RedsRule
Do you guys ever edit stats before the game? By that I mean do you ever add camps for certain guys/ or some stats? I added a camp for Lamont Banner ( him being a "world class" boxer, I figured it would be nice for him to have his own camp) Or ever edit companies for different rules/weight classes? Blackman
Yes, of course. It makes a game different from the average game. The database is yours to mend however you want. I basically change fight camp members (would be nice to do this in-game) and finetune some stats, but nothing major. Editing companies for rulesets and classes is also quite fun. Target Practice
I thought of doing something like this a while back for when I finally call time on my BCF game. I'd just go through and essentially 'shuffle the deck', changing the stats for fighters and camps so that I won't be tempted to just sign the same fighters over and over, but without the hassle of sourcing renders for fighters.

Maybe at some point I'll actually do that, but right now I'm still having too much fun with my first game.

HansLanda11
The last time I started a game without editing anything I was playing the original WMMA with the default database. That didn't last long because soon afterwards I imported a real world database which made everything slow and kind of ruined my game. Every game since I have gone edit crazy and now days I always create my own custom MMA universe starting in the 80's or early 90's then I simulate 5-10 years just as a spectator before creating my own promotion. Rebby
I don't edit stats but I constantly add relationships, modify company weight classes or sizes or money, change champions...things like that to keep the beginning of the game fresh at all times. But actual stats for fighters, no...I don't do that.

I do always keep a 'Default Prime' copy of the game so I can always revert back without having to find the Default database online =p
bitlos
Besides adding more fighters and other stuff from the mods forum, I've edited Sukarno's contract to avoid KDMFC from going under too soon. I've also been thinking about adding TV shows and ppv's for all active promotions at game start to make it more competitive.

blockrocker
I like to add myself into the game. As well as, tweek some of the canadian talent to ensure they have more successful careers, instead of being cannon fodder. <img alt="" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/wink.png.686f06e511ee1fbf6bdc7d82f6831e53.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" />
Makhai
I'll usually spot bonehead or out-of-date ratings for guys in-game and change them right there. For example: just fixed Sheila Gaff's striking in my game. She's a monster now, just like she's supposed to be. Sometimes I'll add promotions or set up a random curveball storyline. But that's about it for pre-game stuff.

As for the default database... No, never touch it, that's sacrilegious in my book. Seeing folks hidden ratings may alter the way I book fights unconsciously. Can't risk it.
