rafini
If anybody else is running the game on Virtual PC, I was wondering what your sim speeds were like. In roughly 16 hours of simming it still isn't even through the second season yet on a league I just started and wanted to add some history to. Obviously something isn't right, but OOTP and other games have simmed at fine speeds on my powerbook with Virtual PC, so I'm not sure what the problem is. At this speed, it's going to take a looooooooong time to get the 20 years of history I wanted before starting my career. Any ideas?

Cooleyvol
On a regular PC, I'm 10 hours in and the game is in Season 17.
rafini
I can usually do around 10 seasons of OOTP overnight, but I basically got 1 season of BBCF simmed while I slept last night.
scoman
can you say "computer upgrade".
rafini
can you say "computer upgrade".
That's not the problem. I've got a Powerbook G4, 1.33 GHz, 1 GB memory ... It's not a brand new model, but it's certainly enough to run this program. Like I've said, OOTP, FOF and TCY all run fine with good enough sim speeds, but for some reason BBCF just runs really slow. sjshaw
Intel PowerBooks in January most likely. VPC will then be emulating Windows natively and there will be little to no latency issues. Until then, yes, BBCF does not run well on VPC.

Kelly J Delaney
I have an AMD Athlon 64 x2 3800+ with a gig of ram and it takes at least 90 mins for 7 seasons. Don't get me wrong, love the game, just a little slow.
