Krob626
I used to frequent this forum all the time but I kinda just stopped playing the games, but I just recently purchased TEW 2010 and im re-kindling the flame. I remember there used to be a set up that someone posted on here that added up to the "Perfect product" for a wrestling federation. Does anyone remember what the set up was? ampulator
There is none. It all depends on what you want to do and how you want to play. If you asking what's "easy", though, i can give you one, but it's probably not too hard to figure out.
Teh_Showtime
I remember there was one posted to be able to have 0-100 intensity
WxRobbie
These are the two threads that I have bookmarked. The first is from TEW 07 and you'll need to adjust it to TEW10 accordingly. And the second has the same warning as its from TEW08. http://www.greydogsoftware.com/forum/showthread.php?t=25269 http://www.greydogsoftware.com/forum/showthread.php?t=50747
Remianen
I don't tend to make "perfect" products. I make products with as much versatility as possible. The product in 07 was probably the closest I've come to perfection for me. I was trying to create the 'Cutting Edge' style from 05 and came close but also got a lot of fringe benefits. But if you could explain the kind of show you see your promotion putting on (all of the elements, not just 'lots of wrestling'), we could probably help you put something together. ampulator
If you want something easy to play, this is it. Key Feature:Mainstream Medium: Modern Angles: 80% A very basic and easy product. It's popularity-equals-performance product. It will require gimmicks and angles, but not storylines.
Teh_Showtime
Also perhaps worth noting, Traditional, Lucha, and Cult won't change the Pop vs Pref balance.
ampulator
Also perhaps worth noting, Traditional, Lucha, and Cult won't change the Pop vs Pref balance. You forgot to add Daredevil and Hardcore does the same thing as well. But there are reasons why I wouldn't necessarily recommend adding Cult, Daredevil, or Hardcore. dormammu
I know earlier versions of TEW had the "perfect product", but 2010 really doesn't. The 'perfect product' is one that lets you book how you want. For instance, for me, the "perfect product" has Modern and Traditional at Key and Lucha and Realism at medium. I love it. No Faces/Heels (which lets me do whatever I want with whoever I want) and it's all based on performance, not popularity. (Which is how the lower midcarder just put on match of the night with the main eventer in my game. Kenta Kobayashi vs Rey Mysterio, by the way, in a 2001 mod.) But just experiment with product settings and read what the fans will want. You'll find something that sounds good eventually.
ampulator
Any combination of Traditional, Mainstream, Comedy, Lucha Libre, and Modern will make a relatively easy product to do.

Condors
for myself I really find key mainstream and comedy easy to book for. Using angles you can raise peoples charisma and popularity. Give people simple gimmicks and if they are happy you get Good gimmick bonus, Good morale, good charisma If you have a good road agent, ref, announcer and color commentator Find a few chemistry matchups Even with less than the best workers you can put on good shows. Entertainers work very well in this product. I also go with 6 6 and 12 for the match length and have a strong face/heel divide.
ampulator
for myself I really find key mainstream and comedy easy to book for. That leads to a popularity-based promotion. For anything lower than Cult, Popularity-based promotions aren't exactly a good idea. Popularity is scarcity at Regional, and if you ever build someone popular enough, there's a good chance they might get snatched by someone bigger. Not that I'm disagreeing. It's just not as viable at lower sizes, that's all. Generally speaking, the better (but harder) way to do it to have a popularity-equals-performance product. (Although easy to do, there's only one way to do it with the least amount of condtradictions).
