These games are fun to read about.

You're not losing either of these - DWN will probably get stolen by the big promotions soon, might as well use him to get you over while you have him.

Have to agree with the others, you aren't going to lose your two matches after putting the effort back in January to raise your overness, especially since DWN is likely to be heading to a national or larger promotion soon.

Sadly, while this will probably allow the promotion to make money, its going to be a bit poisonous in the locker room. Wrestlers don't like missing shows and you'll have some that haven't wrestled since February.

Thought I predicted already. Apparently not.

DID SOMEONE SAY MORE?

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
World Engine...25...asked Mr. Lucha III to go on tour with them.
His hardcore "stat," let's say, is about a 22.
WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING WRESTLING ENGINE DO YOU WANT ME TO DECLAREyou know what, I've been down the road of getting angry at people, and I'm not doing that again. I've adjusted myself, become something of a model employee, and it is up to Mr. Lucha III to make his decision.
Edit: Sunday 1 of May, Mr. Lucha III did sign with them for a tour.
Curiously enough, aside from Bobbie Dylan, no one debuted in the states. Weird. But May gives us an opportunity to make more money, so how about I do that?
Davis Wayne Newton was offered a contract with NYCW on Friday 1 of May.
Edit: This appears to have come to nothing.
She is now far more appealing sexually and much more popular in the United States and Canada. If we had offered her a contract previous to this announcement, we would have gained a large bounty. Given her personality, however, I had refrained from doing that.
Extraordinario Jr. vs. Island Boy Apollo
Extraordinario Jr. vs. Island Boy Apollo - If in doubt, go for the former champ.
(For the Midcard Titles)
Jen and Kathy Neptune vs. Mr. Lucha III and Lobo Blanco - If in doubt, go for the more established team.
(For the Main Event Title)
Gaius © vs. The Tic - If in doubt, go for the Godpushed UC.
MOAAARRRR!!
Mad Dog Mortimer vs. Arthur Dexter Bradley
I signed Mad Dog in my RtG game, he didn't really amount to much beyond mid card job status.
Extraordinario Jr. vs. Island Boy Apollo
Former champ picks up the win here.
(For the Midcard Titles)
Jen and Kathy Neptune vs. Mr. Lucha III and Lobo Blanco
Champs (?) retain! What with Lucha off doing his hardcore thing.
(For the Main Event Title)
Gaius © vs. The Tic
UC wins.
In completely unrelated news, we have terminated the contract of June Butler. We hired a replacement who is a better road agent, more popular, and a bit more personable backstage. This individual will debut on The Dark Horse Requiem V; it is possible this person will also take a place on the announcer's desk. I have not yet decided that, but I will be opening the show debuting this person.
...
Also, Extraordinario Jr. and The Tic are working for World Level Wrestling tonight. I really need to check my calendar better. Here is the revised card:
Mad Dog Mortimer vs. Arthur Dexter Bradley
Amber Allen vs. Island Boy Apollo
(For the Midcard Titles)
Jen and Kathy Neptune © vs. Mr. Lucha III and Lobo Blanco
(For the Main Event Title)
Mad Dog is a bit better than Arthur
Amber Allen vs. Island Boy Apollo
I can't see Island Boy winning this.
(For the Midcard Titles)
Jen and Kathy Neptune © vs. Mr. Lucha III and Lobo Blanco
Your experienced tagteam should hold the title for more than 1 month.
(For the Main Event Title)
Gaius © vs. Kinuye Mushashibo
Kinuye doens't have the star quality to be tops. She's great for making others look good though.
More potential
Amber Allen vs. Island Boy Apollo
Amber has good stats if I remember correctly
(For the Midcard Titles)
Jen and Kathy Neptune © vs. Mr. Lucha III and Lobo Blanco
Can't see a change here
(For the Main Event Title)
Gaius © vs. Kinuye Mushashibo
The only time I would bet against Gaius if if he was booked against giant space ninjas. Five of them :)
Fun fact: I forgot that I fired June and hired someone. I see that I have no road agent when booking my first match. I was going to put Gaius in there, but I remembered that I had hired someone for the purpose of being a road agent. When I typed "going to put" just now is precisely when I remembered who it was. So...took me about 2 minutes.
Mad Dog Mortimer vs. Arthur Dexter Bradley
I decided to have this be a complete domination for the 6 or so minutes it lasted. Given that these two were already somewhat displeased with not being used, I wanted the popularity boost they would have from winning be as large as possible.
ADB hits his Frog Splash to win it; while the match wasn't great, I hope he'll continue learning as he ages. He might soon become a capable midcarder not just for me, but for FCW as well. I commend the Mad Dog for bumping like crazy, as well.
Rating: 22
Amber Allen vs. Island Boy Apollo
It's times like these that I can be proud to see the current youth perform. Allen needs a lot of polish before she can run the ropes herself, but she's a great technician. Apollo's not keen to that style, but he certainly appears willing to learn to perform as well. When you get two people hungry in the ring, even if they are not good individually, occasionally something great just clicks and they put on a clinic.
I'm not saying they were pulling off rolling germans and swanton dive senton splashes or anything; again, they aren't capable enough-yet-to do that. But with what they had, limited as it was, and just a bit of chemistry there, they excelled.
Amber Allen eventually submits Island Boy Apollo in what will likely be one of the best matches of our year.
Rating: 31
The Neptune Twins vs. Mr. Lucha III/Lobo Blanco
Here we have one of the best workers on the roster, Mr. Lucha III, along with a solid Lobo Blanco against an experienced tag team. Even then, their abilities combined couldn't come close to beating out the previous match. Then again, great chemistry between workers isn't something one can predict, so I think that's okay.
Jen Neptune hits an Alabama Jam on Lobo Blanco after some fast-paced tags, and she wins it for her team.
Rating: 22
Gaius vs. Kinuye Mushashibo
Ha! Even this match didn't quite meet Allen and Apollo! That's how proud I am of them. Kinuye and I put on a slow-paced affair, a stark contrast to the all-out nature of the three previous, short matches. Yet again I found myself tiring; I am unsure as to why that is happening. I thought my stamina ability would handle at least this length of match, especially with the methodical structure we kept.
Gaius pinned Mushashibo to retain the title in 16 minutes.
Rating: 30
Who's the new road agent?
MAYHEM MIDDEN.
Rating: 38
~Post-Show~
It's still Midden. What? I want to be popular!
Rating: 31
23
A 23? Oh, right. I put too many non-wrestling segments in there. Actually, it's the post-show thing that did it. Oh well. I didn't gain any popularity, either, which means I might need to dominate a little more and/or be in more angles with Midden next time.
Predictions:
mvargus: 3/4
Occasional Z: 4/4
Psycho Sam: 3/4
Phreak: 4/4
Jaded: 3/4
Wow, those were difficult predictions *rolls eyes* Aside from the first match (on which I was split until the moment of booking), looks like everyone picked flawlessly.
Overall:(Ignoring the "save money" week)
Psycho Sam: 6/10
mvargus: 6/10
Phreak: 6/10
Occasional Z: 6/10
Jaded: 3/10
Timber: 1/10
