thilonash
Just started another 0/0/0/0 game, my old one got erased because my computer was virused up and i had to do a complete reboot (luckily i was able to unlicence before so i could keep my game) anyway, im playing a real world mod, and colby corino just debuted at 16. Im hoping to keep him for his whole career and build him up into a star. I was just wondering, whats the longest anyones ever held onto the same wrestler?? Did you build them up from a nobody into a superstar?? Anyone try to recreate an undertaker/wrestlemania like streak?? Im pretty excited to see what I can build up colby corinos stats up to, considering He has a good 15 years atleast before the idea of stat declining even comes into question. Also kinda related, is there a limit on the amount of skill a wrestler can learn?? Or could i potentially get any wrestler up to 80-90 in a skill if given enough time and given enough ringtime/developmental time with higher skilled workers? Remianen
Longest tenured wrestlers: Kinuye Mushashibo, Callisto, Elyssa Anderson, Scarlet, Sapphire, Nevarre, Catalonia, Alassra Blackledge/The Predator, etc - 16 years (game start to 2026). But to be fair, Kinuye was the only one who didn't start in development. Most of my stalwarts were call ups. Longest tenured non-wrestlers: Melanie Florence, Sensational Ogiwara, Stacy Simmons, Cheyenne, Thunder Hike, etc - 16 years (game start to present). The only non-wrestler I've lost has been Abi Romanov, who left for SWF in 2018. Yes, there are limits to how far a worker can be developed. Those limits are determined at the start of every game and are determined by a hidden value euphemistically referred to as the 'destiny value'. Some stats (like star quality) can improve the odds of a worker having higher caps but there's no way to remove the caps, short of doing it manually (assuming that tactic even works anymore. Haven't tried since like TEW07).
Condors
I had extreme deluxe for over 20 year till his "kenny" death sometimes in 0/0/0/0 games you can test him for drugs and fire/reconsider and he will become loyal to you. He stinks but if you find chemistry for him he still stinks
LoganRodzen
Longest tenured wrestlers in my 2023 WCW game would be American Patriot, Jay Chord, Cameron Vessey, and Casey Valentine. Those four workers have never jumped ship to another promotion for the entire 13-years. There's a few others who have been employed for the entirety but I can't recall all of them (I'm at work at the moment).
Comradebot
Don't think I've ever run a company where I didn't have at least a few of the original stars... course, I'm not huge on turnover anyways. I usually enjoy the original rosters of a company and if I bring someone in it tends to be someone I want to use. Of course, almost every default starting roster has a guy or two I have no love for (see Super Falcon in EWA) and some guys just start to annoy me more than my desire to keep them around. In my 0/0/0/0 game in Scotland (now in July 2015)... lemme see: Bad News Bruno, Beast Bantom, Liam Lutz, The Dublin Destroyer, and The Scotsman Those are the folks who have managed to stick around for our entire run so far, and all of em' as far as I'm concerned have a job with the company for as long as they want it. Yes, even The Scotsman... after all, he was our first ever champion way back when (having beat Brilliant White in an epic F+ match to win the tournament for the first champion... thankfully, only four people paid to watch that crap). Self
The only person remaining on my 2019 SWF roster from when I got the job in 2017 is Spencer Spade. I encourage turnover. Amber Allen probably has the longest time with me (as opposed to the promotion). One of my earliest hires for my little Canadian promotion, I took her to SWF fairly soon after I made the switch, and created a Women's division for her. Bit bored of her now. OctoberRaven
Richie Riggins, hired him in my last local to global game and had him for the entirety of it's run. Gave him the main belt at my last show in what ended up being the best match the promotion ever had at 80. Granted he was against Jack Avatar, but... wow, I never expected that. Showtime4Lajf
In my 0/0/0/0 game now in July 2015 Roger Monteiro, Mark Smart, Fearless Blue, Paranoia, and Paradigm are still around from when we started out. The last three mainly because they have relationships that help the backstage environment. Paradigm is the most beloved man in the company with three strong friendships and two loyalties having formed. Smart and Monteiro just seem to be really carryable, so I like having them around. Ant-man was also on the original roster, but was gone for the entirety of 2012 and a good chunk of 2013 because he decided he wanted to explore his other options for no apparent reason. Of course I eventually took him back even though he deserted me.
Blake Trask
I have a 0/0/0/0 in October 2017 and I actually recently figured this one out. I've had the following wrestlers for the full 7 years, nine months; Brendan Idol Ashley Grover Regular Joe So far as backstage staff go, I've had these guys for the full stretch too: Jordan Brigstock (announcer and my boss) Heather Halo (referee, improved to vast degrees) Connie Morris (retired earlier this year, now working as a road agent). Similarly to the above, I had Ant-Man on my original roster, but he left for a time when I was at war with NYCW and I only brought him back later. I've also had the following since the start of Small, so ~6 years and 10 months: The Ring Generals Natural Storm Giant Brody Sara Silver More turnover overall than I thought there would be actually, I guess it's because my main roster has been pretty stable for quite a while now. As for streaks... well I have a 1 and oh. Gavin Rude, the first/second graduate of my dojo (depending on who you ask) is going to go on a streak at Wrestling Spirit, which isn't THE most important event we have, but tends to always have some of our highest grades. That only started this year though.
MNCyGuy
I'm midway through 2015 and I realized today there are only 3 workers (minus my user character) who have been continuously on the Wrestling Without Borders roster from the beginning: Chess Maniac, Rafael Ruiz, and UK Dragon. There are a few other original roster members working for the company right now, but those are the only three that have never left and then come back. Fleisch
Currently 11 years in on my 0-0-0-0 game (now 2023), as NWA: BLITZ and I have only 1 worker who has been with me since day 1 of the promotion, Extreme Tiger. Since joining he has held the Tag Belts on 5 occasions (4 with Silver Kain aka Silver King and once with Jack Evans) as well as my Juniorweight Title on 2 occasions. Currently he is helping the younger New Gens get over on my TV show, making rare appearances on my PPV's.
alphadraighon
War Machine has been with me for 15 years over the course of 3 separate promotions. I signed him as a rookie when I was running ROF in the UK, brought him in when I took over WAM in Mexico, and again when I started up my own promotion (European World Class Wrestling) in Central Europe. Under me, he's held the following championships: ROF National Heavyweight (3x) ROF Glorious Burden tournament winner (2x) WAM Rey del Anillo (2x) WAM El Gran Desafío tournament winner (1x) ELPF Pure Heavyweight (1x) (Title was acquired when I bought out ELPF) EWCW International Openweight (2x) EWCW European Union Heavyweight (4x) My second longest standing worker was El Demonio, who was with me for the seven years I was in charge of WAM. He only held one championship: the Campeón Nacional Mexicano title, but he was the undefeated champion for 5 straight years, with 52 defenses, before retiring. Otherwise I tend to let people go every 4-5 years to make room for new talent, but will bring people back if I feel like I can use them.
BigM
In my Canadian regional game I just reached my 6th year. Bob Casey and Donte Dunn have been with me since my first show. Bob held my midcard title for like 2 months in 2014. Before that I put a mask on him and made tag with Ant-man as superheroes. Now I gave him an Abyss style mask and push him as a madman. Donte I haven't done anything with except for a short tag team with Cal Sanders.
