i was just wondering how low does a company have to be to buy them out and make them a development or how high does your company to buy another one

You can only buy companies out if they are in the red.

From the minor questions thread, something I just answered for somebody today:

 

Just put their money really low, like -5,000,000, and then wait for the news article about their failing finances to hit twice. On the second one, you can take them over. It'll take about 2-3 months.

It's only activated on the message that says they're about to go under. You then have the opportunity to save them which usually last about a month, then they close.

There is no way to change the cards once they have been booked but if you really want a fighter in your child promotion to change weight classes you can call the fighter up, edit his prefered weight class to whatever weight class you want him to be in and then send him back to your child promotion.

its just i created new divisons and there yet to put the titles on the line yet so there still vacated

Doesn't always work. Tried moving Josh Thompson to Welterweight but he was changed back to Lightweight when I sent him back down.

It may work if you go into the in-game data modifier and change their best weight to something in the 156-170 range. I've done that a few times with regens and it seems to work, though I've never tried it with someone who was already signed to a promotion.

Iceisle has it. You have to go into the in-game editor and change the fighters prefered fighting weight then send him back to your child promotion. It's worked 100% of the time for me, so far.

I've had this happen with one of the real world mods. Hopefully someone will correct me if I'm wrong (because I hope I am), but I don't think you can do anything about that in your current game. The only way I know to fix that is by going to the main database editor and changing the title's ownership.

 

For example, the Ultimate Fighter Season 5 title was brought out of retirement by the UFC in my game, so I changed the company for that title from "UFC" to "None". It still shows up in the list of achievements for any fighters that won it pre-game, but no one technically owns it, so it will never be resurrected. What makes me pretty sure that there's no better way is the fact that most of the other TUF titles were already set to "None".

 

Unfortunately, that didn't help me in my current game, but it's better than nothing I suppose.
