Runtheball
I'm in the budget setting phase in week 1 of my second season. I've set budget amounts for all areas, and have $40000 remaining. Now I click on Scouting Service, and am about to select a service (budget remaining still says $40k). I click on "suggest" and it recommends a service that costs 40k, but now my "Budget Remaining" reads 65k. Then I click on the service for my region that costs 95k, and it says my remaining budget is 10k. Anyone have an explanation for this? During my first season I actually overspent my budget by 85k, which I didn't think would be possible. If the game does allow this, and its not a bug, I'm guessing I'm about to get fired for not sticking to the budget.
Runtheball
In order to avoid using the worst recruiting service in my region, I freed up a few more bucks in the budget, to 65k available. Now I went back to the recruiting service screen and selected the 65k service, clicked "save", saw the message that my changes had been saved, and when I go back to the budget screen it says I still have 65k budget remaining! Am I the only one noticing this?

tdog
I've seen it. I think (and that could be dangerous) that thay have already budgeted the least recruiting service you can get. Click on a higher service and I have had it change the budget.
Meat
I've figured it out... You hired Gary Barnett as your assistant now that he is out at Colorado and he has convienently tucked some rainy day money away in a slush fund for you. I gotta hire that guy, he knows how to throw a great party with strippers, and finds a way to pay for everything.
