Portlius
Dunton Hall, international mega-genius, starts his attempt to dominate the world of wrestling from a church hall down by Cardiff Docks. His agent of choice: A 19 year old failed soldier known only as Private Pain. So Red Dragon Wrestling is born! In this era of austerity Hall issues his protégé with a simple set of instructions: Get 12 of the cheapest wrestlers in the UK scene and keep your events as cheap as possible until RDW hits small size. No tag team matches and try and find some worker chemistry. To start with, definitely a performance based promotion. Heavy on traditional and mainstream, medium on cult, modern and realism and low on comedy, risqué, hardcore and daredevil. But room to adapt the product and respond to the market. 70% of time to be spent on matches. The Roster Faces Martin Heath ($350) main face entertainer Nigel Svensson ($400) main face wrestler Chris Everton ($150) Thunderbolt ($150) Bali Daljit ($150) Private Pain ($150) Heels Glen Ward ($150) main heel Frank Simmons ($150) Norma Gates ($150) Liam Lutz ($150) Pierre du Pont ($150+$99 expenses) Vic Walker ($150) Support Duston Hall ($42) Personality and main angle worker Kev Jordan ($250) announcer Salty Larry ($250) colour commentator Tyler Baker ($200) referee Darius Hughes ($100) road agent A pretty mediocre bunch, onto the first event at the end of Jan 2010: White Death

1PWfan
Dragon King Submission match Glen Ward v Nigel Svensson(good chemistry) I'm going to buck the trend here and go with Nige, largely because I hate Glen Ward Hardcore match - Norman Gates v Chris Everton As a hardcore worker Gates is actually pretty good Tag match Heathcliffe (Heath & Daljit) vs Charm School (Vic Walker and P du Pont) First Blood match for Young Dragon title Liam Lutz v Private Pain I can't really figure where the numbers go grade-wise but Pain seems like a solid competitor

Portlius
Merthyr Madness (March 2010) results Merthyr Madness-March 2010 (Att: 7- held at Wyndham Arms, Merthyr as seen on Britain’s Hardest Pubs) Hall rants at Workers 40/D- Lutz defeats Private Pain in first blood match to win Young Dragon 21/E- Hall rants at Workers 38/D- Heathcliffe defeats Charm School 20/E- Hall rants at Workers 40/D- Norman Gates defeats Chris Everton in Hardcore match 11/F Glen Ward blatantly cheats to gain submission over Nigel Svensson and retain Dragon King 37/D- Overall: 31/E+ (record) Notes: Charm School have GREAT chemistry (Vic Walker and Pierre du Pont) so expect that oily pair to be given lots of tag team experience at least for immediate future Chris Everton really did not like the hardcore style. Funnily enough Norman Gates was right at home... Costs went up to $2800 but still made $250 profit. Bank balance stands at $3700 now The "Hall rants at workers" angle is a six minute entertainment based rant to three non-rated but on screen workers. Effectively on the job entertainment training. Oh and in case anyone asks, I have no graphics skills WHATSOEVER. My school report for Art once read "D-, he tried"
Portlius
Results of Predictions for March 2010 Occasional Z (3/4) all bar Lutz correct 1PWFan (2/4) though I agree with your comments. Ward is my number one heel at the moment Jingo (2/4) though I really like Svensson too Jaded (1/4) but Liam Lutz appreciates the vote of confidence Fascinating comments, and could so easily have gone the other way on the Ward-Svensson bout. I picked Lutz for the win because I didn’t want my UC hogging a belt and possibly getting an ego. Skill development is the order of the day at the moment. Still Occasional Z’s rationale for Private Pain winning had a lot of merit. Second straight win for Occasional, and the first against opposition. So he gets to be Dunton Hall with any one suggestion. Speaking of which....
