drcat123 Posted April 20, 2012 Posted April 20, 2012 Cage Database changed there site. The search bar is gone and replaced with a crappy google search I had to click 5 different links to get the old search bar http://www.cagematch.net/?id=2&view=workers&name=Earl+The+Pearl&promotion=&year=&birthplace=
Hive Posted April 20, 2012 Posted April 20, 2012 Not quite sure it justifies a new top every time a fairly unknown indie wrestler passes away, but okay... I surely expected something of a bit larger magnitude when I saw this topic.

juggaloninjalee Posted April 20, 2012 Posted April 20, 2012 I really didn't see a place to put it Supreme Database Thread would work.
juggaloninjalee Posted April 20, 2012 Posted April 20, 2012 Who made you guys the topic police? I was just making a suggestion. If people posted things wherever though then by this criteria I guess we should post every indy fed show results in the mod thread because it can be used in other mods. The Dog Pound would have been ideal for this topic though about an indy worker dieing. That is where they have gone in the past and also in threads for certain mods.
Hive Posted April 20, 2012 Posted April 20, 2012 Who made you guys the topic police? Who made you the topic police police? Just saying that it perhaps doesn't fit in the mod subforum (but should proably go to the dog pound instead), that the topic is a bit overdramatized (as it is alluding that the post contains contents of great news of great importance and value to all mod makers, which I wouldn't exactly say this is) and that if such events should each have their very own thread here, we'd soon be clogging up the forum. I'm not pretending to be a moderator here, just offering suggestions to make such notifications appear in a more constructive way in the future. That's what my thoughts where and what I was trying to achieve, what did you aim to contribute with in your very fine and constructive post, dear sir?
Astil Posted April 20, 2012 Posted April 20, 2012 There could be a 'Real World Updates' thread where people post any real world updates they have. Would cut down on clutter and still give people a place to post updates should they so desire.

Astil Posted April 20, 2012 Posted April 20, 2012 Yeah, but it would be pushed down and lost because Adam refuses to sticky any non- C-Verse threads. /shrug I personally don't think it would deserve to get stickied. Also I don't want to speak for him, but it's probably a bit risky stickying and kinda advertising real world mods on the company website. So basically, yeah, however the more organized it is, the better chance of it getting used, the more chance it remains on the first or second page.
Stennick Posted April 20, 2012 Posted April 20, 2012 I've never even heard of this guy and I'd like to ad you put "ALL Mod Makers" you should have thrown in the word "real world" in there somewhere too.
juggaloninjalee Posted April 20, 2012 Posted April 20, 2012 I think the point is that this hardly known indy worker shouldn't have his own thread IN THE MOD SECTION. OP could have posted about it in his own mod thread. He could have given this guy his own thread in the Dawg Pound and titled it Another Wrestler RIP, or (insert name) RIP, or whatever he wanted. To the OP thank you for informing us. Your intent was positive.
drcat123 Posted April 22, 2012 Author Posted April 22, 2012 I already had this topic so I used it again. There is really no good topic for this stuff
