St. Patty Day Riot

I saw this in the news it looked really crazy. When I saw it I was at a bar so I didn't really get a chance to hear what actually went on but it certainly looked bad.

 


But now I'm going to be a word **** and correct the title of this thread. It is a St. Paddy's Day Riot. Patty is the short form of Patricia in Irish Gaelic Patrick is spelled Pádraig and the short form is Paddy.

I did accidentally knock my buddies X-Files box set off the shelf when drunk once, but it was okay .... and that same night I totally prevented a fight from breaking out because an athiest wanted to start on some christians, but there weren't any, so he started on a guy with a popped collar instead and despite being super drunk I made sure peace prevailed and the party continued being awesome.</p><p> </p><p> In conclusion, excessive alcohol does not have to mean unpleasantness!</p>

Except fun. Seriously, people blame alcohol for rioting? Alcohol doesn't flip cars or throw bottles. If it did, I would have done a lot more property damage in my time. Maybe I should clarify-Excessive Alcohol in Large Gatherings. Those two things don't mix well, ever.

You can take half of the people and put them in a different setting with the same drinks, and the day will be different. People use alcohol as a crutch, when it's mostly them trying to be the biggest douchebag they can be to make other people either feel bad, or laugh.</p>
