg Joss Thompson (H)

Has been in a tag team with Nate Johnson ever since he arrived a couple of years ago the tag team has been successful but right now a 32, Thompson is on the bubble and needs one last push in talent to become a legitimate singles Main Eventer, i wonder if its too late for him to get there.

http://t3.gstatic.com/images?q=tbn:ANd9GcS_gh_PmvocwNmfTAdz-Nc4nyi9--dVgxyVmUdscQTbzDH3NPevaqId7LAu KC Glenn (H)

Everyone knows this guy can't talk but he can work. Hes still 22 and has time on his side, hes been lighting up the tag division with James Prudence in his run with the company.

http://i263.photobucket.com/albums/ii145/jtlant/TEW/KillerShark_alt1jt.jpg Killer Shark (H)

The other half of DESTRUCTION. Young, will always have a role in the wrestling industry, will it be with TCW, can he improve enough.

http://img1.uploadscreenshot.com/images/main/5/14702361066.jpg MARCOS FLORES (F) - Couldnt find a picture so am just using this. Will source one soon.

Flores is a great worker, worked in tag teams primarily since hes been in TCW, at 38 not sure he can work much higher up the card. Currently one half of The Mexican Connection with Gino Montero.

http://i293.photobucket.com/albums/mm75/trenchcoatbrigand/TCW/One-Offs/QuentinQueen.jpg Quentin Queen (F)

I have never pushed this guy, i have no idea how he is a midcard, he is semi talented, was in a stable with The Amazing Bumfhole's for a second.

http://t1.gstatic.com/images?q=tbn:ANd9GcTaRf3JpjFsiPImpCUACcPfPZuaCsi1HYY1Auz1LlWWEi-SGA-tyY16jq0_tg Roger Cage (H) - ALL ACTION CHAMPION

Roger Cage is a gem i signed recently from SWF, he lacks the in ring psychology currently to get higher up the card but his mic work is of a high standard and i'm holding out hope he can improve that in ring work and become a Main Eventer. Currently working with mic lower down the card and has got himself over incredibly fast.

- I'm liking the shape of your roster right now. Seems very interesting.

Yeh its just something i believe in. I never personally can buy into world champions who are lightweights. I made it sound like a massive overruling rule there, obviously there are exceptions. Sammy Bach probably could be one of those exceptions.

NEXT POST: I'll finish up the lower end of the roster.

THE TCW ROSTER

(F)= Babyface

(H)= Heel

Low Midcarders(in alphabetical order)

Bulldozer Brandon Smith (F)

Smith has been in the company with me for 3 years now. His record is 14 wins, 60 losses and 2 draws. I realize he is talented and he has improved but i've never been inspired by him, where hes looked like he could use a push.

El Leon (F)

The other half of ELECTRICITY. Already a very talented wrestler at 30. It will be interesting to see how far he gets.

Mighty Mo (F)

Worked hard with Mo over the last year or two. Hes been improving as a worker and slowing defining his style. Also works for 4C and NYCW and is putting on some good matches.

Ricky DeColt (F)

Only recently signed Ricky, i hope he will prove to be a valuable undercard face in the coming future.

Sayeed Ali (H)

Ali's best run came about two years ago, when he was in a tough tag team with Sgt. Bubba Lee West. Unfortunately he hasn't been used much recently.

Steve Flash (F)

Been in TCW for a little over a year, everyone knows hes a fantastic wrestler and has been working with a lot of the younger guys in the company.

Openers(in alphabetical order)

Bob Casey (F)

Jobber, useful in some matches, rarely used.

Edward Cornell (H)

A solid reliable heel that i've had in the company for a year, surprisingly i've kept him away from his brother.

Frogue Element (H)

25 year old who was brought in from Australia at the start of the year, hasn't improved much, despite being in the ring with some great works on a consistent basis. Has tonnes of charisma and at 25, i'm not going to give up on him. In a tag team currently with Landon Mallory.

Jared Johnson (F)

Hes meant to be quite talented, never really got any momentum going in TCW, has 7 months left on his deal.

Landon Mallory (H)

Recently signed and came in with Frogue Element, so they were put in a tag team called 'A Class Apart'. The tag team has 2 wins under its belt and 20 losses.

Enhancement Talent(in alphabetical order)

Blackfire (H)

Goth Gimmicked wrestler who graduated from the dojo. Not really achieved anything of note in TCW.

Loxley Robbins (F)

The eternal babyface, who is extremely talented in every area of wrestling apart from in ring psychology. Its not a lost cause at 27 and since hes been signed hes been working hard with many veterans to try and improve this. All the potential to be a star.

Non-Wrestling Talent(in alphabetical order)

American Buffalo (Heel Manager)

Buffalo has managed Jay Chord ever since he retired from the ring.

Carl Batch (Heel Manager)

One of the best Manager's in the world. Has had numerous wrestlers work under him but never had any of them break into the Main Event

Jessie (Face Manager)

Brought in around the same time husband Angry Gilmore arrived in TCW. Completely failed when she tried to manage him and Jessie has failed to get any chemistry with anyone else she has tried to manage so far in the company.

TCW PRESENTS TOTAL WRESTLING

The fall out from the explosive pressure cooker that was Summer Showdown will now over spill into the Total Wrestling Arena, where we will bear witness to a 3 Way Dance that will determine the number one contender for Angry Gilmore's TCW World Heavyweight Championship. Sammy Bach and Champagne Lover will be red hot favourites in the match as they are both coming off wins at Summer Showdown, with the latter being good enough to win the Tag Team Championship just two nights ago. Eddie Peak is the 3rd competitor in the match and despite not winning in the Main Event on Sunday at the hottest Pay Per View of the Year, he is ready to go and grab another opportunity to get a shot at the TCW Title that's eluded him all these years.

There will also be more sizzling summer action, with an explosive 4 Way Tag Team match that will feature, 'The New Machines', 'Reed & Son', 'Struck a Chord' and 'Thompson & Johnson' as they put their case forward to be considered as Number One Contenders for the Tag Titles. With 8 men in the ring, surely chaos will ensue.

Chaos is not a word you would associate with Sean McFly but don't let that deter you adrenaline junkies from witnessing his last appearance in TCW for a long time. As he fulfills the last date on a talent exchange with North Of The Border Wrestling that our visionary leader Nemesis secured, so make sure you catch this last McFly appearance as he will be going all out to teach rambunctious cocky up start Davis Wayne Newton a thing or two about wrestling.

Also, we will see KC Glenn go all out to avenge the loss he suffered at Summer Showdown to Rocky Golden, Roger Cage will be defending his All Action Title versus a fantastically gifted Ricky DeColt and Angry Gilmore will be making an appearance after his heroically unexpected win in the Main Event on Sunday

Be sure not to miss it. Tuesdays 9pm GNN Total Sport.
